It’s a Famous product of a Hokkaido company, I have wanted to make this cake. I have leftover sponge cake and leftover cheese so it's time to make this famous cake. If you wanna make something special, this is the recipe, you go for!

Japanese eggs are so orange!?! It's crazy.
The healthier chickens will have darker, more flavorful yolks. Ours in the US will be the same way if they’re from free roaming chickens.

Hi there, i try our your recipe.i am confused. There is no cake flour element for the base layer yet, yours look like a sponge cake but mine not so much. Also the volume that you provide. I find it way little like the eggs volume. You mention 60g and 1 egg but i get a volume way less than the video after mixing. I am putting it to chill, will see how it goes.
