- China seems to have a fascination with glass bridges in crazy locations lol. This happens to be one of the highest at 4600ft above sea level, near the top of Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie. This is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the area, known also for its epic cableway that is one of the longest in the world! Let me know in the comments if you would walk on this crazy glass bridge!

Hello, I would like to recommend Huangshan Mountain in Anhui Province, China. "Huangshan Mountain" is a very magnificent and beautiful mountain, which is completely different from the mountain in Zhangjiajie. There are well-preserved ancient villages under the mountain, and it has been rated as a world natural heritage by the United Nations. I promise you will like it!
Thank you!

Today’s China is an impressive place to live, the cities and big attractions look fun and make the most of china’s natural beauty, great to visit too, good work showing this Alina ✌️❤️🇬🇧

I agree it's a impressive place to visit, but to live, that's a complete different story.

As a Chinese, Zhangjiajie-related video seen more, but never personally. I can't remember how many times I swore to my wife that I must go to Xi 'an. This year I made up my mind to go to Xi' an for a holiday with her. Zhangjiajie is also on our list.

在大山悬崖上弄玻璃栈道,只有中国人能做得到。其他国家就算有好的风景但是硬件不行
The jump footages are incredible.
I agree that it can be a little daunting to travel in China when you can't speak a word of Chinese. But once you have survival Chinese language, and know how to plan ahead to avoid the crowds etc, it's super convenient to get around!
You may consider translation softwares 😊
The last 30+ years, at least most Chinese can speak or understand Mandarin Chinese. Back in the 1980s and early 1990s, many different places spoke different dialects and the people in their 40s or even 30s could hardly speak Mandarin, let alone a foreign language, English.
In fact, it's enough that you have a translation APP!
But they will get soon the new AI translater and we be all set...😅
Good idea
When I was at Tianmen Mountain in January. The entire area at the top was completely snowcapped. It was like a winter wonderland.
It does look really beautiful in the winter!
Is it less crowded in winter
So, you do not believe the international tribunal of China organ harvesting conclusions?
If you do, why are you in China?
Reminds me of Tiananmen Square in 1989.
@@AhmetTekin101 how are you doing, my dear Sean giang
China is amazing
6:20 I saw a female warrior, the young lady with glasses. While supporting her elders, she kept looking under the glass bridge with a smile on her face. It was amazing!!!
Wow Alina these locations that you are showing us are just amazing. There is so much beauty there in China. Thanks for sharing and stay safe out there!
I was there in the Zhangjiajie Park area two weeks ago, with my 86-year-old dad. He might be the oldest guy there then. More than a few people who marvelled at the scenery also marvelled at him walking on the mountaintops, with a cane in his hand. Great experiences. Foreigners were few and far in between, but I did cross paths with Russians, Germans and Africans. In Canada now, but planning to go back there someday and spend more time there.
That’s awesome!
It is very hard for people from Canada to imagine the scale of mass of people in any given time and in any location in China not to mention in popular travel destinations such as this national park. I am so glad that you have made your trip to this incredible scenery location. I am so amazed by the infrastructure that have been built in many of the popular scenery and hard to get to destination. Because of this, people are able to reach to and witness some of the most spectacular sceneries and landscapes that you would not be able to get to them if there is no such infrastructures built.
Very true!
Sitting at Vancouver home and watching you showing Chinese wonders, lucky you ;)
Lucky me is right!
Stunning scenery, Alina! Enjoyed the cable ride up the mountain, walking on the glass bridge and the wingsuit flying. Thanks! 😊
It is stunning!

Thanks for the sharing👍 Tianmen Mountain is amazing. Few years ago, the Range Rover had done a “show” - The Dragon Challenge for which the Range Rover is claiming uphill the 45 degrees 999 steps successfully. You may still find that video on youtube. Interesting
Hats a great video. I climbed those steps and the range rover driver was brave to climb that
Thank you very much for sharing such a wonderful scenery & your experience with us 👍
My pleasure 😊
Hi Alina ! I love cable car 🚡 rides & the glass & suspension walks 👣 looked amazing. Once in a lifetime views & incredible experience. I'd do it for sure 👍
Please come. You are most welcome to my motherland and see with your own eyes. You will see the real China that it is completely the opposite of what western mainstream media lied to you.
Your mandarin pronunciation of the places are pretty good

