It’s not that serious, The Hemi is now vintage and a collectible. They still have value and overtime people will still want one. Real Mopar fans aren’t going anywhere.

Honestly I wouldn’t mind buying the new hurricane engine, tuning capabilities are going to be high due to being turbocharged with forged internals, hopefully it won’t be long till someone jail breaks the ecu.

I traded my scat did the new 24 GT and planning on whipple. Best part is I can park it anywhere without worry of theft. Because of the low theft my insurance dropped $174 per month.

Already doing that in a 5 speed and it’s worth it. Add Long tube headers, delete the cats, hellcat injectors, dyno tune and your already pushing a good amount of power. I dyno around 330 to the wheel which isn’t bad but I got a cam waiting to be installed later next year. Once you got that title in handle start modding it.

There needs to be massive Dodge Customers ,starting Petition letters Voicing there complaints against Dodge/Stellantis that they better bring back another good brand new V8 engine as a option to replace the Hemi V8 engines, people need to start speaking up on this matter to this company, and better prices too !!!
Still driving my 2008 Pontiac G8 GT! Now sporting a 6.6L LSX 594HP 598TQ and a nice refresh of the interior and paint. So, if you really love your Dodge, keep it and upgrade it! Plus Dodge will be bringing out a new Hemi, bet on it!

Definitely keep them. I paid $47k for my 06 Viper in 2014, worth about $75-$80k now. My son rocks a 2014 Charger AWD Hemi. No Mopars for sale here!!!
The absolute ONLY reason I would consider getting rid of my HC and leaving Mopar altogether is the stress and worrying about someone trying to steal it. And the next move after that I would have to go Blackwing or ZR1
Not letting my 18 scat go!!!! I bought it new in 18. Right now it has 38k miles. My son and I have the engine pulled out. Just put in forged rods and pistons. Going boost with a pro charger. Will upgrade the drive line with HC trans and such. All being built ourselves. Idc how much I put into it.

This week they priced used hellcat for 95k and up ! No way they drop in price
I have a 2020 T/A 392 that I ordered to my specifications. I found out that they only made 30 in my color in 2019. Said numbers were lower in 20 because of covid. Think I’ll just keep mine. Not my daily driver, I got less than 15k miles on it. Love it! Never changing brands.

I just upgraded my R/T to a Jeep Cherokee SRT 392! I’m good all around… a not to mention it’s more rare than the 392 charger and challenger plus it’s faster because it’s all wheel drive….

Keeping mines I very happy with my hellraisen charger sxt yes my v6 300 horsepower is more than enough for me can't get 2 fast with all the freaking traffic anyways I constantly get slowed down by these slow big suv
I get my first charger in Jan.debating going for a Scat but the payments are a little more than what I went truly that I could could get with a SXT 22

When I was younger my older brother always had american muscle he used to have a foxbody mustang and eventually got an 08 charger RT and that RT really got me into cars it was always fun to ride in and was fast at that time especially being a 4door. Fast forward to 2017 I graduated highschool and I got my first job and wanted to put myself in a charger. Without having credit history I couldnt even get a new V6 so i got a 2014 avenger and it was a decent car and looked close enough as a charger but it was a 4 cylinder so it was lacking as far as power goes. So i kept that for a few a years then got a charger RT in 2021 and that car made me go to my first car meet, I literally went the same day I bought it. I loved the car and I still have it today but as I met people then started racing I quickly realised the RT is pretty slow compared to modern "fast" cars and in 2022 I put myself in a better financial position and I bought a challenger hellcat. The hellcat is everything I wanted in a car and I'm proud to say I still own both it took a lil while but Im happy and consider myself lucky to own both a V8 hemi powered charger and challenger before they stopped being produced. I'm 24 years old and I'm young so I consider myself lucky!
I've owned 3 Hellcats and currently own a 23 Jailbreak Redeye Challenger. My question is, what is dodge going to do to replace market share by dropping all the Hemi cars? Thats a hell of a lot of cars they will not sell next year.

When i bought this SXT back in August, i didn't know anything about chargers. I just picked a car because i need one. After i bought it, i started watching videos and learned about the other trims and the true power they have. I don't want to be greedy but i would like to upgrade to an RT. The maintenance on the scats and hellcats are ridiculous. So this summer 2024, i will check them out to see where the prices are because right now.... nope.
I thought dodge was supposed to be this rebellious car maker. Where they don’t follow the trend but now they are killing their bread and butter. Everything dodge made that was cool is now dead the Viper the challenger the charger. Dodge is no longer muscle they just decided to go the soft route

Sold my 2023 Challenger 1320 with only 500 miles on it because even though it was an incredible car, it didn't quite fit the role of a good DD for me.Plus, it was thirsty, and it's acceleration tempted me to always have my foot in it. I bought a new 2023 Charger GT PLUS in "Sinamon Stick" with the upgraded interior. Car has 300 hp which is more than enough for a DD and it has killer looks, drinks A LOT less gas ( 87 octane), cheaper to purchase, insure and maintain. Love my non-Hemi Charger.It's a long term keeper for sure.
That car will last 15 years at least if you take care of it. I have a 2010 Charger SXT V6 and it's still going strong. My 2022 R/T should take me well into my retirement years.
@@John_B52_HEMI I have an actual tornado survivor 1994 Buick Regal sedan with the 3.8 V6. I use it for towing a 4x8 open trailer, and winter use here in PA. It's 30 years old ( as of tomorrow) and currently has less than 108K miles on it. Still going "strong". I'm a semi-retired mechanic and shop owner and know how important vehicle maintinence is. I intend to keep this Charger the rest of my life ( I'm 68).
I am planning keeping my scatpack for ever and my sons will keep it after me i hope
This is the first Mopar I’ve ever owned charger hellcat. I will keep it and enjoy it for as long as I can it’ll be something coming along later just have to wait-and-see.
What happen with your over charging issue you haven't followed up on that is it your tune? Too many cameras? What dude I want to to install a stage one kit on my Hellcat what's up? Direct connection good?

