I was in this crowd 2003 in Wacken my first InFlames Show ever, the start of visiting several InFlames Shows!

In Flames. A band I loved so much but now have no interest in. Only For The Weak is still one of the heaviest songs ever. Love it. All of Clayman is brilliant.
They changed wayyy too much. New stuff can't compare to Clayman, Whoracle, or Jester Race.
I kinda like I the mask album....lots of heavy stuff and their music got waaay more technical especially guitars....
@@stephenneil9345 I personally am kinda torn. Because my opinion matches nobody. I dont mind clean vocals at all. But I miss the style they had back then. I can't really express it properly because I dont listen to a lot of metal let alone music.
Man one of my favorite InFlames songs... but it sounds so neutered in this version. Speaking of missing shows, I used to go to like 2 shows a week for years when I lived in Vancouver and it just sucks that I cant go to even half that many anymore.

We are slowly opening up with a few solo gigs with limited crowd in a couple of weeks. Feels like going up on bike since really long time and gives a lot of anxiety. Still wouldn't mind being next to guy who have been allergic to water for whole 20 years of covid-period.

No one, and I mean no one, loves In Flames as much as I do and I think this is one of the 3 best songs ever written. Having said that, please don’t ever listen to the remastered version of this song. You’ll feel like everything you’ve ever known is a lie.

Unfortunately Anders' voice was battered in this one so couldn't scream. Think he got cold or was worn out from touring, no clue. If you want best live performances from In Flames, then anything from Sticky Fingers, Hammersmith and Rock am Ring 2006.
Try Chosen Pessimist live too. Probably best live scream I have ever heard in it. Great emotional song with amazing perfromance.

noticed you guys haven't really done much industrial tinged electronica metal from norway.....if you follow dimmu you might be aware of this band, it started out with members of dimmu, so yeah the keys are so contagious in this band and they can fuckin rock when needed too.. check em out i'm sure you will enjoy!

Love the old In Flames, if you gotta do some more, it should be from their first albums "Lunar Strain", "The Jester Race", "Whoracle" or "Colony". Like this song on the album, but his more "clean" vocals live here, is just horrible!!
You should also take my request on patreon from former guitarist Jesper Stromblads former project: Dimension Zero and the track "Through the Virgin Sky" from the ep. Because that is the original and best.
Friden's vocals are not the best on this record.
Why didn’t choose a better sound for example in Hammersmith or used to abused
In Flames might be the best band at butchering their own songs live.
The band plays great, but the vocals are absolutely horrible. Like a 13 yo trying to sing metal for the first time.
Anders voice sucks. The sound from the synthesizer sucks. The guitar sounds weak. Drum and bass is ok.
OMG this version sucks.
