Yep, also bass in Desecrater/Ceremonial Oath with Oscar Dronjak of Hammerfall on guitar/vocals. Jesper also played in Dimension Zero, Sinergy, The Resistance.
Funny how the comments are nostalgic for this. Back then when this song (and album) came out, most of the metal world was bashing the hell out of it. Calling the band N’Flames etc. I loved the album from the start, but wasn’t a fan of their overall direction since then.
Have you guys done Trigger yet by In Flames? that's a sweet song. They have been opening their shows with that keyboard line for a while and right into Cloud Connected
This was the song that got me into In Flames. And I was lucky enough to watch them perform it live at Wacken 2018. Completely blew me away, the show they put on for this song.
First song from In Flames I ever heard, so long ago... They've carried the title for me as favorite band of all time, with my favorite song of all time, "Satellites and Astronauts".
It's crazy because I was listening to this old track from In Flames for the past week, and now your listening to it, wow! Everytime I'm listening to a band someone recommends you it😂, great reaction!
I miss old In Flames, old In Flames was and probably still is one of my favorite bands of all times. Remember rocking hard to this back in the days, and i'm happy and proud to have seen them live several times in their "prime". Please do more old In Flames, great reaction btw :)
Their cover of World of Promises got me hooked in high school(probably cuz originally a pop song) and years later when I got back in touch with my metal roots I just lookup in flames and filter by views. Cloud connected was the top song and it's been my favorite ever since. Usually trips down memory lane you look for your own personal classics and are bias for those over what you do not know, but THIS RIFF IS SO DAMN METAL...
This is one song that is timeless for me. It's still one of my favorite songs... ever. It never gets old. I had this CD when it came out and I wore it out.
Hi Pedro and Antonio, Blankfile here. This is the album that conducted me into metal at the time of its release in 2001. I leterally love this album and this band was one of my favourite once (of course i still love their early albums untill STYE, i might say).
Great song, great album! The follow-up 'Soundtrack to Your Escape' is also slammin'. They had a rough ride after that for a long time but, the newest album is fantastic. 'I Am Above', etc. is definitely a return to form for them.
To me, this is like the best fucking In Flames song. It just holds a lot of sentimental value for me in that nostalgic sort of sense. I can remember where I was and who I was with when I first discovered this absolutely fucking awesome band. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
yoooooooooooooo this is the song that got me into in flames back in high school, i went to download like all their albums back then and it was like over 100 songs after everything lol, old in flames are so good. this song basically got me into metal cause it was the like the only metal song i listened to before getting more into them.
I've never seen them live, but one band covered that song live and it was one of the best mosh pit experiences I've ever had. It was kinda hard to decide whether I should concentrate on the mosh pit or sing along to the song (cause I know the lyrics and I really enjoy it), but that only made it funnier.
i once saw a counter strike frag video cut to this track and went to a music store and searched for the album -> 2006 and still one of my favorite bands
You should check out Ola Englund’s comments about this early 2000s era of in flames; the ”old” in flames, as you put it 😄 of what i’m refering is on his FAQ #118, starting about 21:22 ruclips.net/video/_7Cj9P78Lq4/видео.html
Not bad, but nothing comparable to any songs of the Whoracle album, you haven't done any of that album, it's mandatory to hear Jotun and Episode 666 :)
Oh man I miss old In Flames. One of those bands that finally got me in to melodic death metal and from there even further. Haven't listen the newer stuff at all, it just doesn't hit the right way.
That is, 2 old metalheads, who have merch with the most old bands in each release, have never heard one of the most popular hits of the 2000s of a very popular metal group?))) SERIOUSLY? I'm waiting for the first reaction to the master of pappets and enter sendman)))))))
You've reacted to Pär Hulkoff before, so how about him doing some country rock (Bourbon Boys-Don't Tread On Me): ruclips.net/video/FavHKoX1wUk/видео.html Or maybe some Industrial Metal (Raubtier-Högt, Fritt och Blött): ruclips.net/video/RPC7H1o0JXs/видео.html
Old in flames kicked major ass. I miss them.
they really did
But...you dont consider this being old in flames do you ?
@@uturkaos When I say old in flames, I think about albums like Jester Race, Lunar Strain, Clayman, etc.
@@kintz_matei fuck yes my brother :)

That riff is impossible to get rid of, I've tried for twenty years and it's still in my head................
This is the first melodeath metal track I heard, and it's still one of my all-time favourites!
same...the album and this song in particular was my introduction into metal. I still get the chills from it!
Such an iconic melodeath song!
Once upon a time In flames were 💯🤘

They're great, seeing them in April
I am a simple metal-head. I see in flames, i hit like.
My favorite song from In Flames. Reroute To Remain was my intro to them.
Always get chills down my spine listening to 'reroute to remain'...I really miss the old sound and band lineup they had at one point.
Jesper Strömblad even played drums in Hammerfall in the 90s
Yep, also bass in Desecrater/Ceremonial Oath with Oscar Dronjak of Hammerfall on guitar/vocals. Jesper also played in Dimension Zero, Sinergy, The Resistance.

Any band can do harmonies, but no band does it like In Flames. It's so special every time.
Funny how the comments are nostalgic for this. Back then when this song (and album) came out, most of the metal world was bashing the hell out of it. Calling the band N’Flames etc. I loved the album from the start, but wasn’t a fan of their overall direction since then.
Ah this song was and still is amazing.

hard to believe you didint' knew this one haha
nice reaction :)
Heard this on Headbangers Ball 2, back when MTV and CDs were a thing. 2002 I think... Still love these guys
This was the song that got me into In Flames. And I was lucky enough to watch them perform it live at Wacken 2018. Completely blew me away, the show they put on for this song.

Saw this live as In Flames open for Judas Priest.. not my #1 band, but the gig was a heavy hitter for sure.

1:20 there's two type of headbangers : the halftime, and the full time lol. great content, keep it up
"You go first. I need to gather my thought"... *Keeps on speaking for 107 seconds*. In flames can do that to you.

In Flames react = instant like
Great throw back! You gotta do more!! (Soilwork, Darkane, Mercenary).
This was my introduction to In Flames. Heard it on a Bangers Ball compilation. Way back in 02. Too bad half the band isn't there anymore.
