SAD Dodge days ahead... keep Electric" i will walk first" & drive my hemi until no gas station left..
best muscle car run ever and we lived it . for the history books 5.7, 6.2., 6.4
Yes, sir!
6.1
Don't forget the 6.1
In 12-15 years they'll bring it back
As long as Dodge is under Stellantis is won't be
😂😂
I hope but unfortunately it will be an EV version.
@@overlord6815true it is a woke European company that likes electric and small motors the CEO said one time the only reason they did not get rid of the hellcat earlier the virus through a monkey wrench in their plans to stop the manufacturer of them so thanks to the virus we got a couple more years of the hellcat. And they did this before Biden put pressure on the companies to make electric motors . Stellantis has been planning this a few years
EVs are not selling though lol😂
It was a good run, and I'm not mad because I got the Hemi experience in real time. My dad had a 73 Challenger that he used to give us rides in. Now I own a 5.7 Hemi Challenger.
Dodge is fixing to go out they are going to lose a lot of business
They’re not going to lose any more business then what was lost from young criminals using their PPP loans to purchase cars, but no more PPP checks. The scams are over and I’m sure Dodge depended on more Federal funds coming into the Ghetto for profit for more criminal cars. 😢hopefully slave reparations will soon hit the pockets for them.
100%
Salute To Dodge for giving Normal People Cars that Put them on An Equal Platform, for performance. Im just glad I never did give up on my dream car. I went form A GT to Scat always looking at these type videos. Dodge Gave people Hope!
Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro did that a long time ago before the Hellcat. At least those cars are still technically American, Dodge/Chrysler are owned by Fiat, ugh!
It's like Henry Ford said, 'If I'd ask customers what they wanted, they would've told me a faster horse.' That's what Dodge is facing. They can either go electric and try to compete in the performance market, or they can try to hold on to the ICE and hope people will be happy to pay for a car that can't compete, but sounds good.
Chrysler/Dodge can barely compete with gas/diesel vehicles, what makes you think they can compete with EV?
@@reachblowsdick7222 It's a good question. Maybe they can adapt and maybe they can't. The 'horse and buggy' companies mostly died once cars came along and took over. An obvious exception was Studebaker, who had enough vision to change with the times.
You ain't slamming gears tho. Are ya
Thanks to Ralph Gilles who design the Charger, Chrysler 300 ,and SRT Viper. For bring back RWD Hemi V8 powered cars👍👍
If you paid close attention during the original announcement.... He actually said... "There will never be another IRON BLOCK V8 Hemi (exactly what he said in the original announcement.)" I bet the hemi they are working on behind the scenes is a new non iron block V8.
🤔… u got a point
Hemis are nice but technologically wise that new 6-cylinder with 510 horsepower twin turbos would really freak the muscle car people from the 60s out if they knew such a small motor could get up to 510 horsepower even with turbochargers.. I like to judge a motor cubic inches to horsepower and that straight 6 having 510 horses Unbelievable and they said they got them all the way up crate motor wise to a 1000 horsepower a straight 6 can you imagine
Sounds promising. But Cummins just got a 1.6 billion dollar fine for masking emissions so Im not sure how will they be able to pull that off. They won't have much rnd money.
It wouldn’t be a true American muscle car without a (supercharged) V8.
If that’s true, upon confirmation from dodge, I’d get rid of my 33k mileage scatpack IMMEDIATELY 😂
Dodge probably finna go outta business
they fell behind tremendously after they stopped making these cars. The demand was skyrocketing and they couldn’t support it and the hornet isn’t doing that good
Not true at all. Don’t believe everything you hear. The hemi is Not dead. Dodge wanted to boost sales on the “last call “ models and we will absolutely get an inline six option, Ev options ad multiple new hemi options. More trims than ever before are coming. Mark my words. It ain’t over Mack.
Chally getting a redesign with 426 alcohol option and i6 tt the charger banshee will be avail in both plus full ev these guys are fuckin new fan boy tards
nobody wants a 6 cylinder man
@@412hwcuntil they find out how much it cost to maintain a v8
We want v8’s D!ck head
@@412hwcthey literally hold the fastest half mile, quarter mile,0-60 and top speed in a standing half mile show me a v8 doing that or even a v10 or 12
Prices gonna sky rocket this spring!
