I don't have rabbits yet, I am still prepping and preparing a plan for the future.
I have been trying to imagine a tattooing system for myself that would give me the identifying marks I'd want to know at a glance, without tattooing a long line of identifying marks on its ear. I haven't been able to think of a way that would tell me all I want to know about that rabbit, without looking at a log book or adding 2 lines of tattoos in one ear.. 😆 Nothing I have thought of is informative enough without looking it up in a record book.
Like the Sire, the Dam, the year & month, so I know how old it is, and what ever else I may want to know at a glance at the tattoo.. So I know if its one I bred or not..

Is it ok to breed two broken colored rex rabbits together?? How common are “Charlie’s”

@ElleB509 yes it is OK to do that. Chances of Charlie's are higher. On average will get 50% broken, 50% Charlie's

Your rabbits seem very calm when you hold them. Do you handle all your rabbits a lot or are they just naturally calm? My rabbit used to freak out every time I tried to hold it.

I do not handle them a lot, this breed of rabbit the Rex has a good disposition.

Love the channel and i subscribed. I will say i think your not giving your dor and buck enough time together . My does never ever lift right away it usually takes 1-2 mounts from the buck. And then ill usually get 3-4 falls offs with her lifting immediately. Again just my observation. My breed times are usually 10-15 minutes.
