as a type 1 diabetic, people taking diabetic medication when they do not need it seriously pisses me off. I feel horrible for type 2 diabetics that are unable to get the medication they need. Diabetes is incredibly serious and life threatening when left untreated. Just like taking diabetic medication when you're not diabetic is life threatening, and will probably cause many negative side effects.
I'm not diabetic but I had three friends growing up with type 1. I've seen some scary episodes over 3 decades I've known them. One had an insulin pump in their hip area that I just thought was the neatest thing when I was younger. But anyway, I 100% agree with everything you say there. Maybe these people should have their thyroid checked, or just figure out if they just are lazy?
The drug is licensed for obesity, therefore people who are taking it with obesity (not celebs who are not obese) are taking it for a genuine reason. It's not the same as insulin. Yes, taking insulin when your body already produces it is dangerous but taking a GLP-1 agonist is not going to cause the same harm. For many people with obesity they are often pre-diabetic (insulin resistant) which is one of the reasons they struggle with weightloss. The side effects experienced by people taking GLP-1 for type 2 or obesity experience are the same because the mechanism doesn't magically change. Our body naturally triggers these receptors in our bodies but not effectively for people with type 2 or obesity. Hair loss shouldn't happen - this is because people are malnourished and now not eating enough. The same reason for the muscle loss. That happens due to not exercising to keep muscles. Vomiting also shouldn't happen. A lot of people jump to the high doses when not being monitored. If your side effects are severe to the point of constant vomiting, then the dose needs lowering. People who have suffered gastroporesis had warning signs but they ignored them because they weren't being monitored properly/too focused on weight loss.
@@raeraebadfingers And here in is the problem - people calling obese people lazy. Firstly, I think you have the wrong idea about what the jab is doing - it doesn't increase metabolism. So they should absolutely check their thyroid anyway because if the weight is caused by the thyroid, the jab wouldn't do anything. The jab reduces people's appetite and regulates insulin and glucose levels. This inturn allows people to eat less without the cravings and re-learn the problematic eating habits they have learned from being obese. Your body is already addicted to sugar and fat so you're very likely to relapse back to those foods without the proper support. Additionally, when you are obese, exercise becomes harder because you have more weight to move when you are exercising. Also once you have those fat cells present in your body - you have them for life. When they get to the end of their life cycle, like other cells, they get replaced. So unlike someone who doesn't have a large amount of adipocytes, gaining weight happens quicker because they already have the cells ready to store fat. Also worth pointing out that disorders of the thyroid are not the only condition which affects weight. PCOS, diabetes, depression (due to psychology and lack of exercise) and menopause are just some but then certain medications can also cause weight gain. I imagine you would never say to someone with MH "oh they are just lazy" so I'm not sure why people say the same about obese people who are genuinely trying to make a better change to their life. If GLP-1 agonists work and don't cause them issues, what is the problem? They are not taking them from type 2 patients because they were licensed for this purpose. The issue is the companies not making a proper stock even though anyone could have predicted their popularity.
@@raeraebadfingers I’m going to be honest, agreeing with the thyroid check but most people Taking it are lazy pos whose trying to find a quick “miracle fix” whose not thinking about people who actually need the medicine, it Reminds me of the pandemic all over again when people were hoarding diabetes medicine. If they can afford to buy Ozempic they can afford to go to the gym get a nutritionist, and have a meal plan in place. Some insurance even cover nutritionist. No respect for people glorifying losing weight on a diabetes medicine who could’ve been giving to someone who actual needs it. In our future I’m sure we will be seeing a settlement commercial about Ozempic for all the people who took it and didn’t need it.
My dad was on Ozempic for diabetes and it has been the best working medication for him, but he can't get Ozempic anymore because it's out of stock because of this trend.
That's what really stinks about this. People who need it should be prioritized, but let's face it, big pharma doesn't really care. They're looking for life long consumers and the damage this drug will do to those that don't really need it, will reel in more revenue for them in the near future.
