Yes, the PRR(Pennsylvania RailRoad) S1 is from Pennsylvania. It was built in Altoona, PA in 1939 and was so big it was limited on what lines it could run because it couldn't traverse most of the railroads tight curves.

The S1 & the Hudson fighting for position reminds me of the real life events, the Pennsylvania RR & NYC tracks ran paralel to each other, they were big rivals, till they merged into Penn Central and everything went Downhill

This is a suggestion I had a while ago on a stream, no idea if anyone remembers but it’s amazing to finally see it
I see that these locomotives seem aerodynamic because I see that the thing is aerodynamic and the steam comes out like a very fast steam train.

We could beat the steam speed record if we really wanted to. The S1 and Hudson winning proves that.
S1 and Hudson were at the limit of their engineering though despite the streamlining, plus mallard has a somewhat falsified speed record as not only did it go downhill for the record, it also blew out one of its cylinders shortly after passing the 120 mph barrier, while hudsons ran near this barrier with passenger trains daily.
@@mokou2526 I've never believed in Mallard's record. The PRR's T1's were allegedly observed operating at speeds of 140 mph on regular basis, so I think 5550 (the New Build T1) could beat the record.
@@TrainsAreReallyCoolthe S1s 156mph run has had some new evidence emerge that leans towards the possibility of it being true, the stopwatch times paired with the fines that they were given due to them breaking the law
The devs should add a shake like effect when viewing the trains near the track similar to like for a horizon when the car falls the camera shakes, it would like make you feel the trains weight moving at that speed

I would like to see the DRG Class (DR-Baureihe) 05. Specifically a version of 05 002 with the same power output as the 05 003 and the original 20 bar-pressure boiler.

🚂I really agree, The Hudson and Mallard bested each other in Different races and also City of Truro was Faster then the Mallard and the PRR S1 was catching up to Mallard in a race but the race track was a bit short but now that it’s longer, The S1 Will finally beat the Mallard, First it was the Hudson and Now for the Mallard, besides The S1 Duplex did claim 156 Mph faster then the Mallard😆🤣

It had the tbh beacuse the game sometimes didn't want to work with the British Locomotives (idk if it's just UK or maybe other countries as well)

Yup the airsmoothing was used to allow the locos to be washed in the carriage washers rather than for speed and streamlining 😊
