    0:43 that train is a breeze for it.

    The German loco is an unfair pick compared to the other ones.
    It was produced in the 50s and already retired with DB in 1988 so she is SIGNIFICANTLY older and thus underpowered compared to the other diesels.
    I would suggest to use the DB class 218 or 245 next time.
    These locos are way more powerfull and modern and deffinitly better the the V200

  • @BenStillDraws
    @BenStillDraws Год назад +14

    @LaZeRJET The 4 main freight companies here in the states are Union Pacific, BNSF, a merger of the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe railroads, CSX, a merger of Chesapeake and Ohio and like a million others, and Norfolk Southern, a merger of Norfolk and Western and the Southern to keep up with CSX’s growth. Speaking of N&W, you should do a freight race between a N&W class A or Y6b and the Big Boy. I think that would draw in quite a crowd.

  • @ManofthaMountain
    @ManofthaMountain 7 месяцев назад

    The thing is that germany kind of skipped through diesel locos and just went from mostly steam to mostly electricity. Also, the german diesel engine is from the early 1950s, and although the class37 is just 20 years younger, it is still kind of unfair to compare them to each other, let alone a new diesel loco like the american one.

    The main railroads in America are BNSF, Union Pacific, CSX and Norfolk Southern. There’s also Canadian national and Canadian pacific which both run mostly in Canada but do have territory in the US. and Kansas City southern which runs down to Mexico. although CP and KCS have recently merged. There’s not much of a difference between all of them. They all defer basic maintenance and work their employees to death. Union Pacific might be a little better since they have a steam program. I’m not sure if any railroad in Europe have steam programs but for those who don’t know it’s basically where a railroad keeps and operates preserved steam locomotives that they used to own on their mainlines.
    I don’t think it’s fair to hate them all. I blame all of their actions on the people in charge not the company itself. So I think it’s alright to like their paint job.

    Edit:
    11:45 well most of the class 1 railroads in america are kinda.... well not great, most of thier decisions are "LITERALLY" stupid. Class 1 Railroads in U.S try to do one man crew by just one excuse "they have Positive Train Control (PTC), we have modern technologies that could do the conductors work", and some other things
