0The only reaction video that counts! This is the best Anders has ever sounded with his harsh vocals. Not the constant highs which could be really grating on the ears, much better ranges. Seems like he’s finally learnt to look after his voice too. Seen them live so much & live he’d gotten progressively worse.
That goes without saying, but when I look at sound, design, production, vocals, lyrics and guitar/solos, no album is better in the last 20 years. Not to me at least.
Hi guys. Could You react to Polands technical death metal legends Sceptic- All I can devour video from their new album. Would mean a world to me. Thx🤘🤘🔥
My biggest problem with the last two albums was the production. It felt flat and emotionless. The drums had very little weight where there use to be some. The snare sounded like a hitting a piece of paper. So i’m glad this album is a lot better in that value. To me the worst album they ever put out was Battles. Anders over produced vocals absolutely ruined it for me. I, The Mask was a move in right direction, but was flat production wise and had a Battles side that I didn’t like. Forgone is a definite good mix of new and old and has a lot better production. I can actually feel atmosphere of the songs. The drums actually have weight and Anders vocals don’t want make me pull my hair out. I’m definitely looking forward to this album. Just hope i’m not burnt.
I also believe that the fact we now have Halo Effect also had a huge impact on Anders and Bjorn. They are the only two members left of the old In Flames and both are not even from the begining. With Halo Effect basically ALL being passed In Flames members and them making some big headlines in the metal world. This has got to have sparked a fire inside Anders and Bjorn to explore their past sounds. Not that I think there is any animosity between them, I believe they are all still great friends. But I think this deep down got them thinking much harder. The pandemic gave them more time, the formation of a band full of your old members (and your founding member), a new guitarist, a more metalcore focused drummer all helped bring us this soon to be classic album.
Sorry but I do think that The Halo Effect had an impact on this record...and not on a bad sense...you know competition is always good for the quality of the products ;-)
Respectfully guys, i have to disagree. I think the halo effect absolutely gave in flames the inspiration they needed to get back on track. Because in my honest opinion, everything after clayman is garbage, ONLY IN MY OPINION. So hearing this is refreshing. And this is coming from someone who just started listening to this band last September.
@@Leaf4IF actually no I didn't. Like I said, I started listening to in flames last September. When I noticed the drastic change in style after clayman I lost interest. When I saw the halo effect had the singer from dark tranquility and read that they were a supergroup made up of the pioneers of Gothenburg melodeth, I assumed it was made up of members of dark tranquility, in flames, and at the gates. I thought I read that in an article. Turns out I was mistaken. Regardless, I still believe that the formation of that band and their return to the OG sound absolutely had an influence on why in flames went back to their original sound for this project.
Dont overlook what Tanner brings to the table aswell. Nothing against Daniel, but Tanner is on a another level imho.

Is that Chris Broderick on the solo guitar or are my eyes deceiving me?
Thats him
@@APREACTS I'm buying the album immediately
Fuking song what is this🔥🔥🔥🔥🖤
Old scool inflames 💯
0The only reaction video that counts!
This is the best Anders has ever sounded with his harsh vocals. Not the constant highs which could be really grating on the ears, much better ranges.
Seems like he’s finally learnt to look after his voice too. Seen them live so much & live he’d gotten progressively worse.
Best album of theirs in 20 years? Come Clarity came out in 2006
I can understand saying "this is the best album since Jesper left"
That goes without saying, but when I look at sound, design, production, vocals, lyrics and guitar/solos, no album is better in the last 20 years. Not to me at least.
I like this album more than Come Clarity.
This is fucking sick :D
Hi guys. Could You react to Polands technical death metal legends Sceptic- All I can devour video from their new album. Would mean a world to me. Thx🤘🤘🔥
Old Anders perfekt singer🤩🤩🤩
You are psycho fans of In Flames guys 😝
I definitely believe this will be the best since Come Clarity.
This album was recorded before anything Halo Effect released anything.
Pedro, eu nao curti as partes limpas ... sorry gosto mais dos anos 90 deles mas percebo😎
really trying to like them again, but Reroute is when I checked out.
Sorry but I do think that The Halo Effect had an impact on this record...and not on a bad sense...you know competition is always good for the quality of the products ;-)

React to metallicas new song screaming suicide
lyrics on the chorus were kinda cringe
Respectfully guys, i have to disagree. I think the halo effect absolutely gave in flames the inspiration they needed to get back on track. Because in my honest opinion, everything after clayman is garbage, ONLY IN MY OPINION. So hearing this is refreshing. And this is coming from someone who just started listening to this band last September.
You realize the members of the halo effect were the other 4 parts of the band that made those "garbage" albums don't you?

@@WreckInSilenceRecords Mikael is the original vocalist of In flames
I stopped listening to them after sounds of a playground fading, I'll trust you and pre order that, I hope I won't be disappointed
