You know a Rogue Trader could make a great basis for a space faring rpg. Travelling to fantastic planets, having access to exotic weaponry, recruiting crew members among the many Imperium's many factions (possibly some Xenos crew members as well, though unlikely). Space Navel battles like the old space combat sims. Like the first two Mass Effect games. Storylines are literally limitless.
Considering there have already been 2 different tabletop RPGs where you can play a rogue trader, not to mention the very first edition of the wargame was NAMED Rogue Trader, I'm amazed there hasn't been a video game about them yet.
Captain Morgan, Drake, and the like. This is a great! I see the Golden Hind entering the sub sector. This is one group that I know very little about aside from Eisenhorn books.
Not much into the Rogue Traders, but good delivery nonetheless. Keep it up. Suggestion: since you've done Champions of Chaos before, how about doing something of Champions of the Imperium? You can do notable Space Marine Chapter Masters, Space Marines and Imperial Guard figures from Great Crusade up to the present. Also those of notable campaigns, crusades and battles (example: from the Unification Wars to the Indomitus Crusade).
I think that after the Horus Heresy any Rouge Trader who's warrants were signed by any of the traitors probably would have had to re apply for their warrants after spending months being probed by inquisitors to see where their loyalties lay.
To comparison with our history, I like to picture the likes of Marco Polo and Fernão de Magalhães as Rogue Traders. They were beyond the known world as scouts and traders, not as conquerors.
dude seriously love your videos but can PLEASE stop with ,, itself '' and ,, himself'' its probably just me but dear god XD there's only so much I can take.
A ship to sail. A crew to command. A retinue to recruit. A galaxy to trade. (And an Inquisition to irritate) A rogue spirit's paradise.

I want a Rogue-Trader themed "Firefly" type show now xD
That would be shiny.
Call it “Rouge stars”
I think it'd be more like Star Trek Voyager, only without pretending they're good people.
It won't be a true Rogue Trader game unless you take the sky away from someone.
A perpetual would be an amazing rogue trader.
Ah, Rogue Traders. They add some well needed panache and flair to the imperium of man. :)

I am a Rogue Trader from Krieg and thank you for covering this.
I didn't realise the Kriegsmen were capable of thinking in terms other than attrition warfare and self-martyrdom?
Liar. Fire!
Surprised you didn’t bring up House Arcadius, considering their major role in the Damocles Crusade.
Suggestion:What about a story on the Rogue Trade Ships?

I wonder if Horus signed many Warrants... he was one of the few diplomatic leaders of the primarchs.
Russ would probably sign anything if you could find him while he was in his cups.

One of the least gruesome existences among the imperium.
so rogue traders are basically privateers
Privateer + conquistador + CEO of merchant cartel + explorer .