Same for my dad. Even with a perfect diet his diabetes was unmanageable until he went on ozempic and it worked very well but then he had to ration it and eventually had to switch to something else that doesn’t work as well.
What’s so sad, is that these people would rather take the risk of dying, then exercising witch also helps your mental health, honestly they need that boost
Diet and exercise not only will help you lose weight, it will also help your mental health. Using a drug to essentially starve yourself is so dangerous and doesn’t help in the long run
I agree, but for some people, they could have insulin resistance, and it's hard to lose weight. I don't have my thyroid, and now, as I get older, I'm trying everything, even working out and nothing. I went vegan for 4 years and lost 4 pounds, and I watched everything I did. It's been aggravating. I wouldn't do ozempic because I've heard of the terrible side effects, and I'm not a diabetic. I'm open to healthy suggestions. Even my doctor is telling me that it's just hereditary. I agree to a point.
You don’t get it do you? It helps you lose weight as in you’ve still gotta diet and exercises. It’s meant for those who cannot/struggle to lose weight not the skinny bitches trying to be smaller
I’m on Ozempic, but I’m a 52 year old diabetic. I’ve lost 30 lbs, but more importantly my blood sugar and A1c have been normal on this med after having tried multiple others. But my insurance covers it BECAUSE the other meds weren’t effective. I have had side effects of severe nausea and vomiting the first few days, but it passes. Even with the weight loss, if it wasn’t effective I wouldn’t take it due to the side effects though. It’s pretty bad.
Did you have to change your diet in order to take it without getting sick? And if so, what foods made you feel most nauseous? Sorry to be so forward but I'm genuinely curious because I have the opportunity to get on ozempic myself.. And I'm on the fence because of the severe sickness from eating sugar or anything fatty. I'm also considering it for the weight loss benefits, I am not diabetic. I'm concerned I'll gain it all back because I'm not willing to change my entire diet forever lol. Making some changes is one thing, but it seems that if I have to change my entire diet to function on the medicine, once I get off I run the risk of regaining the weight due to not persisting with the ozempic diet. I reckon everyone is different and all I can do is try. I was just curious if it effects someone with diabetes differently than those of us that aren't diabetic. I've heard horror stories of people getting violently ill from taking two bites of a cookie. I know I can change my diet temporarily to avoid the sickness, but what good will it do unless I maintain that diet after stopping the medication.
@@maryjane4432I'm sorry to be so personal, but I am on Medicaid (McLaren Plan) and it appears my plan would cover it. So if you're eligible, is switching your current insurance to medicaid a possibility for you? It's absolutely terrible that there are people with genuine health conditions that could benefit more from this drug but don't have access to it. I'm truly sorry life has left you in those circumstances. That's not fair.
I've been a pharmacy tech for about a year and they actually started changing laws in my state so only diabetics can get it and they released new products for weight loss but we can't keep it in stock and get about 20-30 calls a day for people asking if we have it, which we're required to lie and tell them we don't so we have enough for our patients. It's a mess and so dangerous.
To clarify it’s not really new products it’s the same drug but with different dose and a new brand name. Wegovy is Ozempic aka semaglutide but will a higher dosage per injection and Zepbound is Mounjaro aka tirzepatide with the same dose differences. These drugs have also been expanded for other disorders like PCOS and they have some clinical trials for certain autoimmune diseases too so the group of people will change over the next few yearsZ
My mom is a diabetic and she’s taking another medication that is being used for weight loss. She had to go to several different pharmacies to get her medication. This pisses me off so much. There are people who actually need these medications and they cannot get them.
I feel you. When I was on adderall my ADHD medication would frequently go out of stock due to the DEA limiting production (they're afraid someone somewhere might get high, so people who actually need medication have to suffer), and because unethical doctors write funscriptions to whoever wants them. Its not so bad now that I'm on ritalin that is less in demand, but I've heard that people are now getting ritalin prescribed for, once again, weight loss, so that may not last. This system is busted.
