    this city was bombed by Japanese for six years continuously. now it's one of the most futuristic cities in the world. incredible development and amazing people. And perhaps that's why China also offered help to countries that were bombed like Laos for infrastructure... because the Chinese know the pain and how precious it is to rebuild a homeland. 🥺

    • @MeiinUK
      @MeiinUK 7 месяцев назад

      But Laos doesn't need your help to build anything though.... They aren't that capitalistic !!! And stop bulldozing every single historical artefacts.... Some have been kept the same ways for 1000 years. EVEN BEFORE THE JAPANESE WAR !!!!!!!...... Stoppit.

    You know why we Americans have never heard of it? Because the American media has been hiding the fact that China is getting more advanced in all aspects in tech, medicine, city infrastructure. The last 15 years have been incredible. Anyone who hasn't been to China in the last 15 years will not recognize many cities. It's time for Asian Americans to look in the mirror and recognize their own rich history and culture.

My older car is a 2013 Chevrolet Impala built in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. My previous 2 other cars were built in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. Some Made in China stuff are actually very good. Chongqing is a beautiful and majestic city. No matter where Westerners stand, China has made rapid progress. American here ... China is absolutely worthy of respect for the progress it has made and for its desire to lead the world into a better future. Anything the West accuses China of doing is something the West itself is guilty of many times over. The West has dominated the world for 600 years and it's mostly been an age of horror. It's time for something better.
      So my Chinese friend, don't be too concerned with the criticism you hear from Washington, London, or Brussels. Many of us Westerners have opened our eyes.

    A couple of years ago, part of the research I was doing for a book project, I was watching The Story of China with Michael Wood. Something that caught my eye without looking for it, I noticed how most people in the background, in the streets, that were incidentally appearing on camera, hundreds of them, were smiling. I told someone, things cannot be as bad as we are told they are in China when people display such a natural radiant energy. In New York, you can sense how the stress weights heavily on most everyone shoulders. Nobody smiles either.
