great video but for anyone watching planning to buy one I wouldn't recommend accepting delivery in the app BEFORE checking the car first. You did inspect for panel gaps and stuff but by that point you had already accepted delivery, so whatever you'd find wouldn't matter, the sales rep would just tell you to go home and schedule a service appt. Glad the car was perfect though
Great job and glad you are diligent enough to put in the updates concerning new models. New owners who like the super technical stuff can sign up for the service manual which they dont charge for. The interface and diagnostics are a premium though.
We opted for the RWD here in Denmark and are actually picking it op tomorrow, so Im so excited. The price range was close to 10K USD and that is not all. When you buy a car with more horse power here in Denmark, the insurance price is also higher. Anyway, the longest drive i can drive here in Denmark from south to north will require 2 charge stops with an arrival SoC of 11% according to A Better Route Planner. Besides none of us have Long Range blatters anyway :-). We got the Midnight silver, which there arent many of here actually.

The Tesla guy said his car was attached to a charger. How much charge do they give you? Will it be sufficient, or do you need to pay to charge it right away?
Usually you will leave the lot with a full charge. If you’re concerned about this, make sure to call the Service Center before you accept delivery. They can ensure it’s fully charged. 👍👍👍

Did you happen to look at the VIN number to determine which plant this Model Y was built? I suspect Austin, but would be nice to know. Thanks
My understanding is that all LR model Ys are from Fremont. You can tell with a P in the VIN

The dealer provides a temporary plate automatically. The actual license plate ships in the mail.
