Very helpful, but one thing, the daycare in Bridge Field is much more convenient and easier for me to use because you only have to zoom forward and back once for eggs to appear and hatch
I’ve got a question: i have a male togepi and a ditto in the daycare, the lady says”they don’t seem to like playing together at all” That apparently means they can’t breed, but it did work with the original togekiss, could you explain why this is?
Hey Niels This is a tough one as baby Pokemon cannot breed so to breed that particular Pokemon you would need to evolve it first. If you are going through the step by step process of breeding better Ivs each time it might be worth breeding a bunch of togepi first and picking the best one before breeding and moving on. I hope this helps and if you have any of questions please let me know :)
I have been breeding the hell out of my special Eevee, with a perfect IV itallian Ditto. Even though the Eevee has 5 Best IV's, I have not produced a single perfect IV egg yet. It's really frustrating now!
Let's say you get that 5 or 6 perfect IV Pokemon, but w/o the nature you wanted - can't you just give it a mint from the Battle Tower corresponding to the nature you want? Does that do the same job or is that somehow still different than continuing to breed with the Everstone?
Hey Antonio, so if you want to use a mint on a Pokemon that you will use competitively that works instead of breeding but if you ever want to breed from that Pokemon you won’t be able to breed down the nature that the mint changed it to only it’s original nature that it hatched with. Hope this helps clear this up for you mate

I totally know what you mean haha I love FF7 (my favourite FF) also thanks for the kind words and support really happy to hear you enjoyed the video :)
So how the destiny knot works is it will pull down 5 random IVs from both parents so it’s not always guranateed but if you only have a good ditto with the other parent having not great IVs what I would do it cycle babies with the ditto replacing the current parent every time you get an improved spread, it’s a long process but hopefully this makes it a little better for you

Hey, yeah that’s sometimes how it works as destiny knot pulls 5 random IVs from both parents and then completely randomises the final stat. It’s frustrating sometimes when you have two really strong parents but you still get bad rolls! I hope you get some better luck and if you need a better ditto I have a spare 5 IV one you are welcome to, hit me up with you fc if you are interested and we can set up a trade
@@chainntoad5382 Spastic, you can't change the nature you just change which stats are affected. that migth mean that the change does not stay when transfering the pokemon to another game.
I ended up with a 6 iv ditto in let’s go. It is useless there. So I tried transferring to home and into sword. It worked. Getting a 6 iv would be more probable in let’s go then transfer to sword/shield.
I remember I used to breed perfect pokemons in ORAS and it's actually a fun process. Just a little improvement since it's even easier on this game, capture a lot, lot, lot of Dittos, like 50 or something, they don't need to have good IVs even. The point of doing this is getting a Ditto with every good nature to simplify getting the correct nature process. With this, you just get the pokemon you want to breed, breed a single one with the nature Ditto equipped with the Everstone (if any of them has good IVs then equip the Destiny Knot to the pokemon) and with that you'll get the good nature pokemon. Now, swap the Ditto with the one with perfect IVs and the good nature pokemon and now do the same process of this video. This will help dramatically the beggining of the breeding process.
Love the videos. My son and I love watching and learning. My son ask me what eevee evolution team would work for sword version? and I don’t really know. If you can help me out that would be awesome. But if not keep up with the great videos.

More than happy to help you out with a build 😁 if it’s easier you can Dm me on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook but also more than happy to help in the comments here Have a great day and hope to catch up soon
Competitively, Eevees have not been that popular lately but maybe they will rise again in sword shield due to the pokemon that got left out. There's just so many other options to choose from rather than eevees. Personally, I like Sylveon the most.
Hey, yeah eventually the 6th IV on every egg is randomly selected between 1-31 with the destiny knot so it’s really just down to grinding but you will eventually get it :) good luck with the hatching
You can speed up the nature process by catching a bunch of dittos and finding them with the natures you want - iv's don't matter. Breed your pokemon with that nature ditto first using everstone to transfer over the correct nature right from the beginning, then you just don't have to farm for it and every egg will have it from then on.
