I would love to see a video on all the stitch fix items that you've bought over the years. What lasted? What do you still wear? What have you regretted?
If you click on the item, you can see all the details on it....material it's made of, if it's stretchy or not, etc. I always open up the ones I'm interested in to find out more about them! Hope this helps!
To be fair I feel your style is really hard to pick.. your stylist has a challenge thats for sure. Ive watched you from the beginning and what I get most from you is tie dye, striped tees, hoodies and cardigans.
I wouldn't call it a style as much as she keeps repeating that word. She likes one and only dress shape, very pin up girly accentuating the waist and with an A line, no cleavage. She has this same dress in every color and pattern. Which is odd because everything else she likes is shapeless for the sake of comfort. Ugly sweaters and cardigans, ugly rompers, if they're stretchy/baggy/soft she'll be fine with it. Cant even tell the difference between good or bad fabric she just likes it being soft. She should let someone else style her for a video, of course she'd hate it but she'd look good for once.
I would like to see her get into sewing, honestly. I am a very similar body type to her and the same size. I don't live in the USA and I have a very girly style and I love east asian fashion and I am picky with textures and fabrics. I also have huge bust which makes almost everything that isn't a shift dress fit badly or not at all. Sewing my own clothes has given me so much joy. I think Cassie and a lot of her viewers would really enjoy a sewing journey.

The bandana dress was not good, but I loved the navy polka dot dress. My new rule for buying clothes is that it has to make me do the happy dance in the change room. No more settling for pieces that are just okay…
That's true! Don't settle! But I think the bandana dress was a keeper! It's a little flowy and summery! She could add a long silver necklace and some cute sneakers! The polka dress is an absolute keeper! 10/10!
That's exactly what I thought but then I tried googling the knit romper from Kaileigh and couldn't find any information. Only people selling it on Poshmark without mentioning the fabric. I haven't tried googling the other articles though.
Cassie has mentioned before that even washing cold on the delicate cycle & air drying has caused her clothes to shrink/warp. I haven't experienced that myself (unless I bought an item from a brand that doesn't pre-shrink their fabrics), but this is what she's said she has experienced. 🤷♀️
I only buy rayon or cotton for summer now. It can be mixed with a little spandex, Poly etc, but nothing breathes like it! They are magical fabrics, especially if you have trouble with over heating or are in weather above 20°! ❤❤

I love these videos! Is there a reason why you can’t tell your stylist that you don’t want rayon/other things you know you won’t like? I’ve always wondered this because they always send you something Rayon and it’s usually a deal breaker no matter cute, understandably. I’m happy that you’re giving this dress a try, it looks greats on you. ❤
You are allowed to be picky. After all, it's your money. I never keep an item that doesn't bring me joy or make me feel like I can't wait to wear it. I also dont like cheap fabric as it just doesn't hold up. The polka dot dress is the clear winner
I think your choice of only the navy dress was good! It looked really nice!! I think in the past I’ve had success with washing/drying Rayon with a very short time in the dryer to help with reducing wrinkles then hanging to dry all the way. I think I recall having to press/iron a little. Maybe a laundry steamer would work (I don’t have one but would like one!)
As a fellow wide foot haver, you should try a set of shoe stretchers! I think only one of my synthetic pairs wouldnt stretch at all (probably my cheapest heels) and it made all the difference for my shoes actually fitting. I actually need to get my roller skates stretched still. I don't have boot shaped stretchers yet, i haven't decided if I'd rather have a cobbler do it instead.
I’m confused as to why the camera is too close. We can not see the whole item on you. You always show a full view & the camera angles are always great. This try-on????
If would be so fun to see you buy a sewing machine and learning to sew. I started sewing my own clothes because I wasn't happy with what is available to me. I'm about the same size as you and a similar body type. I live in china where fabric is dirt cheap. I love Chinese fashion especially the hyper feminine modest style with big Bertha and victorian collars and lots of frills, florals and lace but I can't find that in my size, in my budget and in fabrics I like. I have created and upcycled so many items this summer and I am in love with them. I am happier with my wardrobe than I ever have been and I love to sew. After having 3 kids and being a stay at home parent I am finally doing something for myself that I enjoy and fills my free time. I also don't have the urge to shop nearly as much. Your style is slightly different from mine but you can suit any style and body type when you make it yourself. It would be such a joy seeing you get into it.
