I used to do things she did while getting ready, one time I braided my hair and dipped them in water and didn’t understand what I was doing wrong because it didn’t come out looking like hers. I have always thought black women were generally more beautiful than any other race of women because of their hair mostly. I haven’t thought about that lady in such a long time, thanks for unlocking a good memory ❤
I have regular locs and my hair is a little shorter than yours after 4 years. Locs show you what your hair is for real. I was natural most of my life, too. My hair never grew past my shoulders. Man, my hair is so long now.
I’ve been debating for a hot minute… I just don’t know what to do. Glad I’ve found your channel. ❤ I keep seeing videos saying “sister locs/micro locs are meant for 4c hair” and in so many ways it just makes sense. I’m scared. I don’t even know why.
Go ahead and get them but get like mirco not sister locs. I have mirco they are in the middle of my back pass my bra strap. I love them and wish I would have gotten them earlier in my life
@@Kallenxo I love them! I know it can be nerve-wracking to jump in but Sisterlocks really do feel like freedom. Also, if its because of the costs, there are trainees who may charge a bit less :)
It’s fun to try different styling techniques 🤭 since my hair’s gotten long, I’ve noticed rollers haven’t been working as well. I plan to give them another try soon! 💗
Actually women from the 90s who started sisterlocs promoted heat styling. Everyone is free to do whatever they want with THEIR hair. But I guess you wouldn't know that.

Do it! I'm 18mo in, and it's the best decision I've made for my hair. I do my own reties to save money. My hair has gotten longer and thicker since.