Hey Nafe, so the destiny knot pulls 5 IVs from both parents which is way you either want two really good parents or you have to kinda cycle the process by replacing the current parent with a better baby each time until you can get more consistent IV spreads being produced. It can be a little bit of a grind to start with but it shouldn’t take to long. I hope this helps but let me know if you still have any questions :) also welcome to the channel
Hyper training is a great thing for more casual players to get to be competitive but not taking breeding away is good for players that enjoy breeding I know it's not fun for everyone but it's nice to have choice
Yes making breeding completely useless, this is for people that don't want to use the new features or cannot understand them...or need to have 100 of the same Pokemon because having one with perfect traits is not enough for hem to believe that is enough...
Ok... So I've got this problem, what does the destiny knot do exactly? Like, what do you mean it passes 5 IVs I hunted down my best Gardevoir, and farmed some good dittos, and bred until I got a Ralts with the best everything except speed, then I got a ditto with the best speed and bred it with the Ralts, this ditto also has an Adamant nature, that I'll be passing on with the ever stone, but I keep breeding and I keep getting Pokémon with more than 1 imperfection in their stats how is this possible if the Destiny knot is supposed to be passing on 5 of these stats?
Not necessarily Ethan but you will have the best odds possible to get a perfect baby, how the destiny knot works is it pulls 5 random IVs from both parents and then randomises the last one between 0-31 so technically you have a 1 in 32 chance of getting a 6 IV baby from these parents but if you are only after a 5 IV then you will be able to do this pretty quickly, I hope this helps
For european people its easier to get perfect IV shiny pokemon. due the many different language's of Ditto you're able to get. or even a different region game

Thank you very much for this guide! Much love and wish you a happy new year! :3
Getting that Ditto takes some time haha
Never bring a legendary to a ditto max raid lol ( it will just copy the legendary and destroy you)
Just transfer one from let's go
@@holydrsy Actually it can't transform into this gen's legendaries, if it try to do so it just wastes a turn, and the legendaries also all have a signature move that deals double damage on dynamaxed pokémon.
ItzReflex ya no ditto can’t transform into legendaries so it’s actually preferred to take a legendary into a ditto battle externatus being 1 of the best bcuz or its Dynamax Cannon which does x2 damage time any dyna’d mon
@@KC_604 Yeah but Éthernatos' dynamax cannon doesn't work on fairy types, and the AI often brings in fairy types, so Zamazenta is better.
I got a super good treecko in my third egg. Thank you for teaching me this
The best I got breeding duraludon is 4 perfect ivs been going at it for awhile :(
I wanna get into competitive play so this is very helpful!! Thank you so much!
Thanks for the guide! it was very clear! You've got a good channel!
Thanks so much and so happy to hear you found it useful!! Also welcome to the Channel and hope you find other content just as beneficial :)
Very helpful, but one thing, the daycare in Bridge Field is much more convenient and easier for me to use because you only have to zoom forward and back once for eggs to appear and hatch
thats what i was thinking...dude, dont forget about bridge field
My one issue on the video is the nature of the dreepy but good guide
Genuinely the best guide it’s so clear lmao
I’ve got a question: i have a male togepi and a ditto in the daycare, the lady says”they don’t seem to like playing together at all”
That apparently means they can’t breed, but it did work with the original togekiss, could you explain why this is?
Hey Niels
This is a tough one as baby Pokemon cannot breed so to breed that particular Pokemon you would need to evolve it first. If you are going through the step by step process of breeding better Ivs each time it might be worth breeding a bunch of togepi first and picking the best one before breeding and moving on. I hope this helps and if you have any of questions please let me know :)
Osirus Studios the togekiss was from a raid so it shouldn’t be much of a problem, thanks a lot dude
loli you got any good togekiss/togepi for me? I’m trying to get a 5IV (no attack) or 6IV togekiss
This was VERY HELPFUL TY! Also when I did this I got a ditto raid as I saw this video.
Guy in this video *puts timid nature on dreepy*
Jolly nature: am I a joke to you?
Dude, this guide is so good! Thanks! 👍
I just bred my galar slowpoke from ok stats to amazing stats :)
Are you going to battle with it?
Great vid, bud!
Liked and subbed for the great content my friend! Looking forward to more.
Hey, thanks so much for the support and I'm so pleased you hear you are enjoying the content!! I hope you continue to as I get more up :) Also huge welcome to the channel!!
Osirus Studios Thanks! And I'm sure I will!
