My dad used to haul cars for the imperial palace casino in Las Vegas. I went with him to many auctions. I met lots of famous people and sat in lots of famous cars from the age of 8- 10 years old. So many memories! I remember sitting in a bond car with all the buttons and lights and sitting in a decked out Rolls-Royce that was for Liberaci
The redish car next to the two 64 Impalas is a 1963 Impala and the one behind the red one is a 1962. When I was growing up in the San Fernando valley in the 90s Impalas were all the rage, we had a 1966, 65, and two 64s! Also had a 1956 Ford pick up!
I went to The Stanley Kubrick exhibition in London and in the foyer of the museum was the Probe 16 which in A Clockwork Orange was the Durango 95 and seeing it in person was very surreal
Fantastic video, Michae! So cool to see Christine. I always thought that horror movie was such a sad tragic love story. The car was in love with her owner, and he had to destroy her because of her jealousy. Tragic! 😭
Never sees to amazing me on how beautiful this museum is. I was there last year and it was an experience if you like cars and also movie cars. Thank you for sharing your new and recent adventures in my hometown L.A.
Hey man I have been watching your videos for about 2 years now and I am so fascinated with your story telling skills, you truly deserve a million subs and I don’t doubt you will get them, keep it up !
Awesome, Martin Sanchez's Christine. I know him the same way I know Bill Gibson. He owns the backwards running speedometer too. He had sold light from the choking scene on eBay years ago and sold the rubber Plymouth hood emblem "Show Me scene" then too. He mentioned Virgil Exner & he was responsible for Chrysler Corporation's Forward Look designs including Christine. MIB3 like a Nautilus motorcycle. If I am remembering right the KITT is owned by Knight Rider Historians you can find them here on here on RUclips. Deezer They found the truck & trailer they are putting it back to show correct.
I have watched many videos on the Petersen museum, but as always of how you throw yourself into each and every video you yet again make it entertaining, especially loved the not seen before part in the vault with all the classic models and the Hollywood row.....
Too cool! I found out that parts of Terminator 2 were filmed in that building before it became Petersen. The scenes after John and the T800 are rescuing Sarah from the Penitentiary, they exit the elevator and steal a police car. The T1000 then exits the elevator and begins to run towards them. These scenes were filmed in Petersen, which was empty at the time. It is difficult to tell where it was, because a fake wall was created, but in the garage you there are all round pillars holding the place up, but there is a spot where you can see a square pillar. The fake wall was just behind that
I have to say... Christine was my favorite to see.❤️ There of course are others as well. Great fun video Micheal. Yes I too would have loved to see ecto-1 😊
Have you guys ever been in VOLO Museum, ? in illinois? plenty of cars from movies, like back to the future, batman, madmax, terminator, night rider :) I say you should visit :) plus spooky torture room.
The Peterson has such an extensive collection they have all kinds of super cool rare, one off stuff they even have screen used cars from roadkill now such an amazing place😬😬😬
Another excellent video man. They weren't selling tickets to the vault when I was there, so annoying but I did get to see ecto 1, it was parked where kitt is now, also annoyed I've didn't get to see kitt!!
Michael, Dezserland Park, Orlando has a Huge collection of movie cars including a special ticketed section filled with all the James Bond cars, cycles and even aircraft from just about every one of the movies. It also has not only the largest 007 vehicle collection but memorabilia collection as well. It's considered their version of the vault. Located on International Drive just south of the uppermost Outlet shops. Oh and one of the screen used versions of ecto-1 is on site. 😉
These cars are beautiful and it’s crazy that they still here in the museum. My favorite is Back from the Future car, Men in Black 3 motorcycle, and Elvis car. Thank you for this another great adventure and Happy Halloween.☺️❤️
AWESOME episode Micheal, I really enjoyed that one, I'm a huge car guy, hotrod's, muscle cars, classics, and motorcycles, choppers and such, great job Micheal, keep up the great work 💯🖤
Really cool Michael. I'm not a car guy either but a lot of those cars were beautiful. Growing up in the 80s Kitt was it for me. It's a shame Kitt didn't speak and say 'Hi Michael' being that your name is the same is Michael Knight.
You made my day big fans of you guys im obsessed with back to the future too but my disabilities from the iraq war and waiting for my son to graduate high school make it hard to get out there, would love to meet the grimlife team
The 1963 Impala with no description is called El Rey from Elite Car Club. It pays homage to the owners father in law who gifted it to him after he passed away. The car has been featured in car shows around the world including the Netherlands and Germany. It was most recently featured at the Rick Ross car show this past weekend.
I feel bad you didn't get to see the ghost busters car. My little story is that I did, when I didn't even expect to. I was on a bus coming home from midtown Manhattan, NYC. We had to take a detour one night which led us downtown. We landed up in front of their command center building. They were filming.. And there was "the" famous station wagon! As my bus passed it, it followed behind us and then next to us in the Battery Tunnel. We hit traffic, and it was at a stand still next to us for about 15 minutes. It was an older white station wagon with the props on top and a camera attached to the hood that pointed to the wind shield. It was great to see it in motion snd in person. About a week later, they filmed midtown and I actually got to meet and ask for an autograph from Bill Murray. Regardless of what people say about him, I found him to be the nicest guy, who took the time to make some small talk and gave me his autograph at a time when he was extremely popular. Granted, I was a very pretty girl at the time, so maybe that helped lol. We all didn't have cell phones at the time, so my memories are sadly just filed away in my memories. That was a good one. Maybe one day you'll go back to the museum. But call first to make sure they have the car...
That's amazing seeing that DeLorean in all of its glory. I once saw the 24 Karat gold-plated DeLorean.. there was only four of in the world made by visa and DeLorean...btw..... your camera angles are perfect ... happy Halloween
Wow wow wow awesome Collection very fortunate to see all those thank you for sharing and making this video I truly enjoyed this what a treat at home not feeling well loving that this popped up so worth it keep making these videos long time follower
Awesome collection of cars they have there and thank you for sharing it with us. Imagine the cars they don't let you see which I'm sure they have hidden there and in other locations.
Have you guys ever seen the Back to the future car here that’s in Orlando? It’s parked in random spaces , places ..a lot at Disney Springs in the garage with a tip bucket on it , LOL! LOVE THE 1966 BATMOBILE!💜. And of course the SHAGMobile, yea baby, yea! ✌️Happy Halloween!🖤💚🎃

