    While you can do the rotation in the slicer, doing it in Fusion is less error prone if you may be making additional prints later on in time, perhaps much later. Thanks for the video, Lars.

    Well I think converting it into a Component and moving the Component with the Joint Feature will not help. Because i think when exporting it as an STL file it is oriented in relation to its own Origin inside the Component.
    But you can use the Align Feature which is used in a similar way!

    Why wouldn't you just go to design, modify, align then select the plane you wish it to start from?