Is their any kind of way we can have a nation wide Hemi day where everyone can parade in their hemi automobiles of all kinds to maybe send some kind of message of sort to let them know we appreciate what dodge has done in the past and present. The Heartbeat of the Hemi will never be forgotten ......i appreciate your or yals comments and Happy Holidays
Not a bad idea 🤔
It’s not dead yet ! I still have mine !😈😈
I feel like they stopping production so people can buy the last v8s and then bring them back out later on. It’s all business and about making money.
Luckily I still have my 2 scats
I'm glad that i have my 2018 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack!!! I love this car!!
Got my 2023 scatpack charger ❤️💌💕🎊🎉🎉☝️🫀🫁
Widebody?
BRO THIS SHIT BREAKS MY HEART SO BAD YOU KNOW FOR I JUST LOVE V8 CARS IF YOUR A CAR GUY IT BREAKS YOUR HEART ITS FUCKING SAD AS FUCK MAN
And next year after they milked all the money... here comes the new one 😅😅😅😅
I’m so glad I got myself one of the last 2024 Chevy Camaro in Riverside Blue, 6.2 liter. I’m also storing it AND WILL NOT ANY SNOW…EVER.
If now Dodge/Stellantis does not bring back another brand new V8 engine as a option to replace the Hemi V8 engine then they are done as a manufacturer , which is a very stupid decision on their part that they will pay dearly for 😤😤😤😤🤬🤬🤬👎👎👎👎
Stellantis don't care when u pay a load on fines on the 5.7 it going to go
I wouldn't surprised if they come back
Guess we had better take good care of the ones we have!
Will I have enjoyed Being the brotherhood of Dodge.😂🎉
Now everyone with a V6 in Brampton is happy! Iykyk if your from the Toronto area
All they had to do was make the engine lighter and burn cleaner....make the cars themselves lighter.. better mpgs and better emissions ... like the camaro ...the dodge cars and chevy cars should have also lowered displacement to 5.7L for base model NA high compresson V8 motors .... 6.0 up too 6.2 MAX for supercharged and sedan vehicle engines both brands still being pushrod engines ...and Ford should offer 5.2-5.4 up to 5.8 MAX varients of the coyote while the 5.0 as the base v8 offer
The Brampton lot is still full for shipping out, it will be atleast a month before there all shipped out
EVs are not selling. Hemi options will be available. Have faith and don't buy an EV 😂😂😂
Tesla is the most sold car of 23’. Stop capping
You’re coping
@@dabigbosss3791Tesla selling the most in 2023 is cap. Do your research it’s 4th.
@@salimrandall point is as big as the mopar community is it’s still outselling his point was evs are not selling
Ev’s are not reliable and expensive to fix. It’s a racket.
"we wouldn't have gotten the gt500 nor the c8 if it wasn't for the Hellcat". That's a crazy statement to make right there lol
The GT500 was released in 1967 and Corvette producing the C8 had nothing to do with the Hellcat. It just means the generation like C1 to C7.
Too small cars mustangs and covettes if your over 6.3 and over 200 ibs. Challenger is for me
If it wasn’t for the 2013-2014 GT500 we wouldn’t have a hellcat
Terminator cobra is the original hellcat supercharged v8 with a meaner whine than even a redeye
@@EricHansen-fr3cz on a prepped drag strip gets smoked on highway rolls or digs by m3s m4s plaids etc. because the engine design needs to be rethought
They would’ve never put more than 5-600hp in the mustangs or any vehicle under 100k bro. That’s all dodge .
I have my 2021 Challenger widebody 392 and love it
I just want to know will I still be able to buy all my replacement parts for my Dodge Challenger?? Or will they stop producing the parts too?
This is really not cool dealing with the way the car market is going. Now speaking about supercharged vehicles and staying in the 2000s not going further back than that Ford is the one that pushed this genre starting with the 03 Cobra. A vehicle that you can get straight from the dealership with warranty. GM had SLP where you could actually have your vehicle built and are supercharged and I'm not talking about the SS Camaros or the WS6 Trans Am that you can buy from a dealer you could actually send your vehicle to SLP and have it fully built from what I remember.
Cool ….
I can only afford used cars anyway👍🏾
Dodge is done with their muscle cars (Charger/Challenger) Chevy is also done with their muscle car (Camaro) Ford was the first and now the last American standing muscle car left and rumors are after 2026 Ford also being forced to shut their ICE muscle car production down.
@@higheressence I hope you are right, but when it comes to rumors, unfortunately there is always a little truth to them.
