As a veteran myself, let me ask you a question... What does her being a veteran have to do with it? Everyday people are being priced out of housing by skyrocketing rents. THAT is the issue, not her veteran status. Veterans [myself included] are not entitled to anything our contracts didn't call for when we signed up. The respect is nice, and I DO thank you for it, but this is a problem throughout Western Washington and it's reaching over to the other side of the mountains too. People in Cle Elum and Ellensburg are getting priced out by rents rising faster than their pay. So the question arises, what are WE, all of us, gonna do about that?
Not just mobile home parks, that's the problem with Real Estate. They can just jack your insurance and taxes up until you can no longer afford to live there and take your home. The idea that you can point at mobile homes as if it isn't your problem is complete denial.
@kathleenardrey5094 because they're elderly. Dude can barely walk. Get all those able-bodied single moms off assistance and redirect those funds to people who actually need it.
Why I refuse to move to a park that has mo rent control for senior low income. I'm facing the unknown of where I can live after I lose my home thru divorce. SNOHOMISH COUNTY HAS No reasonably priced land even to purchase or rent. Every day, an elderly person on fixed income becomes homeless. It has to explode at some point.
Ya the solution is to throw more free gov money at the land owner mega corporations………ummmm how about we dont do that. And instead have proper long term land rental agreements
My sister and her husband own a rental, and they said the utilities have gone through the roof. They collect an extra $75 for them ( water, sewer, electric) but are in the hole each month by almost $125 !
and another million dollars invested...invested into what? They use this as an excuse to raise rents. A sham and a travesty. This is heart wrenching.
Exactly. Into Cousin Titos Landscaping
She’s a VETERAN!! This is sooo wrong!

THATS THE PROBLEM WITH MOBILE HOMES IN A PARK, THE PROPERTY IS OWNED BY A LANDLORD, AND THEY OFTEN SELL AND YOU HAVE TO MOVE YOU TRAILER...

What investments?
List them for those price's
They need protection from the state and/or county. This should not be for profit land.

$940. Would be great. My rent is going up to $1350.00 inJune. .
We need to stop funding able-bodied single mammies and use that money for our seniors. We don't have enough for both realistically.
$1,000 a month for a mobile home lot??
There's one down the street from me for $1400.00 a month!
Sad.😢
so the homeless problem is going to get worse, and sadly especially for seniors! Our government.....what DOES it do for the people????
@@juliettejamour5484 nothing.
Rents have gone up due to soaring expenses: taxes, insurance, utilities. Form a LLC and buy the park
That reply from the government guy was great politic speak
I think tennants should have the ability to purchase the kand its sitting on
How many closed and everyone kicked out then apartment's built. The land is what was invested in not a mobile park
Successful capitalists extracting profits is what we all wanted, why do the elderly and unable keep complaining?