@@swissarmyknight4306 lmao Ritalin and concerta (both methylphenidate) are just as nice to abuse as adderall (amphetamine dextroamphetamine salts). If you want to be put on a drug that won’t get put on some list then get vyvance (lysdexamphetamine). If you try to snort that one, you’ll still have to wait a good 20 minutes to feel anything. It suppresses appetite the least out of all of them too. If you want me to explain how it fails to work instantly after snorting, I can.
I was in recovery from anorexia for 11 years, I was put on ozempic for diabetic issues and I have been in the worst relapse of my life. 11 years of recovery down the drain. And I'm on dialysis for kidney failure (I'm 36, went on dialysis at 29,) caused by my ED, but it literally flupped a switch in my brain, but in a really bad way. I have gastroparesis already and it's gotten so much worse, I'm back on a feeding tube. Thank you for making this video, I'm tired of people sugar coating this medication like there's NOTHING wrong with it.
I’m so sorry to hear that ❤ I really hope you get better ❤️🩹 I can’t relate but my dad is also going through kidney failure not on dialysis yet but waiting for transplant. I really hope that the both of you can get better soon from the bottom of my heart 💞
the worst is that this is exactly what a pharmacist's job is supposed to be. It can have long term horrible side effects so I dont understand how they allow this drug to be passed around so lightly
It’s so sad how we went back to promoting eating disorder culture. I remember skinny jeans and hip bones of the early 2000s. Thought we got rid of the trimspa culture. It’s horrible. Now kids think they have to be unhealthily thin. The “body positivity” movement is a farse; we’re worse off now than we’ve ever been. Social media has also made it so much worse. Just be a healthy weight!!!!!
Omg . I had disordered eating starting at a young age leading up to very recently (32/F) . I was a chubby 9y/o , which isn't that big a deal , bc most kids grow a bit during puberty . I wasn't overeating and did soccer/ soft ball . My mom was scared that I'd end up obese bc most my dad's side of the fam is very (300+lbs) . Took me to a nutritionist . . . NINE Y/O . Then middle & hs come along with Paris H , Nicole R , the Olsen twins , Lindsey L etc . . . I thought that if I wasn't skin and bones I wasn't attractive . Looking back on those pics of them , I just can't believe they were my idols . I literally searched "how to be anorexic" when I was 13 . Sad af . Now I'm doing OK , still about 20lbs overweight according to my standards but I eat normal instead of starving and binging . ETA : I got sick and was bedridden 4 months (pancreatitis) , couldn't eat . They wanted a feeding tube but it kept falling out . They sent me home with Ensure shakes so on good days I drank one . Got down to 90lbs (5'1") and i looked HORRIBLE . It was ironic bc during my ED I wanted to be under 100lbs , but when I finally was , I hated the way I looked . Just bones , not at all attractive . I just want a healthy normal weight , and I wish that was the trend .
@@Miss.Lechuza_Chusma I was once bullied because of my weight at school. As I grew, all the excess weight went away. Surprisingly, I didn’t develop any eating disorders, I just began to eat junk food less often.