Sad news but GT 500 were and still will be around. No dodge effect on that. Carrol was alive to see n feel the last live axle gt 500. Hell cat wasn't around then but came afterward. I can agree with u in regards to the rest of all u mentioned
Wanting a “new” car that hasn’t changed since 2015 is why most people are crashing out tryna buy em anyway. Just get a used one and do some maintenance, it won’t hurt
Embrace the future!
The new two door Charger looks like the original 1968 - 1970 Chargers. It does not look like a Challenger. But nice video.
Let the hellcat & 6.4 swaps begin build to you own spec no more $1000 to $1500 a month car payment grab up the sxt, and GT,s
Did they say that in the 70's?
Perfectly said man.
Thank our gov for this
Well now that money can be redirected to baby mamas, and Jordans.
For now, the Hemi is retired. It will be back. One day.
So I'll be able to get 200k this spring for mine.
We had our time, the same thing happened in the 80s with the muscle cars we had our fun in our generation I say let it go away for a while let it rest, don’t worry it will be back like before for the next generation to enjoy and have their fun, Dodge will be fine they survived the 80s crisis, he’ll even the early 2000s from 2000-2005 dodge really didn’t have anything until the Charger in 2006, they will survive this, I will be waiting for their return patiently and respectfully.
Gov has cracked the whip.
Yo we dodge we got emblems get em now slap them on everything 🤣🤣🤣🤣
History repeats itself. Sleepy jerk has brought us back to jimmy carter fuel shortage times (which is a big lie). Dodge is also to blame for caving in to this nonsense.
It hurts 💔
The Challenger is a real sports car!
Muscle car.
Noooooo
Camaro 😂Zl1
Challenger has never been a sports car. Always been a muscle car whether it be a 70s model or newer model. 🤦♂️
@@LeadStarDude sports car meaning “2 door” I know it’s a muscle car. I was just messing with the Chargers boys of the world🤷🏾♂️
Still plenty on the market
I highly dought it. They literally are marketing genius. Last call? Remember the demon? Electric cars are already losing ground. Dodge will be back.
Electric cars won't last another decade. Heck , 5 years and they will be on their way out. Unsustainable at best
@johncotter9082 exactly 💯 and dodge will have you paying again for a new breed of Hemi. And, another Demon. Lol we are all being played. My advice, stop buying this shit.
@@johncotter9082 that is most likely correct. Japanese and Germans are already looking into saving the combustion engine.
@@johncotter9082 that is most likely correct. Japanese and Germans are already looking into saving the combustion engine.
Dodge has been that standard for muscle cars since the late 60s and early 70s!
dodge goes bankrupt in 5 years
Dodge has definitely stepped it uo in the performance department since the 2000's but Ford has always pushed the envelope on performance. The hellcat was the answer to the GT500 which subsequently ended up getting beat anyway. Remember, the GT500 came back in 07'
The 2024 charger looks like a 1968 charge Nowhere close To looking like a challenger
Dodge, Thankyou for the amazing 53 years of production. There will never be another car like it.
The Last Ever Ford 351 Cleveland stop being made in early 70s yet I can get a brand new one today! Means Nothing
Not new but maybe remanufactured
To be fair Australia had them for years after.
RIP Dodge hemi☠️☠️
Crazy times
were they done? "Or were they forced b/c mpg standard?" 🤔 I hope dealers go away in the future if anything- order direct and or just have test drive sites etc.
You know Canada is part of North America right🤔😂
I’m holding on to my 2018 Charger scat pack, pitch black. It’s an attention grabber and amazing vehicle, with no issues. Dodge is making a mistake. It’s very sad to hear.
I want to cry. It's like a death in the famliy. This makes me sick to my stomach. The Dodge Challenger was as American as you can get as a car. It was the best looking American made vehicle. Dodge made a huge mistake getting rid of the Challenger. We don't want electric we want V8 monsters. I will never buy an electric car. I own a 2023 Challenger Scat Pack widebody in F8 green and I am going to buy another Challenger in the future but never an electric.
Gas ⛽ vs electric who gonna win
Gas will win, the whole EV thing is a scam to just get politicians votes from environmental lunatic hippie liberals. Also our political leaders have too much money invested in oil from the Arabs to stop it.
America car companies are in trouble in general. 😊
Well you have the stealth, Roadrunner, Barracuda and Cornet they might bring in a name package. When the see, there sells dropping and the V6 having issues to become a money pit of warranty jobs. Then they will have no choice, but the way companies are run now days they will run them into the ground... Only for us to hopefully have a true Mopar guy buy the company....
