    Pro tip: If you get a pokemon with the Synchronize ability like ralts and have it first in your party when you encounter a wild pokemon it will have the same nature as your ralts. (You can have different nature ralts for different pokemon)

    • @FerZamu
      @FerZamu 5 лет назад +26

      Also wild pokemon with the yellow aura give 2+ perfect IV so this with the combination from synchronize can give you a great start on the pokemon you want to breed :)

    After hours of breeding for a really good Gastly, I was gonna settle for a 5 perfect IV. After breeding again and again, I had a few perfect 5 IV Gastly. I wasn’t sure if it was possible to obtain a perfect 6 IV off of breeding, or at least I knew it wasn’t gonna be easy. But as I was gonna end the whole breeding and settle with a perfect 5 IV. I got myself a perfect 6 IV Gastly. Now I’m so happy.

  • @drakemyers7017
    @drakemyers7017 5 лет назад +7

    Also another note. Find a Pokemon with the ability Synchronize. This ability heightens your chance of finding Pokemon of that one's nature so you don't have to rely on RNG. This makes finding a good nature Pokemon much simpler.
    So for example, catch a ralts with synchronize and breed it to get a plethora of them with competitive natures; modest, Adament, jolly, timid, etc.. then hunt/raid for select Pokemon with that nature. Boom. Done.
    As most people tend to create competitive teams post game, you'll already be encountering 'brilliant' aura Pokemon and 5 star raids so breeding the IVs won't be nearly as taxing. It's getting the natures that is the struggle, yeah the mints help but honestly there are better things to spend BP on. I hope this little tidbit helps you guys out along with the video.

    • @drakemyers7017
      @drakemyers7017 4 года назад +1

    Another thing that should be touched upon that saves a lot of time is hyper training.
    Once you get a pokemon to level 100 you can improve any IV's on your pokemon to perfect by using bottle caps that you can buy for bp at wyndon.
    So the ideal thing to do is get 5 perfect IVs then fix your 6th using hyper training after accruing some BP by doing versus battles and the battle tower.
    This will save a ton of time rather than hoping you get all 6 perfect IVs just from breeding

    • @aymaneltc
      @aymaneltc 5 лет назад

      Useless, because you don't need 6IV, just 5. Example : Gengar don't need atk so...

    • @veliona8920
      @veliona8920 5 лет назад +2

      @@aymaneltc I wouldn't exactly call it useless, it depends on what the stat is. ie. If you have a Toxapex with 5 perfect IV's and the 6th is very good in defense which is one of Toxapex's best stats then you can just hyper train it to perfect instead of wasting time using multiple ditto's trying to fix your IV spread.

    • @pascali265
      @pascali265 5 лет назад

      does hyper training a ditto and breeding it pass on those hyper trained ivs? or does it still use ditto's base ivs?

    • @thom9745
      @thom9745 5 лет назад +1

      Gald, you say this saves a lot of time because you don't have to wait for that perfect Pokémon, but in my opinion it is quicker than getting a Pokémon all the way up too level 100 🤷🏻‍♂️. So yeah..

    But you cannot pass the stats if you decide to breed that pokemon.

      With breeding I guess you skip all these steps have a lvl 1 pokemon with max IV and EV's so I think that's why people breed.

    That apparently means they can’t breed, but it did work with the original togekiss, could you explain why this is?

    • @Osirus
      @Osirus  5 лет назад +3

      Hey Niels
      This is a tough one as baby Pokemon cannot breed so to breed that particular Pokemon you would need to evolve it first. If you are going through the step by step process of breeding better Ivs each time it might be worth breeding a bunch of togepi first and picking the best one before breeding and moving on. I hope this helps and if you have any of questions please let me know :)

  • @benavid1

    Let's say you get that 5 or 6 perfect IV Pokemon, but w/o the nature you wanted - can't you just give it a mint from the Battle Tower corresponding to the nature you want? Does that do the same job or is that somehow still different than continuing to breed with the Everstone?

    • @Osirus

      Hey Antonio, so if you want to use a mint on a Pokemon that you will use competitively that works instead of breeding but if you ever want to breed from that Pokemon you won’t be able to breed down the nature that the mint changed it to only it’s original nature that it hatched with. So how the destiny knot works is it will pull down 5 random IVs from both parents so it’s not always guranateed but if you only have a good ditto with the other parent having not great IVs what I would do it cycle babies with the ditto replacing the current parent every time you get an improved spread, it’s a long process but hopefully this makes it a little better for you

  • @Marrrrley
    @Marrrrley 2 года назад

    I remember I used to breed perfect pokemons in ORAS and it's actually a fun process. Just a little improvement since it's even easier on this game, capture a lot, lot, lot of Dittos, like 50 or something, they don't need to have good IVs even. The point of doing this is getting a Ditto with every good nature to simplify getting the correct nature process. With this, you just get the pokemon you want to breed, breed a single one with the nature Ditto equipped with the Everstone (if any of them has good IVs then equip the Destiny Knot to the pokemon) and with that you'll get the good nature pokemon. Now, swap the Ditto with the one with perfect IVs and the good nature pokemon and now do the same process of this video. This will help dramatically the beggining of the breeding process.

    You can speed up the nature process by catching a bunch of dittos and finding them with the natures you want - iv's don't matter. Breed your pokemon with that nature ditto first using everstone to transfer over the correct nature right from the beginning, then you just don't have to farm for it and every egg will have it from then on.