Really good guide helped me get a 100% perfect IV Jolly Dreepy
I went to the Ditto den and kept grinding it until i got a perfect Ditto, I know not many of you will believe me but I got a Shiny 6 Max IVs with ability Imposter Ditto!
Hey Osirus!
RichyTubes yup
I know why the Shiny Zacian and Zamazenta models are in the game! Shiny ditto could turn into a Shiny legendary!
Same
I have 6iv shinny ditto and a 6iv growlith
I played all games in like two years im 10 and have max pokedex in all and i can be competitive with this guide now thanks
9:45 Little dreepy can we see, if it is a 6 iv.
This video reminds me of Final Fantasy 7 doing the Gold Chocobo … tons of work but it was fun am very rewarding in the end!
I totally know what you mean haha I love FF7 (my favourite FF) also thanks for the kind words and support really happy to hear you enjoyed the video :)
even the ditto got 5 iv , the egg isnt 100 % sure that will be with 5 iv? Because my egg got 2 or 3 iv.... help please
So how the destiny knot works is it will pull down 5 random IVs from both parents so it’s not always guranateed but if you only have a good ditto with the other parent having not great IVs what I would do it cycle babies with the ditto replacing the current parent every time you get an improved spread, it’s a long process but hopefully this makes it a little better for you
Keep trying and when you get a better baby. Put that sucker in the bank.
When rolling for the 5 randomized IVs from the parents, can two 'pretty good' judged stats combine into a fantastic or whatever the higher stat is?
How do you make the numbers into best or very best like it shows you
I got so lucky got a 4 IV foreign ditto .. Hp,Attack,Defense and Sp Atk
Thanks so much for checking out this guide, I hope you enjoyed it and found it useful!

Whenever I use the destiny knot on one of my 4 perfect IV dittos I'll only get two IVs if I'm lucky. Is something wrong or am I just unlucky? 😂
Never mind. I just did some research and found my problem 😂
@@Osirus Thanks for the offer! I'm fine though, I'll spend some more time grinding ditto
You still got that spare ditto bro?
I’m getting into to competitive Pokémon so thank you a ton
Question: Does the breeder saying the Pokémon aren’t fond of each other make it harder to breed a perfect IV?
Carolyn Barber just use a ditto
Ok that’s what I’m using
it means unless they are ditto they wont breed.
They still breed. It just takes a little longer to make an egg.
@@osmondfar2 oh yea, I mixed that up with prefering to play with other pokemon.
Awesome guide, instant sub
Edit:
Update I have a competitive ttar and closing in on a metagross 12 hours later
Can the offspring get gigatamax?
No unfortunately this won’t be passed down although in the isle of armour dlc you can make max soup to give the g max mark
Great video.
Thurough but straight to the point.
9/10 because the nature straight after hatch doesn't matter.
Spastic Deer how so?
@@corkey29 you can change it with mints
@@chainntoad5382 Spastic, you can't change the nature you just change which stats are affected. that migth mean that the change does not stay when transfering the pokemon to another game.
@@chainntoad5382 do you have 50 bp for every mon?
@@madrussian5955 yes
this is the best breeding video ever - thank you so much!!
Couldn’t I just breed a 6 iv ditto and give it the destiny know, cutting down the amount of time for each PokémonI want to train?
Ditto is a Pokemon you can’t breed unfortunately
Ah that sucks, but could you just get lucky and catch a 6 IV ditto in the wild or in a raid
Yes, but the odds are insanely against you
I ended up with a 6 iv ditto in let’s go.
Hey Alex, thanks so much for the comment great to hear you and your son are enjoying the content!!
An eevee evolution team, will this be for singles or doubles play?? More than happy to help you out with a build 😁 if it’s easier you can Dm me on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook but also more than happy to help in the comments here
Have a great day and hope to catch up soon
Osirus Studios he wants to do singles
@Osirus Studios get back to this man!!! 😉
Competitively, Eevees have not been that popular lately but maybe they will rise again in sword shield due to the pokemon that got left out. There's just so many other options to choose from rather than eevees. Personally, I like Sylveon the most.
This is the first guide ive watched thats made sense. Thank you
after some hours I hatched a 5 max ivs toxel should I keep it
Mabye u can trade it
I have a ultra German shiny 6iv ditto with pokérus and the item destiny knot!