Ah, I love that. My SIL use to sew all the time. Because they were on a tight budget whenever one of her daughters would see something they liked but couldn't afford she was able to recreate it without a pattern. I have a sewing machine but I've only used it to hem items, mainly pants that are to long for me and my child. I wish I had that ability to just create a piece but I don't. Once I tried to make an outfit with a pattern. That didn't go over too well 😕 but I love what you're doing. Most, like myself would just move on from having the piece because we know we can't duplicate it. Not you though. You're making that machine work for you. Well done. Enjoy your wardrobe... 😉
I love that blue polka dot one you kept, it's adorable on you. I thought the same way about that jumpsuits. They both looked great on you! I'm sure you could find something similar in a fabric that works for you somewhere else. Great video Cassie!
I own a few Kaleigh jumpsuits I got on ThredUp and honestly I feel like they’re super good quality and the material breathes just fine. So don’t count them completely out just because of the brand! I thought it looked super cute on you, but I get not feeling good in a material.
Yay! Stitch Fix tiiiiiiime! Stay cool.💜 EDIT: I wonder if there's an option to not include a certain designer in your order?🤔 Since you know you don't like the Kayleigh brand, maybe they can omit it next time.
The only thing I'm disappointed in is that you weren't so excited for most of the items because they all looked so good on you! Dress #1 10/10 Dress #2 9.5/10 Jumper #1 10/10 Jumper #2 9/10 with a black bra Sandals 10/10 I understand that it's important to also feel good in the clothes. But $150 for all of those pieces is a bargain!
I’m not 100% sure, but I think the first round of the preview picks are computer generated, then if you need other items a stylist picks them. I could be wrong 🤷♀️
I like the MIA brand sandals from Stitch Fix but I feel like they are over priced for what they are. I received an olive green pair that I kept despite the price tag because they were exactly what I was looking to add to my wardrobe and pretty comfy too. I like a flat shoe with zero drop and they were pretty close... three weeks in I left them out and my dog chewed the strap off one 😂
The jumpsuit looked really nice on you! It also frames your neck/upper back tattoo very well! I think you should get the bfs opinion on it, cause it is very flattering on ya! I know its hard to go outside the comfort zone though❤
Hahaha your reaction to the yellow skirt made me laugh😂😂😂You and I are the same. We like Navy and poka dots!! The dress is soooo cute on ya!! You are such a cool person and are one of my favorite RUclipsrs!
Cassie, I really love the navy polkadot dress!! Looks great on you! I enjoy your “try-on” videos. I shop at Ross, Stich Fix is too expensive for me, but I understand the attraction as it’s fun! Lookin good Cassie!!! 💗💗
I have my first Fix coming. I am 100% returning everything. 3/5 items are over the budget I told them. I said no long sleeves and no sweaters (I am getting a long sleeve knit top and a freaking sweater). I said I like dark denim, so I am getting a very light blue distressed pair of jeans). The 2 items in my price range are tees ... for $48 and $29. Why would I pay that much for a tee when I can get them for under $20.
I look forward to these even though I think their pricing on most pieces are outrageous but this fix. I couldn't tell the pieces apart from one another due to how close in color they were. So I have no advice for you on the fix but I do on further fixes. I've been saying this for a while now but I'd really love to see you go out of your comfort zone and try on pieces you normally would say no to right off the bat. Like that pink dress for example. There's another creator I watch from time to time who has a very similar body to yours. She would have grabbed that pink dress so fast, lol. Since it's rare that you keep everything from a fix trying a few pieces every now again that you normally wouldn't would be amazing. You may just find some winners. Please think about doing this. Just curious. Isn't that MIA brand of shoes carried in JC Penny's? Lastly. Do yourself a favor and head on out to your local Walmart. I purchased 2 house dresses that weren't only cheap in cost but so comfy. One has pockets too. One's pink and white. The other is blue with some purple running through it. Even though I paid full price which again they weren't expensive at all, right now they have what's left out on clearance. Can you believe they're already putting out cold weather clothes now 😮 Anyhoo, still enjoyed the video. Do enjoy what you decided to keep... 💜
Really cute polka dot dressw!!! The next shapless dress wasa a little tight over the boobage area but was still cute. The black jumpsuit is actually really cute on u. sandals really cute!!! Make one more small hole if they feel like they are a little snug. Just don't dry the rayon maybe you'll be lucky!!!
