Thanks for your transparency. Your SLs are beautiful. I had micro braid locks installed (because I didn’t know the difference between SL and ML) in 2017 but cut them off in 2022 because my crown was thinning and I panicked. I miss them so much. I’ve been taking Nutroful supplements that cost $80 something per month. If I see a significant difference after 6 months I’ll consider sisterlocks. I’ve seen a number of SL women posting about their challenges with alopecia but I can’t see any thinning because the locks are so full and beautiful. Thx again. Take care of yourself!
Thanks! As I read through the comments, I realize that I may have left out 3 important factors: my crown has been a problem area for years, I had radiation treatment in 2019-I’m not sure if it’s impact on my body over time, and the last few years have been quite stressful!
Love your hair Crista! Very interesting point you make about not traveling with your hair down! I feel like I’ll be the same way as my locs get longer. I hear the coils falling out are normal! Just normal wear and tear on the ends of your hair.
A trichologist may have more information for you being that they specialize in hair loss sis. I just sent my mother to one and she was able to give her a lot of great information about the same thing.
@@CristaStylista your hair has grown a lot. I was waiting for you to give us a 360 which you turn to the side but I was looking for like the back. My hair is getting long as well and I'm so happy with your progress. You said you have alopecia but honestly I can't tell
Hey Lady! Great channel. Have you tried collagen peptides for hair loss and strength? Brand I use is Vital Proteins. Consider trying the following vitamins if you don't currently take these. Magnesium glycinate, liquid iron, collagen, b12, b complex
Hi Crista! I too take biotin, b12 and magnesium supplements and I drink a lot of water daily which naturally keeps my hair moisture inside out..I'm also plant based in diet so lots veggies and I make great none meat recipes❤ I LOVE your hair...VERY 😍 pretty..I'm almost 3 years and hair touching shoulders..I'm 62 years young and no worries about gray hair...just enjoying total freedom and feeling more enhanced and beautiful❤❤❤
I love how your hair always seems voluminous but not pin straight.
Thank you! I’m not a big fan of the pin straight look on me.

Thank you! Yes, those coils go away. My ends are more frizzy than curly these days!
When I was a loose natural I never lat my hair touch an unknown chair, now that I’m loc’d…nothing has changed
Yep! You’ll catch me with an updo while traveling for sure!
Your locs are gorgeous!
Thank you!

Vitamin d deficiency can cause hair loss as well.
Is a 4point rotation install 3 point or 2 point rotation install?
