I can't explain enough how much I love this tutorial!! This was my first time crocheting a headband and I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to do it. I finished the headband while watching the end half of Wonka and it came out beautiful!! I didn't count my stitches correctly so I made mine slightly too long but it looks perfect regardless! I love patterns that allow a little human error but still look fantastic. Thank you for this!

I would suggest u to use stich marker to always mark your first stich. And also count the number of stitches at the end of every row. For example in this video we have nine chains so it would make 8 single crochet with 1 being the turning chain😊. hope this helps

Hello again! After trying some headbands with this pattern I tried something new (maintaining most of the pattern, just making some little fixes) and I want to share with you. (I only want help to help other people if they don't wanna sew and just make it in one piece)
    Here is the pattern:
    Begging:
Chain 39 (or the chains that you want)
    Add 2 chains
Skip 1 chain and 2sc in the last loop
Chain 1, tyw, 1sc and 2 sc in the last st
Chain 1, tyw, 2sc and 2sc in last st
Chain 1, tyw, 3sc and 2sc in last st
Chain 1, tyw, 4sc, 2sc in last st
Chain 1, tyw, 5sc, 2sc in last st
Chain 1, tyw, 6sc, 2sc in the last st
Chain 1, tyw, 7sc and 2sc in the last st
    Middle:
Chain 1 and 9sc (repeat until you want)
    Ending:
    Chain 1, tyw, 4sc, dec, 3sc
    Chain 1, tyw, 3sc, dec, 3sc
    Chain 1, tyw, 3sc, dec, 2sc
    Chain 1, tyw, 2sc, dec, 2sc
    Chain 1, tyw, 2sc, dec, 1sc
    Chain 1, tyw, 1sc, dec, 1sc
    Chain 1, tyw, 1sc, dec
    Chain 1, skip 1, 1sc
    Chain 39

    • @KatieGraceone
      @KatieGraceone Месяц назад +1

It's probably because you're using too small hook or you're holding the yarn too tight. You must focus on the tension when holding the yarn, not too tight nor not too lose.
