Wow, are kookaburras normally okay with being petted, or are these two just really tame? I've only seen them in a zoo and they did seem pretty laid back and chilled out 😎. I love them!
Many kookaburras (mostly the ones that live in suburban areas with plenty of trees) are fine with being petted! Depending on the individual bird, some may be a bit more skittish than others, depending on how much contact they've had with humans.
You can't possibly hope to simply.. REPLACE the original piece of meat! The affection value is clearly through the roof!!