Great video!!!! Just imagine how we could solve hunger in America just from the cars in the Peterson!!!! Lol. So much history and and absolute Beauty 💯
You guys are so lucky to go visit these places and get to see these famous cars. There's one car where she guys could see and that's the mad Max car. But I know it's only in Australia where you can see it. But this is awesome that you get to see these cars. I grew up watching these on TV and the big screen. And actually I got to meet David hasselhoff one time at one of the car shows when kitt was there
Honestly, I think the perfect car for you and Jessica would be a gorgeous, 50's hearse. The 3 cars I'd love to see....The Munster's car, The Monkee's car, AND, the car used in the movie, "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" that belonged to Captain Nemo. I loved seeing the Batman's, 60's Batmobile As always, great video
Yes.. League Automobile.. My life was blessed, working for the Ink N Iron festival in Long Beach CA... Tattoo artist, bands and classic Cars.. George Barris was cool, liked us for paying respect to his brother Sam, who actually built the car's, Batmobile, Munsters Car,, never got to see Drag Ula.. gramps's dragster.. Finally hanging with Mr Dean Jerries, Monkeys mobile, also built the boat..
anamorphic lens gets the headlight effect that stretch's across the screen in Christine
Awesome!!! My two favorite things cars and movies!!! Thanks!!!!!!!

Being invited to the vault is quite a treat. Glad you got invited.
That’s so awesome! The employee there also did an amazing job at explaining the significance of each car in the vault
I agree Walter!
sounds like Conan O'Brian...
The Mystery Machine WOW.Tony

Classic cars for classic movies. 👍👍
What makes that KITT car even more great is knowing that The Hoff has sat in it
Yeppers that's AJ's car from Knight Rider Historians
I named my 1979 Vauxhall Viva Christine. It looked nothing like Christine
They need the 1971 Plymouth Cuda from Phantasam!
Frankenstude was featured in an episode of Counting Cars
thanks guys the terminator bike is amazing
I went to The Stanley Kubrick exhibition in London and in the foyer of the museum was the Probe 16 which in A Clockwork Orange was the Durango 95 and seeing it in person was very surreal

I remember touching the big piece from the Titanic. Huge piece of hull plating. Bond cars are my favourite. Keep the great videos coming 👍
Really interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic video, Michae! So cool to see Christine. I always thought that horror movie was such a sad tragic love story. The car was in love with her owner, and he had to destroy her because of her jealousy. Tragic! 😭

Was hoping they had a stunt version or replica of "The Car" (1977), also a George Barris creation. Creepiest movie car ever.
The magnum car, that guy did not give it as much love as it deserves 🤩🥰😍🥴
OMG, I Want That Silver Mustang! Love Y’all! ❤
Press Pass... now that's the ticket! Cool cars and it was nice of the curator to give a tour of the famous cars too.
I have watched many videos on the Petersen museum, but as always of how you throw yourself into each and every video you yet again make it entertaining, especially loved the not seen before part in the vault with all the classic models and the Hollywood row.....

Batman 89 was the best ever, all except for Kim Basinger's screaming! 😳
Nice! I really love the older cars.
I'd love to go on one of your explorations before I pass. I'm fighting cancer.
I thought the tour guide was Barry Williams from The Brady Bunch. lol
