Yeah gts made a lot of things easier. Sad it's gone.
Odds are it probably had trash ivs coming off of the gts, but if all you cared about was shiny breeding then yeah it was way easier.

I'm sure you've all learned this by now, but it's best to use the three Legendaries for the Ditto raids. Because Zacian, Zamazenta, and Eternatus are unable to Dynamax, Ditto is actually unable to Transform or Imposter into them.

Not necessarily because if you have a brain u realize all pokemon that can g-max are like eternamax eternatus because if u think about it that's just a g-max form so really If u have multiple ppl EZ also I want the dlc to come with eternamax eternatus to ppl who pre order that and on shiny form but if they do give a free shiny in the dlc If u pre order I would assume u would get either shiny galar bird or a regi electric and the other one version exclusive also has anyone noticed the dots on the new regi face resemble x and y I hope that yvetel and xerneas made it

I realize, this date spoofing thing is probably why there's consistent raid pop ups on the game that you join instantly that said it's been removed.
Yeah, it's extremely annoying, but if you watch your feed you can determine if they're using that exploit and wait for them to have a raid that's usually a gmax Pokemon.
I'm seeing them pop-up but doesn't give the option to join.

You don’t even have to be online to do the raid change spoof. I’ve been doing it offline all day

For anyone with the Isle of Armor DLC there is a den in the Workout Sea that is almost guarunteed to be a Ditto on both red beam and rare beam. It's den #152 on serebii if you want the location. This saves having to save reset for a rare den.

I have been playing this game since fire red came out and I have finally decided to make a competitive team so this was very helpful with 6 IV ditto
A trick for Ditto raids that I feel most people haven't caught onto yet is have everyone bring Eternatus/Zacian/Zamazenta. They can't be dynamaxed so when Ditto tries to transform into them, it just fails and wastes its turn. It's even better than bringing Magikarp, because they can actually attack and still deal a lot of damage with Dynamax Cannon or Behemoth Blade even past the barriers. People should know this so they stop bringing fairies when I bring Eternatus cause that just stops my Dynamax Cannon and slows the raid down.

Thank you so much! My friend and I were able to get a 5 best 1 fantastic iv ditto from an Italian playthrough for our American playthrough.
30 hp and 31 for the rest
Something I've been doing on my Ditto farm is after I find a 5 star Ditto, I load up the battle really fast to see if it has the imposter ability. If it doesn't I exit out and continue forward through the date advance method. Once I find one with imposter I exit out one last time, and then finally connect to the internet while sending in my level 1 Magikarp. I may have no idea what the IVs are on the Ditto but hey at least a few other random players are getting an easy chance to get a decent Ditto without having to do the set up themselves.

Hack for facing Ditto with Imposter: have the host bring a Ditto; it will “transform” into the Ditto and be unable to transform or attack in any way the rest of the raid 😁

I found a method to get lv 100s in as little as 1 hour. While trying to reset to get gigantamax spawns i noticed when I change the date by 1 day and reset the purple beam, my poke jobs would also reset and complete. It only works when u reset the beam changing the date outside of that doesn't reset the poke jobs. I have been lving my pokemon to 100 while gigantamax hunting.
So the formula is
reset game till you get a purple beam, then save, after go to poke center and send pokemon off to work on the EXP Jobs or EV training Jobs, then fly back to the den you got the purple beam, Do the reset method, (hit invite others then change the date forward by 1 day) then once it reset the pokemon in the beam, just fly to poke center and your jobs should be completed.
Just keep repeating.
Now I find some times it doesn't work but that is mostly if you hit the home button by accident after you reset the den, for whatever reason hitting the home button after den reset undos the job completion even if you have not reset the date to current date.
Hope you all find this useful but I have leveled up my 30+ competitive pokemon this way in only 2 hours. and it take 3 reset to full EV Train 1 stat as each reset gives you 96 points to that stat.
in terms of Evs, just sell pokeballs you can buy with watts and use the money you get to buy vitamins
Luxury balls are the more profitable ones, get them off of watts sell them on the poke center get the medicines, 26 medicines is 252 ev's (technically 260 but ev's just 252)
I was able to get a German Ditto through trades and proceeded to get a Shiny Wooloo in 14 eggs. That felt good
Ok so german does work? I have a german ditto and people were saying it won't work with an American file.

I started a new Shield game just to use this method. My first sparkling item pickup was a wishing piece. Then on my second try at the den, I got the Ditto. Amazing work, thank you.

If the ditto has its hidden ability and the host sends out a ditto, the raid ditto will turn into that ditto. The host can then turn into another persons Pokémon, while the raid ditto can no longer transform. This is because you cannot transform multiple times, so the raid ditto just sits there spamming transform while it fails

Just for clarification, the Ditto ONLY needs to be caught in a different language, correct? No region swaps necessary? My American friend can just start a game in French and trade me a masuda method Ditto?
Cole Silva can confirm that it just has to be a different language, I’m American and started a second game but in French and while I haven’t traded my ditto over yet, it does say that it’s French so it should work

The reason why is the Switch isn't region locked. That is why the different languages work.
so all i need to do is start a new game with a different language. i don't have to create a Japanese switch user?
TastyHam that is correct. Just pick 日本語 or にはんご (one of the two, i don’t remember if both are there) when they ask what language you want to play the game in and you can play in Japanese and have Japanese pokemon.
For the foreign save file, you don´t need to get to the wild area, just get the y-comm. It works. Also, if going for competitive shinies, get a male 5iv pokemon egg (save before hatching, reset if 5iv, retry if its not), trade it to a foreign save file, hatch it, trade it back, you now have a 5iv foreign pokemon that can make shinies from two egg groups, and if you use two of the same species, you get eggs faster.
Hey austin john! I recently subscribed but ive watched your breath of the wild videos ALOT and helped me complete all the shrines, yes ive subscribed but now im on a new account and im subscribed again because i didnt know other region dittos had a higher chance of breeding, further more passing on IVs. So i reached out on someone on discord and traded a shiny gyarados for the ditto.

I did one 4 star ditto and two 5 star ditto.
The 4 star one gave me 3IV and the two 5 star ones gave me 4IV.
Actually even most of the 5 star gold pokemons i catch in max raids are 4iv. I dont recall getting a 5iv from one.
Does it have to be an account in that region or can I just select the language when I play through the game?
Question: Is there a way to increase chances of getting 5 and 6 perfect ivs in the raid? My one profile seems to get move 5 iv ditto encounters and my alternate seems to get more 4 iv dittos. Not sure if this is coincidence or if there's something different i did in my games.