What’s worse are all the unrealistic expectations women face. Women are pressurised to look perfect . Young girls and women are risking their lives and having cheap surgery abroad . These celebs and social media ‘models ‘ use filters too
My problem with 'body positivity' was that it was entirely based on "fat people can be hot too!!" and not focusing on just being normal to them. It was never about health, every time it involves women/girls it never is 99% of the time. I refused to change in the locker rooms for gym because I know how judgemental and cruel women are even when you're just a bit chubby. When are they gonna realize being healthy no matter what that looks like is so much more rewarding than a bunch of random creeps being attracted to you and pestering you? Especially as a minor you should *not* be concerned about whether or not boys get hard looking at you, jfc
Completely agree. Insulin/glucagon balance is NOT something you want to experiment with all in an attempt to lose a bit of weight. Ozempic is a GLP1 agonist (glucagon like peptide). Glucagon triggers the release of stored energy into the bloodstream, whereas insulin takes sugars, etc in the blodstream and pulls it into the cells for storage. Wildly disregulated blood sugar can be a game ender. The levels of GLP1 that Ozempic is mimicking in healthy, non diabetics is supraphisiological (at least as I understand it. All of this post is from memory, so please excuse errors and misunderstanding). I believe the gastroparesis side effect is the paralysis of the digestive system like you would get in a state of fight or flight when you need to release a ton of stored energy into the bloodstream for use. Major sympathetic nervous system activation (which may be related to the anxiety side effect of ozempic). This is in comparison to a parasympathetic 'rest and digest' state where nutrients are broken down and absorbed in the digestive tract, shuttled through the bloodstream, and moved into cells for storage, repair, etc. Just a hypothesis, but I suspect the 'ozempic face' isn't just a result of rapid weight loss but is also caused by excessive and prolonged stress (plus the elevated levels of stress hormones like cortisol which cause inflammation and break down of healthy tissues). Weight loss does not equal fat loss. It also includes the break down of muscle, collagen, etc. Also, you are not absorbing the nutrients needed for tissue repair and regeneration (digestive tract is paralyzed...gastroparesis). This starvation style weightloss that occurs under heightened stress will make someone appear to age rapidly (healthy fat, collagen, etc in the face is broken down resulting in sunken eyes, sagging skin, grey coloring, etc). It is not a healthy look. Skinny does not equal healthy. There is also some evidence showing ozempic use is linked to higher rates of thyroid cancer, inflammation of pancreas and gallbladder, an inability to properly digest food after the drug is stopped. Just think of the health complications of having partially digested and rotting food sitting in the intestines for days on end. I believe this is where you get a risk of infection, sepsis, etc especially if the immune system is already compromised from being in what the body believes to be a state of heightened and sustained stress coupled with starvation. Totally expect those class action lawsuit commercials in a few years asking 'have you or a loved one suffered irreversible health complications from ozempic? Just call 1-800...'
Leave the drug to those who need it. A healthy diet and exercise is how you lose weight. Stop looking for a shortcut. This is coming from someone who detests exercising. I lost 30 pounds by brisk walking and eating healthy. Edit: After reading the comments I understand that some people need it because nothing else has worked and taking it is the only way to avoid health problems. I just don't think people should use it as a short cut to lose 20, 30, 40 pounds.
I agree!!! But with more people using the drug wouldn’t that reduce the price? Or maybe it would have an adverse affect on. In recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and am not tolerating the Metformin but I can’t afford the ozempic.
@@ClownWorldRebel That would make sense, but pharmaceutical companies are greedy, especially in the States. In Canada, it's $300/month, but is covered by employer insurance. If a person can't work, there are provincial and federal programs that help cover most of the cost. Are there other similar medications you can try?
also if people really have trouble, Wegovy is the one for weight loss and is still the same ingredient but I think you have to be obese and have tried dieting and exercise and stuff like that
@@ClownWorldRebel High demand means higher prices, as well as the possibility of shortages on Ozempic which taises the prices further. There's currently an Adderall and Dyanavel shortage where I'm at, and because I have ADHD and have not been able to get my Dyanavel, I've been having a hard time.
I have gastroparesis. Literally diagnosed. It just means I digest food really slow. It’s not awesome. I get a lot of nausea and have to eat lots of small meals. Digestion is a struggle. I have so much abdominal pain. This is what ozempic is mimicking and I can’t believe anyone (except those that are severely overweight that need it to lose some serious weight) would willingly do this. They have to take it forever and have fun with the side effects! I feel so bad for the guy that died from bowel obstruction because it can easily cause this! It’s serious! It’s not a miracle drug for people that need to lose 20lbs!!!! It just makes you full longer!
my mum isn't "seriously overweight" but she is a bit bigger, and she started ozempic a little while ago and she hasn't been this happy in decades. But there should 100% be a priority to people who need it medically, I just feel for her because she's had e@ting disorders and gotten very depressed yk?