Will I eventually get a 6iv pokemon if the parents are both 5iv? The babies I get are 5iv but the 6th iv is almost always decent or pretty good
Hey, yeah eventually the 6th IV on every egg is randomly selected between 1-31 with the destiny knot so it’s really just down to grinding but you will eventually get it :) good luck with the hatching
Mine was 5iv and fantastic. Cant get pass through that
You can speed up the nature process by catching a bunch of dittos and finding them with the natures you want - iv's don't matter. Breed your pokemon with that nature ditto first using everstone to transfer over the correct nature right from the beginning, then you just don't have to farm for it and every egg will have it from then on.
Still can't find Chi-chester on the map. 😂
Thank u som much as soon as I pressed this video I got a 6IV Scorbunny
I swear the destiny know doesnt work i keep gettin 2 max ivs from a 4 iv ditto. Im kinda new to the breeding and competitive stuff lol
Thanks for the guide! finally got my 6IV Dreepy
Can’t you just use the mints and hyper training to get the perfect iv Pokémon?
Afaik hyper training is an illusion, while it gives the pokemon perfect IV's it does not allow it to breed them down.
Hyper training is a great thing for more casual players to get to be competitive but not taking breeding away is good for players that enjoy breeding I know it's not fun for everyone but it's nice to have choice
Well yes but actually no
Yes making breeding completely useless, this is for people that don't want to use the new features or cannot understand them...or need to have 100 of the same Pokemon because having one with perfect traits is not enough for hem to believe that is enough...
Ok... So I've got this problem, what does the destiny knot do exactly? Like, what do you mean it passes 5 IVs
I hunted down my best Gardevoir, and farmed some good dittos, and bred until I got a Ralts with the best everything except speed, then I got a ditto with the best speed and bred it with the Ralts, this ditto also has an Adamant nature, that I'll be passing on with the ever stone, but I keep breeding and I keep getting Pokémon with more than 1 imperfection in their stats how is this possible if the Destiny knot is supposed to be passing on 5 of these stats?
If you put 2 6 iv Pokemon in the daycare will the baby have 6 IVs?
Not necessarily Ethan but you will have the best odds possible to get a perfect baby, how the destiny knot works is it pulls 5 random IVs from both parents and then randomises the last one between 0-31 so technically you have a 1 in 32 chance of getting a 6 IV baby from these parents but if you are only after a 5 IV then you will be able to do this pretty quickly, I hope this helps
@@Osirus yeah it does thanks
Long live pkhex!!
Imagina having a living dex with all perfect nature's and IVs with the help of this guide.
and all shiny *_*
im psychotic so im doing this 😌✨
@@charlotteaitchison2922 Haha, for real?
For european people its easier to get perfect IV shiny pokemon. due the many different language's of Ditto you're able to get. or even a different region game
Thanks so much! Super usefull!
Is breeding perfect pokemons something that I should touch only during post game?
It is advised as you only get the iv checker post game
@@pqracord5839 Thanks! Getting into competitive battling is something i have been wanting to try but breeding has deterred me from doing so. I might give it a shot this gen.
Just saw a Lucky Charms commercial, and the unicorn the leprechaun is riding on high key looks like Galar Ponyta
Honestly im probably to lazy to go for 6 iv's i'll probably go for 4 or 5 perfect ivs's knowing me lmao
5 is honestly fine and what I go for most of the time as there is always normally going to be an offensive stat that a Pokemon won’t use which you can in theory forget about, good luck with the breeding :)
Your video is really good. I’ve been doing somethings rights but you’ve taught be the rest. Thank You.
Tried the backing out and loading back in method and it’s only been getting me 3 star dittos :/ even when the beam is bright purple
Okay you only get 5 star raids when you beat the 7th gym I believe
But I’ve beaten the whole game, I’ve even done the battle tower and got the judge feature unlocked
It's just luck dude, I got my 5 star on my first Ditto raid, you'll get it soon
when you get the purple beam and it isnt the 5 star ditto you want. Go to invite other then go to settings change the date to one day ahead and then quit out of inviting others and interact with the den again. You should get 2000 watts and a reroll for the star of the ditto in the den.
