An easier name for the ICM-M is "Koploper" (pronunciation: kohp-lohp-er) edit: uhhh... This blew up, Seven likes in THREE HOURS, WOT??????? 😲
Kop is dutch for head and loper is a waiker, so Koploper = head walker from when these had doors at the front and you could walk though them.

You forgot to added a german Locomotive behind the back Oliver, remeber when you dit a review of the db br 182 music train? I gues you never notice it but if the controll car cant move behind a eletrick engine then the hole train wont move, it only works if you put a german eletrick Locomotive behind it and then it works!
And from this moment, Lazerjet hated the Netherlands. You beter not!
think it didn't work because you dont have a locomotive in the formation. If you added something like a BR 193, you could drive it from both ends.
You can just disguise a German loco as a coach on the train
Lazerjet, you can actually use this train with this livery if you spawned a German DB loco and coupled it to the rear of the train. I know that would not be very realistic, but the train would still go.
Fun fact, the ICMm or the Koploper was actually sometimes called the "NS boeing"
I have to give the British trains some credit because they just look amazing especially the Flying Scotsman train
History repeats itself.... A German model train company called "piko" did a similair thing in thre late 90's where they painted east German double decker coaches yellow with NS logo's on it and called it a day. They looked pretty crappy.
Oliver: many double deck Dutch trains were push-pull, usually with a French-made BB 16000 loco or, more recently, a class 186 ( to a DB BR 101) design. Your video is far from a disaster; in fact, it has been inspirational.
there is a powered version of these double decker trains (not in tsw)
there are Dutch Lokos witch pull Doubledecker cars

I’m also making Dutch reskins for the upcoming route as well! It’s a shame yours didn’t work out, but maybe you can try making the NS Class 186 to either push this one from the back or pull a set of matching coaches
Bro (maybe) realized the concept of a “cab car”…
Also he could have made a livery for the BR 186, a loco present on the game and actually used by NS (the national train operator of the Netherlands).
Just remove one cab car and replace it with the BR 186 and you can drive the train from both the loco or the cab car.
Ps: you can’t drive something that takes power from a loco without a loco…😂😉
0:34 I honestly agree that it looks like a 747
he's driving it without the rear locomotive attached to the back, and that's not going to work. a rear loco is needed, because its the loco that delivers power to the driving coach and power the motors. A driving cab alone will not draw any power, and thus no movement.
For me it was'nt it a waist of time, because im from the Netherlands and want to see somewone wo did this. Thanks for this video Oliver!!

tip:reskin a db class 101 in dutch and then go to formation creator and get the coaches and then add in the db class 101
or a siemens vectron

I really like this, but I feel like the blue stripes should all be connected in a wavy pattern like the DDZ and VIRM have. Oh and it should be in the same configuration as the German Dostos and the former NS DD-AR, with a Vectron or Traxx at the front.

You're mainly screwed because you need the original locomotive OR a french locomotive called "nez cassé" wich is not available too BUT... I said BUUUUT, you can add a Vectron at the back to look a little bit nicer like a double decker pulled train in belgium (OOHHH my english is poor sorry)

There are 3 steam trains in TSW4 as far as I know, called The flying Scotsman, LMS Jubilee and LMS Stainer (I think) but I don't think there is any new steam trains in TSW5, Flying Scotsman can be brought as a separate addon and The LMS steam trains come with the Liverpool lime street route
Oliver, when TSW5 comes out can you reskin a 390 pendolino into the Virgin Trains East Coast livery (Not the same as the original livery)
You could make the db br 146.2 the same livery as Dutch intercity train

Those trains do work but the only thing is types like those don't go anywhere with 2 cabcar units on both sides they are pretty much pointless if you have 2 cabcars on it because they don't have an engine, motor or pantograph so you need another train engine (engine on its own) that does have an actual engine, motor or pantograph onboard to get it going because without you can't really go anywhere with it tho the livery does look cool in that colour I will give you that but like I said earlier it's pretty much pointless without an engine or Just 2 cabcars because it doesn't have a motor onboard it's required on those type trains to get it moving and it goes for the same in real life too they need engines with motors or an actual engine they are built like that because it's a push-pull train they act like rolling stock they are not built to have an engine or pantograph on it because of how round the roof is at the top of the train

I always hate to see when youtubers don’t do any research before they upload a video, you could have made some normal coaches as ICM and these Double deckers as a Virm Or DDZ, but even then it looks nothing like it. Sorry to say. No hate towards you. It’s just sad to see as a dutchy

A, there is no "dosto" pantograph car and B, it is pantograph not pentagraph, a locomotive is needed to power he "dostos" (dosto is a name for these coaches)

🤦♂️ I swear lazerjet only knows steam locomotive and knows nothing else. How did you not know that these carriages are well just carriages and a cab car at that. Like at least hop on to a German route to see that these carriages are being pushed or pulled by a locomotive.