@@user.sammyvanityfan yes, your mom sounds like a great candidate! I’m so happy for her! I think it can change lives but it needs to be represented better. Not a miracle, just a tool for those that need it. He vetting needs to be better.
@@flatripley I have mild gastroparesis and when I have a flareup, it feels awful. I know I would never take Ozempic willingly. I think people don’t understand what it feels like until it happens to them and they think that it’s a magic weight loss drug. Only when they experience these types of side effects do they understand. And getting off the drug sometimes doesn’t even fix the problem and they are stuck with gastroparesis.
Ozempic doesn't make you lose weight by paralyzing your stomach. It is the hormone that your body produces when you are full so just tricking your body into never getting hungry
Ikr. As a person who has been diagnosed with gastroparesis, I can literally never wrap my brain around someone taking a pill that mimics the disease that destroyed my life and left me with so much abdominal pain/issues. The drug literally causes your stomach to empty slower, which can have a lot of unpleasant side effects. Which is literally what gastroparesis is. Taking a pill that does that and not expecting gastroparesis as a side effect is crazy to me. No pill that mimics a disease should be treated as an easy way to lose weight or a trend. It will never end well.
I am diabetic, and I was out on Ozempic for two months and I maintained my weight. I didn’t lose a pound and it now has left me with reoccurring heartburn and I get hiccups at least twice a week. None of that happened before Ozempic. It did not lower my blood sugar at all either
Hey there! I work in a pharmacy on the East side of the United States. I can confirm that Ozempic in ALL strengths has been on a massive backorder from my company and others. I have seen so many people become extremely agitated at either the drive-thru window or at the front registers because Ozempic isn't in stock as well as other semaglutide medications (Wegovy, Zepbound, Monjauro, etc.). I have had a man throw a lit CIGARETTE at me at the drive-thru because of it. Y'all. This medication is meant for type 2 diabetics. That is why it is so hard for insurances to pay for it and why many people shouldn't be purely getting it for weight loss. The regular dieting and exercise works wonders for those who do not struggle with pre-existing conditions that inhibit the ability to lose weight. It's a matter of changing your lifestyle. Please, take care of yourselves, our bodies are not cars, we cannot simply repair them like machines.
No offense, but I find it quite alarming how apparently poorly informed someone who works in a pharmacy is on this topic. Firstly, semaglutide is the active ingredient in Ozempic and Wegovy (sold by Novo Nordisk) while the active ingredient in Mounjaro and Zepbound (sold by Eli Lilly) is called tirzepatide. Second, while the drugs are primarily intended to treat type 2 diabetes, BOTH are FDA approved to treat obesity in non diabetics. This is why there is a second brand name for both. Wegovy and Zepbound are the weight loss brand name for the respective drugs in the weight loss indication. Of course, the FDA is a totally morally bankrupt organization, and the 'approval' of these drugs to treat weight loss in non diabetics is an abomination. But that is a discussion for another day.
It’s crazy what people will do when in reality you just need to control diet and exercise. The mom saying she “just wants the best for her kid” why would you let your kid get that big anyway? I was a heavier kid, I had to exercise and diet to get to my goal, and yes when you’re a parent you are in direct control in what your kid is eating/doing. Just wanted to make an edit saying medical issues aren’t involved in what I’m talking about. I wish everyone well if you are currently/formally dealing with a medical problem.
That only is the case with little kids. Teenagers and older kids can get those things other places. my mom wouldn’t really buy the snacks very often, but my teachers would give them to me and I would buy them myself leading to me becoming overweight even when she tried to take them away. I tried weight loss studies and sports and trying to do different exercises but I continued to gain weight even though I wanted to lose it. don’t forget conditions that make weight loss hard.
@@maryjane4432 I completely understand medical reasons, that’s a whole different story. I’m very sorry that you had to go through what you did, diabetes is awful. Stay strong ❤️❤️
@@blackqweenmars I agree, it definitely gets harder to control what your children eat as they become older, but teaching them about the right foods to choose from and moderation is important. Chips/cookies/ect aren’t evil, but eaten daily without moderation will become a problem.
