You showed the features of this bargain lens adaptor very well in your video. It appears to work surprisingly well for close in macro or not too distant wide angle. I did see a review of the lens kit with some outside images at a distance. The wide angle lens seems to show it's shortfalls here. I will purchase one for a play until I can afford some more pricey lenses. Thanks Mike.
I have never used a wide angle adapter before. Considering it for my FZ-10002. But let me make sure I understand it correctly: does the wide angle require you to also mount the macro section onto the lens? I am a bit worried that the more weight I put on the lens, the faster the zoom motor will wear out, even doing just minor adjustments. And what is the dioptre of the macro part? Is it better than these thin circular "macro filters."
I was thinking it would be a phone clip kit (I have a macro + wide + fisheye kit). Back in my film camera days, had a Pentax ME Super, with a 50mm and a 135mm, a coupler ring to put them together for macro, and a 2x teleconverter... the 135 on the 2x was quite a snooperscope
The coupler ring has two filter mount threads, putting the lenses together face to face, using the front lens as a macro adapter, also prone to vignetting
I have a GoPro 9 that I use in the Ulanzi G9-5 cage which has a 52mm thread built in. A few people have recommended I invest in one of these lenses, would you recommend this? I know the lens is available in 52mm form but is it worth using with a GoPro?
@@mikesunboxing rapid reply! 😃 yeah I was thinking the same regarding the wide angle, plus I have the max lens mod. I think I’ll invest and see how it goes :) thanks for your help!
i want to use one for the canon g7x mark ii ( i know youre thinking why? but just wait lol) i have the same exact product with 58mm. what measurement adapter do i need to attach to the canon in order to achieve a very good wide angle?
What if you use a filther thread adapter on the Neewer? Example is the 14mm f2.5 with a 46mm filter thread and a 58mm thread on the Neewer, which you'll need a 46-58mm filter thread adapter, will the vignettes and distortion disappear?
Macro adapter that does not give you macro and wide angle adaptér you have to crop to actually get the original focal length. Who would just throw 20 bucks through the window?
@@mikesunboxing A good all purpose photo camera that also records video for around $100 usd would be nice. I've seen some on Amazon, but not sure which are worth the money. Any help would be much appreciate. Thanks.
I have a Helios 58mm but my sensor is aps-c. Do you think this adapter is a good option to get a look similar to what a full frame would look with the same lens?

to be honest i don't know the answer to the technical questions, so i can't comment on those, but the lens does attach to the existing lens
AND THAT WHY THEY RECOMEND DOING IT MANUALLY TURNING OF THE AUTOMATIC ZOOM

Go pro is pretty wide already but this will help will macro shots maybe? Or as a lens protection

@@christiansimmons630 No problem :-)
do you think it is possible to film just with wide len (not macro) to get wider shot? or possibly if its possible to remove the macro glass
i don't think so with the version i have, but it may have changed design over the years
@@mikesunboxing I've already sorted it out. Thanks
Glad to hear that ;-) @@janholub1638

Will something like this work on full frame cameras?
It should
Full frame at 28mm for example will be fine u think?
Hi!!! Will it be usefull with an Lumix FZ-300??? Beste Wishes from Germany!!
Yes, absolutely just make sure you get the version with the right lens thread size
@@mikesunboxing Cool, thank you!!!! I will use the Adapter from Panasonic und 55mm Best Wishes!!!
Thanks man this really helped
No problem 👍
thanks, good 'sketchy' review!
works for me ^^
Good to hear!
Hi Mike, did the lens affect the way the camera communicated?
no it was exactly the same but the autofocus was a bit off
Hi does anyone knoiw if using a stepp up ring from 58mm to 67mm and then adding a 67mm adapter will reduce vinietting and give a sharper image?
not sure sorry, but in theory it makes sense
Hi mate whats the filter screw in size on the end of the lens so i know what ND filters to buy?
looks like 84mm to me
@@mikesunboxing thanks mate been searching everywhere for answers on the screw in size for filters

the macro does give macro effect, and the wide is wider?
Can use it for T6 canon?
there are a few lens size options just get the one that matches the size written on your lens
Will these work on portrait lenses ?
should work on any lens that has that screw on mount
thanks fir the review nice
Thanks for watching at this very unique time in our lifetime
anyone tried this on a gopro hero 5?
not me

Thank you so much!
your viewing tastes are very wide, like this lens adaptor
This is basicly useless for proffesional work
Yes professionals would not dream of using a cheap lens like this
I have a Helios 58mm but my sensor is aps-c. Do you think this adapter is a good option to get a look similar to what a full frame would look with the same lens?
it will give a similar viewing area but it won't match the full frame quality, but will give a wider look and feel