Beautiful video❤❤❤
Восхитительное видео, Алиночка! Поражает то, что сколько людского труда и усилий вложено в строительство и безопасность этой горной панорамы.
That’s what impressed me most as well 🙂 incredibly hard work! Glad you liked the video ❤️
Hi alina. great video...those mountains ranges and rock formations are insanely beautiful. thank u for featuring it. travel safe...will be waiting for your next videos. cheers!
wow I saw this place in one of the transformer movies. I thought it was all CGI. I wasn't aware it a real place until now, just beautiful.
There is another film "Avatar" inside the suspended mountain scene from Zhangjiajie.
The place in the transformer movie is actually another place in Chongqing 😊
Nice to see you it’s amazing lots of love from Montreal
nice recorrido en esa montaña nice, gente , clima, areas verdes, bonita panoramica de las montañas y te miras bonita! con tu camisa morada ❤
Thanks for taking us along in your fantastic trip!
I went there with a Korean friend before pandemic, it was of the most amazing places I ever been to. Btw, I guess you missed the ancient town which is very beautiful and nice place just to chill and have a walk and there's another beautiful place with beautiful architure over there as well, forgot its name though. Btw, Zhangjiajie was the only place I got robbed, by two monekys, they even took my sunglasses and all of my snacks fruits. My friend even took a video of how one of the monkeys were eating my snacks on the edge of handrails of staricase.
Sorry for your robbery lol
There are 2 ancient towns near Zhangjiajie, Fenghuang and Furong.
Good nite Alina, always feel great to watch your videos ❤❤❤
I walked on that bridge 2 days ago! The cable car ride to the top of Tianmen Mountain was incredible.
Thank you so much for sharing...that glass floor looks intimidating 😂
Yes, with my eyes closed. I hate heights. The cable car at Banff is a good example.
Great stuff, Alina. Thanks. (Hello from Melbourne, Australia)
Well, that was pretty impressive the cable car, reminded me of the Maokong Gondola in Taipei which I thought was long, and it's 3 km shorter than the one here. The glass walkway reminded me of the Columbia Icefields Skywalk. So with the snow Alberta vibes keep happening. This was another impressive site on your China tour. I enjoyed this.
Now take a few days off damn it, you're a human being, not a content creating machine.
You know I’ve never done the ice fields one! And yes, need to take a proper day off 😅
This is amazing Alina! Thank you for taking us along!
You are so welcome!
Alina, you are certainly going places and China is a big wonderland of mystique, culture and nature. Am glad you get to experience first hand the wonders that China has to offer and at the same time, allowing us viewers to follow you along in your fantastic journey. Thank you.
I did cartwheels up on the main glass suspension bridge up there when I visited and still remember wearing those red covers over my snow boots in the December
This is truly amazing! Especially through the very skillful editing, the natural beauty has been vividly presented. Good job!!
Thank you! 😊
Hi Alina, if you did this trip last week, you've hit another Chinese national holiday the Qing Ming festival, when the most popular festive activity is to go some mountains.
That's why there are so many local tourists.
❤ always amazed about the people who built these
Yea, especially some of the paths that we built hundreds of years ago.
Thanks so much for doing all the walking , endless lines , etc. for us Alina - the trip of a lifetime for sure. Well done.

Really enjoying this China series. Thanks 👍
The longest cable ride? That itself is worthy of the visit. It is 7.45km long.
Thank you Alina for sharing all those beautiful videos.

Hello Alina thank you very much for take all FC traveling to THE BEST Tianmen Mountain, Zhangjiajie of CHINA. for everyone dream come true.
The views are stunning from Tianmen Mountain, The biggest challenges we had were navigating the crowds. The Chinese are very good in moving people in lines. The lines go quick.
Harriet and I would love to get back there and spend a little more time. Thank you for bringing back many great memories from there . Sending much love❤ from Harriet, Jim and Yuki
My pleasure! Their level of crowds is definitely on another level!
Absolutely stunning video - what an amazing trip. The glass walk was just "pain" for me to watch as I definitely would have had vertigo - big time! You, however, did excellent. Amazing places to remember for the rest of your life!

Thank you very much, David!
The cable car was a timesaver! I can only imagine how long a hike it would’ve taken you to reach the summit. That said, I’m in the same place as you about high places and what made me less jittery about it was the beautiful views, all the attractions and it must be said the glass bridge was the highlight of the experience. Alina, now its true given your impressions of Tianmen Mountain, with the limited time you have in China, you’re probably wishing you could stay longer and properly see everything the country has to offer but that’s not possible in your current circumstances. Still, someday you’ll probably return and show us more of it. Thanks for the video! 😊
I will definitely be back!
You literally went to great heights to capture these amazing natural locations. I imagine having a good pair of walking/hiking shoes is a must on these trips. Thank you for allowing us to experience this awesome journey vicariously! 😊

Great video! Love the booties for the glass walk. You did the reverse route that I did. Stairs were open I climbed up all 999 of them. Going down that gondola into the city at sunset was amazing and then explore and eat 😁😁

Alina, yes, I walked on that bridge. But I did not have any one to fall for, so I am still here. LOL!
Excellent footage ! By the way, glass or Silica as it is known (SiO2) in its basic chemical formula is such a diverse platform, and depending of the processes that we put it though, it could be very strong and durable indeed. For example, fiberglass is a derivative of glass which is used in boatbuilding, or Pyrex which can withstand high temperatures. Have fun!
Hi. Alina great adventures and great sight and enjoyable place. Thank to shared of your trip. Watched here at montreal. Take care
Thank you!
Amazing!!! I went on a tour 30 yrs ago where the Terra Cotta warriors were found and walked on a wooden bridge that was similar,
Thank you for the nice video!

The glass bridge, wingsuit flying and the views are amazing. Well done for surviving the trip without much sleep. It might be once-in-a-lifetime trip. Stay safe.

I'm technically not afraid of heights, but this glass bridge gives me immediate chills lol
Really?? I sometimes get light headed standing on a high balcony and looking down but somehow the glass floor did nothing for me lol
Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed it a lot. You are so brave!

Nice video ❤❤❤
❤ another great vlog thank you from Australia😂
IM NOW AT ZHANGJIAJIE IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL😍 DONT WANNA LEAVE
Thanks for the video Alina.
I was there after a rainfall with swirling clouds and it was absolutely stunning.
perhaps weather conditions spared you of the 999 steps 😅
you probably concluded by now, the best time to visit china is not seasonal but when you are young and fit 😆
Wow, just wow. Puts Banff, Jasper, etc to shame.
Fantastic video 🥳🥳