I’m a type 2 diabetic who has gastroparesis. I’ve had gastroparesis for yrs. It just means that your stomach is partially paralyzed and things move much slower. I eat much smaller meals more times a day. I ended up on Mounjaro, another injectable for the same thing. In under a yr I’ve gone from 220lbs to 120lbs. So it is helpful for those that need it but these people don’t. I also had never heard of someone dying from gastroparesis
My son has gastroparesis. His entire digestive system is paralyzed. He had 90% of his stomach removed. He has so much trouble eating now. I hope you're doing well.
I’d like to mention that, although it’s not usually used like this, some people who are using ozempic for weight loss also need it. I have a friend who was overweight to the point where she was diagnosed with liver disease. As a result, she needed to lose weight as fast as possible in order to ensure she would be able to live a comfortable life. Obviously most people who are using ozempic (at least, on TikTok lol) are using it for no reason whatsoever, but some who are using it for weight loss genuinely *need* it.
Also, I forgot to mention something. Another reason why my friend is taking ozempic is because, even with lots of exercise and healthy eating, she can’t lose enough weight. She has trouble losing weight, that’s also why she needed ozempic. She also tried other weight loss medication and it didn’t work for her.
I think the issue are people who are quite normal in size but want to be size 0 with no effort. Like the family eating the Christmas dinner in this video at 02:59. Two of the women look a bit heavier but definetly are not drastically overweight, and one of them already looks quite skinny. Yet all of them are on ozempic, at least if you believe the video.
@@Dinyo55 She's not lazy, some people have different hereditary diseases/issues. When these issues arise, they can cause a majority of things, including easier weight gain/slow metabolism. Also, you have to understand that this medicine is confirmed to be used as a weight loss drug, so it's not like she's using it when she shouldn't. It was prescribed to her by her bariatric, even. My friend has been exercising, eating healthier, etc, alongside taking the medicine. She is far from lazy; if anything, she seems more motivated and hard-working than the majority of us lol. With the medicine (alongside her exercise and whatnot), she has been able to lose over 127 pounds within 2 years. I would like to mention that she only used the medicine for 2 weeks, so it isn't like she was taking it anymore than was needed. If being used for weight loss, you aren't even supposed to use it fulltime, only for a week or so. These younger teens in the video are most likely using it far more than is needed (if at all), and they use it not because they genuinely need to lose weight, but because it's a trend.
Oh no it didn't come off rude at all. I was confused by the last sentence lol But I think I did feel a little healthier. Unfortunately I already don't eat regularly so I didn't get a reduced hunger benefit since I could survive 2 or 3 days with just a sandwich lol
I have type 2 & was given a variant of Ozempic, mine was a pill not a jab, and I'm REALLY glad about that because i took 1... Literally 1 and i had the worst night of my life. I was so sick, i thought i was about to die. No joke i was having major anxiety & panic attacks. i went to bed and could not get warm, i was shivering so bad. I was truly terrified, i was crying and afraid to turn off the light because i was going to die and i didn't want to die in the dark... I refused to take another, so i removed the pill from my meds tray. Then exactly a week later it happened again, i was sobbing and begging my husband not to call an ambulance, because i was so sick even he thought i was dying. Next day i wondered how it happened cos id not taken that medication... I had a realisation and checked my pill organiser and saw that I'd not removed ALL pills, only the first week. Since these two nights of hell, i still cannot lay down to sleep, i get major anxiety and feel like i will die if i lay down... Its been almost a year and i still have the panic attacks. Its so bad i cannot let my dentist lay me down too far, it's awful.
This is crazy. All you have to do is eat healthy and decrease your portions and you’ll lose weight. I dropped 95 lbs in 6 months just by cutting out sugar and carbs. I work long hours so I don’t have time to exercise but the weight still fell off.