NOOOOOOOOOOO! 😢
Nah bro dodge hellcat was not the reason why the GT500 was built the 13-14 s197 gt500 making 662hp was the real reason why the hellcat was built dodge wanted a car would have more power than the s197 gt500
Its over man. Sell your hellcat while you can.
What if a gas company buys dodge??? Free its soul...
Bingo but unfortunately the Biden administration is responsible for the hellcats demise Donald Trump erased the standards for gas mileage and dumbass Biden who's supposed to be a car guy reinstated it causing the death of the muscle car it's funny Biden calls himself a car guy cuz he has that 67 Corvette or whatever but if you look into it his dad bought it for him. He is just like the politician whose grandfather gave him a gun and as that politician passes gun control laws he points to him owning the gun as a reason he says he is not trying to take guns away same with Biden except Biden acts like a muscle car supporter and a car guy but he in reality his dad bought it. As he passes laws making it hard to manufacturer them
That’s not true the gt500 is the reason why you have the hellcat the 2013 -2014 gt500 with the 650hp and 200mph top speed made dodge go back to the drawing board look it up
What does this mean for parts?
i wonder the same
Start looking at junk yards or online shippers.
I’ll believe it when I actually see it. Not to mention, the government just sued them for $1.6 billion. That HEMI coming back with new editions 😂. Heck, they’ll probably even call it by another name.
Why does it feel like I just lost a kid or something?😅
There are thousands of chargers and challengers sitting in holding lots at Dodge and all around every state near the train stations. They have enough of them to Last all the way through 2024 The way cars are selling right now Meaning cars are not selling right now. So don't worry about them running out anytime soon. As far as the charger and the new 2 door whatever they're gonna call that I hope they stick to a muscle car vibe And not try to make a better Mustang. That's what Chevy did with the Camaro And we know how that's going for Chevy. Dodge does not want to go out of business. They will hit us with something cool. Let's hope so anyway.
Two years from now when dodge realizes they fell off they’ll bring back the hemi engine with an electric assist. They’re literally the shittiest car brand now they have nothing cool.
I understand and support car content but I don't understand why everyone is making such a big deal about this it's been happening since they started making cars.
They will be back soon the electric will do ok but the muscle will be back
Lets go Brandon
I'm sure the canadians are upset too.
We wouldn’t have gotten the gt500 if the hellcat wasn’t around bro we wouldn’t get the hellcat if the 03-04 terminator cobra was never created because that’s what started the factory supercharged cars the terminator is the reason the hellcats exist the ZL1’s exist the Z06’s exist so the terminator cobra started the factory supercharged cars
Facts
The GT 500 existed since 1967, the Hellcat spawned in 2015....
Never say never
Dodge died on my birthday😮
pack watch
alright cut the bs out the urus was cuzz of the s8 rs q8 from audi lets not give dodge a brain
Thats so not true and if you believe that i can sell you some ocean front property in Arizona at 200k over asking price. You young people are so foolish to believe this crap. Its a ploy to sell cars duh
Just like Biden, Dodge is done.😂😂😂
This is totally false information. 🤦♂️
For now
😭dodge is going soft v4 v6 dodge hornet not much car choice just suvs trucks and evs
My salesman said the twin turbo six is coming, so the V8 may be over, but the dodge coupe isn't. The new coupe will probably have AWD and weigh less, which means it should be under 12 seconds in 1/4 mile. That's faster than the Bark Horse, so Dodge is still the king of the strip.
who cares go fast but sounds like 💩💩
@higheressence not sure about that. Tesla has no roar and is selling over half a million cars a year.
2015 DODGE STAMPED N SET THA STANDARD 💯🎯NO MAS👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽,,N THANX TO MEXICO FOR MAKING THOSE HEMI ENGINES🎯💯🫡2015 HELLCAT LEGACY NEVA 4GOTTEN 🎯💯🫡
L platform there plenty new hellcats and chargers and challengers coming there not leting go of billions lol this is all a lie for everyone buy up all stock left.
the amount of incorrect information in this video is wildddddd my boy a truck and a car and a suv are all automobiles how can you say there done making v8 automobiles then say there still making trucks and suvs smh
You have no clue what's going on with the green energy agenda do you? Might want to wake up.
And they just got sued for 1.67 billion so they are cooked (either them or Cummins)
Who cares😂... Not needed for my overinflated ego anyway
