They are each honorary brothers and members of the elders of the universe. A kinda cosmic super villian team in marvel, each of the elders is yhe last survivor of their own unique race. Most of those races would have been the earliest intelligent life to form in the universe and then to have long ago died out except for the elders. Grandmaster and Loki have done some betting in the past using the lives of heroes as pawns in games. They are all powerful but more in a tech and intelligence way. Like Kang or tony stark if he lives long enough to expand on his own tech. The entire group was still no match for thanos and the infinity gauntlet, but strong enough to manipulate the average hero and get away with it. I always enjoyed the hell out of the elders.

23:32 GOOD GUESS, BUT NOT QUITE! Things in the comic books were different, No spoilers here, just old stuff. In the comics The Grandmaster and Collector thought themselves brothers. There was a group of immortal beings called The Elders of the Universe. Each was the last of their species and survive boredom and suicide by taking a hobby that never ends. The Collector collects special things. The Grandmaster plays all sorts of games, The Gardener brought new life to planets and so on.

Hella, and a character called “God Killer” who could manifest blade weapons at will.

If you're referring to Gorr the God Butcher, he is appearing in the next Thor movie. And no he wasn't inspiration for Hela. Hela just has the ability to manipulate magical energies and create illusions, much like how Loki can conjure daggers. She too can conjure weapons but to a much grander scale.