Because they don't want to work hard for it they want something quick and fast to get skinny and lose weight even if they had a to deal with the side effects
It's not the rich famous peoples fault this is happening. It's the DOCTORS prescribing it to them! You can't just buy this stuff without a prescription. Doctors should be held accountable, it's straight up malpractice.
HOLD UP WHAT. U cannot blame the doctors here for several reasons. One being the fact most influencers are probably lying in order to get the prescription and that people are prob buying it off other ppl with it.
Those doctors will literally do anything for the right prices. I can't even imagine how much celebrity doctors get paid under the table for stuff like this. On top of that, the company that makes the medication is purposely not making enough. It's like they just have to make things as hard as possible for diabetics. Either they over price it or keep them on a shortage of medicine they literally need to not fall into a diabetic coma. It's insane. All these people care about is money, not our health.
I have a friend on Ozempic and another on the Ozempic competitor Zepbound. The first one has been throwing up daily for three months. The second one developed stomach ulcers that burst, and ended up in the hospital for 25 days with sepsis and a gastric tube. This stuff is rough.
By the way, they do both have Diabetes. To the drugs’ credit, their diabetes are far better controlled now, but the cost is astonishing. The second one no longer takes Zepbound.
Zepbound (GLP-1 and GIP) and Ozempic (GLP-1 only) are not the same drug and actually works slightly differently in the body. Ozempic is Wegovy and Mounjaro is Zepbound. Also Zepbound is only approved for weight loss not diabetes. It’s probably used off label but I just wanted to fill in some info.
I had cancer 10 years ago. Lost half my pancreas and became diabetic. Yea! I’ve tried many medications and doctor said he would try Ozembic but, cost to me with insurance is $1,500.00. People using this drug for only weight loss has driven price up and availability. Hope the dieter’s shuffle out all the side effects so maybe I can get it one day. 😒 Thank you Layze for taking up for diabetics. Love ya 💫💞💫
I’ve lost 30 pounds since February, and so many people wonder what I did to lose the weight- only to be in disbelief when I tell them I started eating healthy and exercise. 🙄 It’s crazy that everyone expects a quick fix for weight loss when those quick fixes are usually damaging and the results don’t last. Yeah it SUCKS to have to change your lifestyle that you’re used to. But it sucks even more to stay in the same spot that made you unhappy in the first place. Anyway, I feel happy, healthy, and more energized, and I wish everyone on their journey the best of luck.
ikr that's why there's harsh Montavion yes it sounds mean but it's not hard to get up and workout it's also good for mental health like I weigh about 89 pounds after weighing 120 and after I lost pounds it feels like a reward because u accomplished a goal of yours yes it takes long but it's all worth it in the end people need to understand u won't lose 20 pounds after one workout it takes awhile
I’m tired of ppl turning important things for certain ppl into a trend, that’s why it makes it harder for ppl who have disabilities or medical conditions to get their needed care. That’s like them turning allergies into a trend, or a disability into one, it’s disgusting….especially ppl who say “just fake your dog as a service dog so he can come with you” it’s disgusting..
bro my mom uses ozempic cause she needs it (she has type 2 diabetes) and it literally gets me so pissed when celebrities use it to loose weight. like just go on a calorie deficit and workout.
I feel like all those salads you see the Kardashians eating on camera is fake af. As soon as the camera stops rolling they down pizza and candy. If they were so healthy, why would they even need it???
My mom's cousin died recently. She suffered from diabetes her entire life, from the moment she was born until the moment she died. She died from it. The fact that she couldn't get medicine like this but a thin girl who just wants to lose that extra five pounds can... I'm disgusted.
A co worker of mine started taking this and she went from being so happy and smiling to always looking pissed and barely talking to anyone. She lost the weight so fast too. She looks sick now.
me too! I feel so bad too, they shouldn't use that as it is for medical purposes or at least was. this is like how when you walk into the bathroom and a bunch of b words are vaping and start shitting on you for needing to pee and get judged for it. Not related but similar I suppose
I'm someone who has gastroparesis without having taken a weight loss drug and it's seriously the worst thing. I've got it managed fairly well but eating is really not worth it most of the time. Apparently ozempic can make this condition permanent, and that should scare people.

