I've been back in Plaid world since last Saturday at printworks...shame the set was curtailed due to screen malfunction...I adore this band...have done for decades
Tomason fits my most precise apetites. It seems like a continuation of Scintilli's At last, one of my favourites. Also, I'm glad they're back with a more extensive inclusion of (for a lack of a better word) Plaidian femenine voices, which in the context of this album I can finally rest when I say that they sound like A.A.A. (Artificial Angelical Aliens).
I love that it is so unmistakably you, Plaid, yet you keep finding new grounds as well. Congrats on the new album and I will visit the Utrecht show! 😊
Plaid are the centre of the circle out of which all other sound forms oscillate ⚫⚫🟠🟠🟠⚪⚪
My CD arrived yesterday. Was supposed to be watching Max Cooper but was cancelled last minute so I listened to the CD in entirety on my good speakers with closed eyes. A fine night in. Well done, this is a masterpiece!

I started this video a year ago, then turned it off because it wasn’t what I wanted. Then I was missing plaid and continued the video and now I get it. Strange thing these guys. So many years now.
After 30 years they continue to amaze me!
It is all about 'Return to Return'. I played this again and again and again...
Completely different vibe from your other albums but still quintessentially Plaid. I'm so happy to hear another Plaid release. Bowl is my favourite, but there isn't a duff track on the album. I wasn't expecting Nightcrawler at all.
Thank you so much, Plaid. You guys are of my favourite artists and a great inspiration for me as a musician.

I've been a huge Plaid fan from the start.
The melodies, the intricate forms, the 'playfulness' and the 'elastic' sound elements, never fail to put a big grin on my face.

@@OFOTCN Nope. That's one side of the equation. Throwing away the baby with bath water and talking of others as not having individuality is just not factual. I read the same books as everybody else, and had my own experiences. Can't stand the superficial "love and light" bs anymore. It's all narratives with very little discernment applied to it.

Length is perfect. It’s the standout track for me. Love how the drums and bass be chilling under all the madness.
This is the problem with a lot of Plaids songs, never want them to end! This album is amazing guys I can’t wait to see you in January!!
I'm loving the album, pencilled in Manchester, Jazz Cafe and Brighton to catch this live, treats to make up for the two years without Plaid live shows. If you are wondering whether to go or not, just a quick work of advice, when i attended some of the Scintilli live shows (London, Manchester and Glasgow and Norwich) a lot of the tracks varied quite wildly between shows as they were extended, modulated and enhanced. So combined with some of these advanced visuals you will see something unique and special!

Was listening to a lot of the older albums lately and I got to say this one is really growing on me.
With Plaid I usually got pretty strong favorites on the releases and tend to overlook the rest.
This one though I am feeling is the most cohesive and while staying experimental it is still very digestable.
I also dig the overall positive vibe of the album even though cwtchr is bringing me on the verge of crying on times
plaid just grows and grows 🌱
As a genX, I grew up with Tangerine Dreams while the Future Sound of London drove me round the Orbital and ... Id wondered where it was all leading...
...never imagined Id end up wearing Plaid so comfortably ...

Saw them playing just last week in Folkestone. Proper amazing set, and after hearing the full album it sounds like they pretty much played this all live.

I haven't liked a Plaid release as much as I do this one in ages. I hadn't heard it until this week. This is amazing!
It has an "in the box" sound, as if made entirely with software. - If so it's INCREDIBLY well produced! 😮
