I don't think she's actually 19. I think she was referring to how she started using botox at 19 and now that she's older she "looks better". Apparently she's a registered nurse which means she had to go between 2 to 4 years to college before she was able to inject her patients. She seems to have TikToks about her injecting her patients for quite a while now so it's highly unlikely that she became a registered nurse when barely turning 17.

I'm a med student and i specialise in Family medicine and general practice not Plastic surgery but i can tell you the amout of people that were rushed to the ER because of botox or filler complications is shocking. I was in training and assisting this senior doctor while he was doing a consultation on this very young patient (18 years old ) whose brow collapsed so much that it was squishing her eyelid shut and her lip filler was injected wrong and it clogged a major blood vessel that supplied her top lip with blood and oxygen. This meant her tissue started to necrose (die) right in front of her eyes. We had to inject her with hyaluronidase which is a substance that will neutralise the hyaluronic acid filler in her lips. It was very sad to see because some of her tissue was already dead and she had to have correction plastic surgery togive her lip a more normal look but i heard that she's still left with a scar across her top lip and a small portion of it missing at the left corner so she can never fully close her lips. It's honestly heart breaking to see these cases because usually it's people younger than 35 who get these fillers even though they look perfectly fine

    • @dragonfliesnh4204

Wow, that's truly scary!! People don't always do their research before these things, especially when they are that young and think they know everything. Even if someone doesn't have a bad reaction at first, eventually it's going to ruin their faces and bodies when they get older.
The only way I would ever get plastic surgery is if something happens and I'm severely disfigured. But I won't know what I'll actually decide unless I'm in that situation. Hopefully I'll never have to make such a decision and I feel bad for those who have been disfigured.

It does have it's medical benefits. Personally, I think it should only be done at a real doctor's office or hospital, not at one of these so called clinics.

I went through over three years worth of steroids and all sorts of stuff, I was 10 when this started, my dermatologist had to go out of her way to approve these wipes specifically for my underarms which somehow cause my eyes to not dilatate. None of that worked the last resort was using Botox on my underarms, after waiting for over 9 months for insurance to approve 14 year old me to get Botox. Almost three years later i have been doing repeated appointments every three months. The fact that this woman is just promoting this like its make up is bizarre.

Dressing up like that and getting Botox and fillers used to be for women 30+ just to make them feel pretty as they age and social taboos sorta kept younger ages from doing it because there really is no need to try so hard so young but nowadays everyone wants to act like they’re grown by 16 and immediately obsess over “looking young” in a never-ending paradox that continues to ruin the natural beauty they have that they didn’t even allow to grow properly before trying to alter it 😕

I agree 99.9% with you saying the Botox is unnecessary in all the armpits to help with sweat. But I wanted to bring to your attention that it is very medically necessary for people with axillary hyperhidrosis, which is a disorder that makes your sweat glands over work and you just sweat like it's raining. There is very little treatment other than Botox. It's the most effective treatment that isn't medication or experimental surgery and a way to make your sweat glands knock it off. It's literally life-changing because there are so few treatments and no actual cure. Not hating/harping on you, just putting it out there for informative reasons.

PSA: Botox actually is medically approved to treat migraines. Don’t ever judge someone for doing this. It can also be used for people who sweat too much due to conditions (not just for people who don’t wanna sweat).
If you’re getting it as filler, just remember what happens when an obese person loses weight. That skin is going to stretch and lose elasticity within only a few times or using filler. We are seeing women who spent their twenties and thirties on getting Botox NEEDING facelifts because their skin is so stretched and lacks elasticity. You don’t need any filler or Botox period, but you certainly don’t need it before age 45.

Sweating is such an important feature of our body though. There are people who don't sweat as much or people who don't sweat at all and they are at risk of overheating, which can (in extreme cases) even cause organ failure. Your body starts to die while you heat up from the inside. I would like to know if a botox injection in the armpit isn't gonna end up messing with your ability to regulate your temperature naturally. That sounds so dangerous.