What I found interesting about vocal fry is the insane sexism. Plenty of famous men use vocal fry but mysteriously, people are only annoyed when women use it.
@danyelleedwards4570 I hear it now that I saw a RUclips about it and how it started a long time ago. I tried it for about 20 minutes, and my throat hurt lol 😆 never again. Men or women, it's annoying. They are ruining their vocal cords.

One of which is unpleasantly horrible side effects i couldn't live with anymore. Fortunatly for now i do not need it for medical reason since i m not diabetic. as a type 1 diabetic, people taking diabetic medication when they do not need it seriously pisses me off.
I can’t get it even tho I’m diabetic bc of the wait list
@@raeraebadfingers I’m going to be honest, agreeing with the thyroid check but most people
Taking it are lazy pos whose trying to find a quick “miracle fix” whose not thinking about people who actually need the medicine, it
Reminds me of the pandemic all over again when people were hoarding diabetes medicine.

Oh, diet and EXERCISE, i thought you meant ozempic was the one helping your mental health.. got me worried a bit there 😭
I agree, but for some people, they could have insulin resistance, and it's hard to lose weight.
Love the shirt. Proud cat dad.
🙏🙏
I still can’t get it even tho I’m diabetic
I'm truly sorry life has left you in those circumstances. That's not fair.
That's great it is working for you, a good example of somebody who acually needs it!
It’s so sad how we went back to promoting eating disorder culture. I remember skinny jeans and hip bones of the early 2000s. Thought we got rid of the trimspa culture. It’s horrible.

Are there other similar medications you can try?
also if people really have trouble, Wegovy is the one for weight loss and is still the same ingredient but I think you have to be obese and have tried dieting and exercise and stuff like that
@@ClownWorldRebelhigher demand means higher prices. If people really want it they'll pay whatever.

Hi
That only is the case with little kids. Teenagers and older kids can get those things other places. my mom wouldn’t really buy the snacks very often, but my teachers would give them to me and I would buy them myself leading to me becoming overweight even when she tried to take them away. @boo_578 unfortunately..
Sharron and Kelly Osborn look like corpses from taking Ozempic.
Sharon had a lot of plastic surgery before Ozempic.
Sure do. So does Scott Disick. And others.
@@coolmomjj48 Scott Disick definitely looked more worrisome.
It's honestly sad! Kelly looks more like the corpse bride than herself, and she actually had unique futures
They been looking like that. 😂
my grandma has to take actual medicine like this for actual medical problems and this shit just pisses me off
my dad has to use ozempic for his diabetes, seeing people use ozempic for weight loss, is just disgusting
My mom has it and I feel the same
13:05 "I’m not a doctor, just a loser" reminds me of "I’m not a gr00mer, just a loser" 😭
COLLEEN 😭???
Has to be intentional somehow
NAHHHH
She is on it for life... Because she is lazy??? Okay.
@@Dinyo55don’t assume
As South Park said rich people get Ozempic, poor people get body positivity

Was it-
Did i make u significantly healthier??
Pardon?
@@heatherfocht1171 sorry if that came off as rude!
Was it worth it in the terms of health at least? Like did it make u healthier in a noticeable way?
Oh no it didn't come off rude at all. I was confused by the last sentence lol But I think I did feel a little healthier. Unfortunately I already don't eat regularly so I didn't get a reduced hunger benefit since I could survive 2 or 3 days with just a sandwich lol
That doesn’t sound worth it.
Some doctors are part of the problem, yes... but these medspa locations that are now popping up are also a problem.
You can buy this without a prescription haha. In the same way you can buy testosterone without a prescription
Thank you Layze for taking up for diabetics.

I remember when Layze was at 40k or 50k and seeing him at 555k is amazing he’s finally getting recognition 😊
