People are starting to complain about Khameleon and i hope NRS doesn't listen to the nerf requests. She has all the tools to help with certain situations and her cooldowns are very appropriate in my opinion. She acts like an actual character who helps your gameplan rather than someone who's just in the background, like what an actual Kameo is supposed to do in assist fighters
To be fair, her moves are just dumb for mk, jade glaive is a double hit mid projectile that extends combos, is safe on block point blank and even super plus if u can't interrupt the move; Kitana fan is a safe launcher, the fan lift gives armour for no reason and this makes random unsafe moves safe and gives easy throw combos to almost everyone; Mileena has an unreactable overhead launcher that has armour on wake-up and it is even quite hard to punish with all the pushback it has. I'm not saying she needs significant nerfs, just tone down the safety of the moves a bit so u can't just spam them and hope for the best
@@davidepanceri8192 Jade's Glaive goes away on hit and can be backward/neutral-jumped out of from anywhere except fullscreen. Kitana Fan can be ducked from afar or just blocked up close, where the person throwing it gives up their turn afterwards. Mileena's overhead is indeed unreactable, but is a full-combo punish on block, and since you wind up hitting Mileena, the combo does extra damage to the character. Khameleon's moves are strong, but nowhere near strong enough to require nerfs of any kind, especially when they're being used in the neutral. If you're fighting someone that is close enough to use Jade Glaive as a pressure tool up close, you've already lost the neutral battle.
@@mrAPchem I often use khameleon with mileena and if anyone back jumps the glaive it's a guaranteed ball roll against most characters and I can at any moment do a string into glaive, the guy pokes to hit chameleon I block the poke and have a guaranteed poke back and It's still my turn. The fan is a safe mid launcher up close sooo... poke special into full combo let's go!!! And the overhead is punishable yes but for characters with trex arm 1s and 2s it's way too strict of a punish maybe I'm bad but an unreactable armoured overhead launcher should be punishable by any move from any character in any situation imo
@@davidepanceri8192 That's a great counter to back jump after Glaive actually! But what do you do if they neutral jump or armor? About Kitana, yes indeed you can launch people safely - up close. But that is your reward for winning the neutral game and getting right next to the opponent. However, when you are in the neutral, Kitana's Fan is much more manageable. And then for Mileena, characters can dash up and use their 7-frame jabs to punish you for throwing out the Overhead. And as you know, many characters don't need to dash to hit you. I do indeed agree with making the Overhead much more unsafe so that people get hit harder for making the wrong read.

This particular skin causes no issues whatsoever and shows up in all modes except the cutscenes in Story Mode. That's the case with virtually all the mods in this game.
Facts, most kameos in this game are lack luster compared to khameleon. What makes khameleon so good is her variety and u get something cheap with each variation. Kameos like frost tremor sektor all could do with some sauce next patch hopefully

Yea also if they are gonna buff all the kameos they need to add more defensive mechanics like pushblock, airblock or whatever cause when they buff availability on everything it is necessary to have more defensive mechanics or else you will hold block forever
I can see that someone is a watcher of MK Tom Brady!! Tom's point about adding new mechanics would only be correct if every Kameo move kept its current properties, which I do not advocate for. For instance, Cyrax Horizontal Kopter would become much more readily available, but it could be made into a true high so that defenders could crouch block underneath it without getting hit. The move would become a potent combo extender yet not be used in the same manner that it was used when the game first came out as a non-stop block pressure tool. Notice, there would be no need for new mechanics to be added in order for that Kameo to exist, be available and good. Other Kameo moves can have their properties adjusted in creative ways so that they exist to do one thing well and nothing else.

Having said that, I don't see an issue with having a push-block mechanic added to the game. I think that possibility is being tested with Mavado and based on how it works with him, NRS will decide whether to make that mechanic universal.
I do feel like many other kameos like Sonya for example need new moves for more variety because rn the dlc kameos, Janet and khameleon power crept the old ones

Hey brotha do you know if anything has changed with the lay mods are installed? The mods I'm getting from Nexus don't seem to be working, tried a good handful of them. I'm pasting the files from them in the Paks folder the way you detailed the process in your video.
There is a file that you need to add to the MK12 folder first. I can't recall the name of it right now, but it's on Nexus Mods too, likely on one of the very first pages of MK1 mods. Add the contents of that file to your MK1 folder and you should see your mods. Also, that name of yours is hilarious and amazing!

YES!!!!! I fully endorse this position here. Khameleon is precisely what the rest of the Kameos ought to be.

@@mrAPchem Most ambushes feel slow compared to Fan lift and air sai. Khameleon just feels more engaging but maybe it's just the micro managing aspect
