I moved to Pahrump in 2020. Love the Peace & Tranquility which comes with distancing yourself from the hustle bustle of Big Cities like California where I spent more than 25 years.

I just landed an empty 0.2 acre residential lot in Pahrump for $7000 with the help of you guys. As a guy from Canada, I couldn’t have done it without these videos!
Check the soil for "poof dirt" before you plan on building.
Pahrump is quiet, less traffic but Ugly dry desert with total lack of culture, cheaper to live but a heck of a lot of dumpy old homes and beat up trailer parks between the more expensive homes being built, food chain stores and a few good little restaurants that go as fast as they come, dollar stores and dirty dive bars are in abundance, sorry to have moved here
I love Pahrump.
But we have no manufacturer for employment.

I'm a tool and Die maker by trade now working at Sunshine minting Inc. In Henderson. Also Dj and teaching line dancing at Wild side on Gamebird-6-7:30 Wensday Friday and Sunday come on by!

Awesome Every Town needs a Good Machinist. Ive been looking at Homes in Parhump but the PUFF DIRT, Drying Up Wells and the Water /Power thing is SKETCHY at Best.. What are your Thoughts about this?? Thanks 👍

PAHRUMP is like Vegas was in the 60's. Pahrump is growing currently approx 60,000 lower sales tax, no smog check, lower car reg fees, etc.

Being an old car enthusiast, I can't tell ya how many old antique cars for sale that I've seen from Pahrump on Craig's List and Face Book. Sounds like my kinda folks to live around. 😄👍
How’s the water(drought) situation in that area? Same as vegas?
Pahrump has a rapidly declining aquifer. I wouldn't buy property there.
My concern is that developers keep building new houses there all the time now (just like Vegas). Is there a stopping point in Pahrump where housing cannot be overbuilt? Or is the plan to eventually become like Vegas and take up every spec of land with housing?
I think everything will be filled with houses and it will be like Las Vegas. Humans are the worst plague 😅

just found this video.I agree with you about Vegas should expand to Pahrump. Vegas is building homes like crazy ,so close together ,they are crammed in, and Vegas is complaining about running out of space.I had read that they might expand to Jean ....but I see so much land going to Pahrump that could be utilized for building homes ,casino's etc. as our population grows there is a bigger need for housing and jobs etc. with all the hurricanes ,floods ,fires and tornado's , people need to be looking at Pahrump . thanks for the video.

Anyone considering buying land...look up the cost to put in water and electricity. Good Luck! You're looking at $30,000 and that's if it's possible. I wanted an acre in the middle of nowhere (but close to town) the city wouldn't even let me put a storage shed.

Basically the same. They might run a degree or 2 hotter than vegas

I have a half an acre in Pahrump and there are neighbors on both sides of the property and have been hoping to have somebody offer me a decent amount for it. We were offered I wanna say 40 or 50,000 maybe 15 years ago by some Filipino lady named Netty I think or Nelly, but most of the recent offers have been jokes. I know the “realtors “ only look in the public records and then try to find someone that’ll dump their property for nothing, but I know that a half acre is worth considerably more than three or $4000
If you have no well rights or electricity or gas already hooked up to the property it’s only worth a few thousand, if you have a well on it With electricity now you’re talking up in the tens of thousands