The polka dot dress looked great on you!! I liked both jump suits on you, the second one looked the best!! Not a fan of the paisley/bandana dress, it needed a belt or something… I canceled my Stitch Fix today. I was so disappointed from the last 3 fixes. I’ll try again maybe in the Winter…
So unpopular opinion, but I actually liked the other dress more than the polka dot one! Both were cute, I just preferred the other more. Same with the low cut jumpsuit you didn’t love - I thought it was quite flattering!
I used to LOVE rayon. But: I always had it dry cleaned. Also, in general, I only wash my underwear and socks and only if they get dirty will I wash pants or shirts. And I don't put a single thing except my ancient Jockey fitness socks, in the dryer. Only buy what you love, girl. I bought a ton of stuff in the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and most of it went back!
Can’t you just hand wash the dress? Or does any contact with water shrink the rayon material? I’m not familiar with that material in the UK. It might be called something else here.
Not too excited about the dresses. I like the bottom of the first one, but the top, I wish the sleeves were the flowy spaghetti strap. You get some shoulder coverage from the material, but your arm is not completely covered. I loved the rompers. They look good on you, and the booty is poppin', lol. If the material on the 1st one had been different, would you have considered it? Cute haul 😊. Thanks for sharing Cass❤

Rayon diesnt shrink if you wash by hand in cold water and hang dry.
Who has time for that.
I think You chose well. The blue polka dot is definitely very good on you. Just try hang drying it and of course wash in cold water.
If I don't want my clothing to shrink I wash in cold water and dry on medium heat. I have quite a bit of rayon in my closet and never have an issue.

Wash your clothes in cold water and hang dry the items your worries about.
Can you ask them not to send certain brands?
Rayon today is the same. Some clothing co's prewash preshrink their rayon. But dont risk it -wash in cold and hang dry no where near a source of heat❤
I LOVE the polka dot dress on you. Great choice!🤗
The navy polka dot is a win!
Yep, the blue locker dot dress was lovely on you… good choice 🤘
Hope you’re doing well Cassie! Love your videos 😊 hope your job is doing good too!
Both jumpsuits look good on you. 😊
Love the poka dot on you. Then you tried the other blue dress. Compared to the polka dot it kind of made you washed out.
The polka dot dress looked great on you!! I liked both jump suits on you, the second one looked the best!! Not a fan of the paisley/bandana dress, it needed a belt or something…
I canceled my Stitch Fix today. I was so disappointed from the last 3 fixes. I’ll try again maybe in the Winter…
Rayon from Old Navy shrunk for me.
So unpopular opinion, but I actually liked the other dress more than the polka dot one! Both were cute, I just preferred the other more. Same with the low cut jumpsuit you didn’t love - I thought it was quite flattering!
The navy and white dress you didn't like would have looked very well on you with a narrow belt.
For the second dress put a small elastic on the inside and it will make make some dimension on the dress so i gets some form
Wear tops under tank or spaghetti straps for super look🎉
the sandals look too small
Those skirts would look good over leggings
Cute! Not a bad idea ❤
Don't you see the comments? noone wants to see them anymore...we wanna see thrift store hauls
Try the jumpsuit you like with a teeshirt under it before you decide
I'm in Oklahoma City and it is SO hot here too!
When my fix came with the note missing I contacted customer service and they emailed me the stylist note.
Love the blue polka dot dress on you really pretty.
Yeah the polka dot dress was indeed chef kiss on you and was my favorite, the rest was meh.
I like the polka dot dress on you the best.