I have a GT & RT. Love them both. Dodge have/had a hard time paying Billions to Tesla on maintaining the Hemi.

Ford did a similar thing back in 2009. They 86'd the V8 Crown Vic 4-door sedan. After that, the customer who wanted a 4-door could choose the Fusion, Focus or Taurus. The Taurus was the most powerful, with only a V6 Front or all-wheel drive. Yeah, they kept the mustang in V8 trim, so good for Ford for at least doing that. Funny thing is that in 2011, I planned to buy a Crown Vic, but by then they were discontinued, so I bought a Charger instead. I've never looked back.

I just traded my 2020 black Charger Scatpack NB for a 2023 plum crazy Challenger Scatpack NB that had some stuff my other Scatpack didn't.
I also previously owned a 2016 Plum crazy Charger RT that I missed the color.
The right deal struck and I jumped on it. Will not get rid of this one.👿 I got a 10yr/100K warranty on it as well.
Might wait a bit and either upgrade to a scat or just upgrade my car by dropping a turbo engine in and add to my original

The 3.0 inline hurricane twin turbo base model can produce over 400 hp which is more then the base model 5.7 hemi. Im kinda sad to see them abandoning the v8s myself but inline 6 motors have alot of potential. Dodge held out longer then the rest with the evs but was having a hard time getting the clear to build the demon 170 because of having no ev line. Atleast they are smart and put a gas powered generator in the rev ram 1500. I dont see the value of the chargers and challenges going down anymore then they normally do since they will no longer be making them with v8s to alot of people they will have more value then a new one but either way most people buying muscle cars dont buy them thinking about resale value they are thinking about the look and the horsepower

My 2016 SRT 392 Go-Mango loaded challenger 30,000 m just went up in value. Fast!! Still like brand new. Not going anywhere!
I doubt itll be that cheaper for a redeye or hellcat, etc etc the most we’re gonna do anyway while not buying from a dealership , we’re gonna get just the engine out of a body off the market, auction or the last option…
I may buy another brand when I get ready to buy another vehicle, but I don’t ever plan on getting rid of my Last Call Scat!

Easier said then done....I love my Charger and believe me I would love a V8 however finances are not permitting it at the moment and honestly when I look at other brands I am not too keen on them.

Honestly, I wanna see what Dodge gonna do for the 4 door Charger replacement. The TT I6 motor is fine for me. But with this said, a used Merecedes S63 AMG (2018-2020) are going for $55k-$70k and if the replacement for Dodge gonna continue to be way overpriced like for 2023 then Im going back to German with the S63 AMG Sedan. My car before the 2020 Scatty was an 02 Porsche 911.

And let's be serious here , people that come to Dodge as Muscle car lovers are not looking for just a 6CYI engine, they want the Hemi V8 engine because that's what made the Dodge brand !! I left Dodge, not because I dislike the brand, but because my own experience was horrible. My scat was a TON of fun, but ended up having so many electrical issues. Add to that my dealer absolutely sucked all around. So I traded it and thought about getting a cat but the appeal of the scat to me was the “daily ability.” I also didn’t want to buy 3 chargers in a row, so I got a Lexus Is500 way more slept on but just as much power and a lot more reliable, and I still get my v8 4 door sedan.
Went through the same thing with mine and it was a headache, so I switched to a 2023 Mach 1.
Original Original Charger was shaped like the now Challenger. So I guess they're trying to take it back.

No need to leave the brand if you love your car. I couldnt afford the brand so i bought a Mustang GT. The coyote is a very good platform that can produce a lot of power when done correctly ie. Brett Lasala and his car Snot Rocket. But hemis are capable of big power too when.done correctly its just that Dodge is mich more expensive
My reason on getting dodge was the space I wanted a 4 door even the challenger is bigger compared to the mustang and Camaro but they are still great cars

Wouldnt suprise me to see stelantis release something like a TT 4.0 or 4.8 V8 for their faster cars and trucks, although with increased CAFE standards coming in 2026 it would be very expensive to buy

I mean let's just be honest here. Hellcat came out in 2015. They have never resigned the new look of the charger or the Challenger I feel like what the last call of the Hellcat are Scat Pack they kept the same look. They pretty much rip people off. They should give us more. Like if I were to have a 2020 dodge charger Hellcat I wouldn't trade in for the last call because it's going to be the exactly the same car just the last call badge and that's about it. If you even said it yourself but I will always still rock with your Channel I feel like Chevy and Ford is still keeping the V8

My TRX is the best truck I have ever owned and the Hellcat V8 makes it the best, since June 2021 and 37,000 miles I am still smiling when I hammer the throttle. The new RHO is not something I would even consider. I understand the decision to drop the 5.7 and 6.4 but the Hellcat should have been kept for the best vehicles they produce. I think it was a terrible decision to drop the supercharged 6.2. Just my $0.02 brother. Deuces!!!!!✊🏽
