you one of very few traveller that actually research about Malaysia before coming into the country. That amazing man. Very culturally concern too. Bravo to you.
Wow just wow Liam… i have watched all your Malaysian videos, you are among very few youtubers that done extensive research before coming here!! Loved it so much and some of the info quite new to us as well!! Kudos to you! Great job 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Jalan Alor originally to cater non halal foods for local Malaysian Chineses due to closed to China Town hence most foods are Malaysian Chinese or Thai. For Malay food the right place is Kampung Baru just a stone throw from Petronas Towers by walking distance taking Saloma Bridge (Pintasan Saloma)
Ah cool! Thanks heaps for your comment, I will check out that Malay food spot, I’ll do a food video for sure, there’s to much food to not make a dedicated video about it 😂🙏🏻
@@liam.richards Sure if you looking for South Indian food you can find at Little India at Brickfields next to KL Sentral, and many other cuisines eg Nyonya or Peranakan (fusion of Malay and Chinese uniquely Malaysian) , Mamak (Malaysian Indian Muslim), Kristang (Malaysian Portuguese mostly in Melaka) , other tribes cuisines in Borneo and each state in Malaysia has own unique cuisines.

Some information for you: Sultan/King = Head of the State (Paramount Ruler) Prime Minister = Head of the Government Even though we have monarchs, they are abide by the Federal Constitution. Malaysia practises parliamentary democracy with constitutional monarchy. These points are what I believe kinda different to most of the countries. Please educate me if I've mistakenly put the infos. Anyway, welcome to the Malaysia 😊😊
KL is not as hectic as Bangkok, but do enjoy the ♾️ pool. Btw, u should visit 🇲🇾 national museum. It is simple bulding yet informative of how this country was founded.
@@liam.richardsAdmire your general knowledge on Malaysia. Just a little bit, you are right about Malaysia being formed in 1963, with Singapore, together with Sabah and Sarawak in Borneo. But before Malaysia is being formed, it's actually Malaya that gained independence from the British on 31st August 1957. After Malaysia was formed on 16th September 1963, few years later in 1965, Singapore gained her independence from Malaysia. Before the formation of Malaysia, Brunei was also in the original plan of the formation but was confronted by Indonesia. Sabah also was confronted by Indonesia and the Philippines before successfully joining Malaysia but Brunei didn't join Malaysia.😀
I am Thai and I am going to Malaysia for the first time in November. I am thinking of KL and Malacca or Ipoh. Did you go to Ipoh? Will look forward to your other Malaysia vlogs.
Hello! You’ll enjoy Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur is just a ‘clean’ big city, the food is amazing, on a scooter it’s a very fun city to ride around. I just finished filming in malacca, that place is super interesting, that’s like the heart of Malaysian history. Similar to ‘Ayutthaya’ with Thai history.
The definition of Malay by the Federal Constitution of Malaysia; any citizen who is Muslim, speaks bahasa Melayu and practices Malay culture in his/her daily life is a Malay. Thus, by Constitution, any race that has those qualities is a Malay. But, this has to be differentiated with the term Bumiputera which includes only the natives, the Portuguese descendant and the Malaysian Siamese people. According to the Constitution, Bumiputeras are given special privileges (economic and education) in life by the government.
We know that to many bangladesh ...but it ok if they came legal working.. But there hundred thousand elegal foreing even they can live elegal for over 10 year and not thinking to go back to their country😂😂😂
Welcome to Malaysia. Do enjoy your stay. The colour of the Malaysian flag does not represent the Commonwealth. Malaysia found its independence in 1957. The other state in Borneo is Sarawak. Malay is a race. The rotation is to be the Yang diPertuan Agung. The heads of states are sultans or kings
