Every single time I go visit my family my grandma asks “do any boys like u yet?” Or “You have a crush on a boy?” And she doesn’t know I’m 13, and gay. Iconic, coz every straight person says I’m too young to know, yet all of them keep forcing me to tell them about my crushes of the opposite gender
I got Anxiety of postponing it so I just told my parents “I’m Queer, it means that I like Men, but I don’t know if I’m into Women” i had to wait until I was 18 because I made sure it was safe. It was and they loved me either way or even more now 🥰

I’m a lesbian and I used to have a crush on my (straight) best friend. All our friends knew that I liked her, but she didn’t. I debated for a long time about whether I wanted to tell her or not. I knew she wouldn’t like me back, which didn’t make it easier. I was almost completely sure she would hate me or not want to be my friend anymore. Anyways, my friends ended up peer pressuring me into telling her. In the end, she didn’t really care if I liked her. She was actually fine with it.
Basically, the moral of the story: If your crush is a true friend, they won’t care if you like them. They should continue to be your friend no matter what. And, who knows, they might even like you back!
I wish you the best of luck for coming out and telling your friend you like them. 🏳️🌈
