I purchased a 3.6 AWD Premium about a month ago. It's a great all-around SUV. Lots of goodies and space. Thanks for the review.

Help me out....planning on purchasing this, but always skeptical with other owners of the bigger Atlas having ,mechanical issues. They share the same power train . Any issues with yours?

Nice well spoken review. As for the VW Cross Sport OVERPRICED. look AT A 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe for thousands le$$.Or better yet a Palisade starts at $33k more for your money.

Bextar636 Hyundai engines are not that refined as Volkswagen engines do. That is why Volkswagen are pricey but worth every penny.

They have been known for years to be troublesome cars and repairs are costly.

Bextar636 True but they can be reliable if maintained properly. However, Hyundai/Kia engines are not reliable plus less refined. 🤷‍♂️

You can’t just go by msrp. You have to take local dealers into consideration. Volkswagen offered my 2019 Atlas 7k off msrp. I tried to get a telluride first and they wanted 6k over msrp and wouldn’t budge. Very happy with the Atlas.

I’d take the BW over the Kia/Hyundai. Neighbour’s Santa Fe randomly caught on fire and with their recent settlement and bad 2.0T reliability, VW for me.

I want to like this vehicle, but the typical VW sea of dark gray interior plastics is a huge let down for a vehicle with such a nice modern exterior. This should not top out over $35k with this interior.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee and Nissan Murano interiors blow this out of the water. But I guess this our punishment for not appreciating the Tourag. Lucky Europeans.

VW, no way every one I talk they start have transmission problem or immediately or after 10k mil or so why every year every one love this cars with all this problems even Audi that it the same car have the same problem, how much VW pay you guys to your ad’s for VW, it really bad all around but beautiful car, maybe the Engine but for sure really bad transmission....

This and the Atlas uses the same Asin transmission as the Toyota Highlander. Which has been reputed to be super reliable. So you can't generalize a transmission issue you had with a different model with these

Kareem Joseph for how long, I do not believe that Toyota went so low to share any thing with a bad reputation like VW, look the record of lemon law of VW from the year of 1990 includes all their products....

@@yariav ok... So your agenda is about spreading your hate for vw and not facts. Not saying vw is perfect by any means, but facts are facts. Asin makes transmissions which Toyota uses, and vw used it for the Atlas and cross spot. Toyota has no say in who Asin does business with and who they let use their products.

Complete garbage. VW does not have trans problem. Maybe they send bad trans to where you live on purpose, more likely you have an agenda behind your comment. Third world cultural myths.

VS just.reduced there warranty coverage just in time for this POS. Ugly blog with weak powertrain and crazy high price. Hard pass. All the issues and reliability problems confirm this is not at the same level as the competition
