After watching several Stitch Fix try-on videos, I know that I just can't trust a stranger to pick out clothes for me, and the prices just don't make it for me. I just bought a pile of cashmere sweaters for about $50 each on clearance, so those SF prices, especially for rather average clothes, isn't giving me the warm fuzzies.
The 25 year old box clothing looked more mature than the 50 year old box. The fit and flare dress looked juvenile because of the print. The workout wear was fine but it isn't what I would want in a style box unless I specifically requested exercise gear. It seems like people who get really good boxes are the ones that fill out the feedback boxes and rate things on their site. Also, linking Pinterest boards.
I feel your pain about the peach 🍑 colored top. As an olive 🫒 girl myself orange, peach and yellow is just not my thing either. I love the back of the top you chose. My back and my rear end are my best features and it’s hard to find styles that show off those features.
That is so funny because I did the same thing with Stitch fix and.. all of them actually (Daily look etc)I changed my age because I don't dress like a 51-year-old grandma but I am a 51-year-old grandma I like fun trendy clothes so it's really funny to see that somebody else thought the same thing.
I would never bother with a clothing subscription box, I'm 47 and can't imagine getting anything I'd care for. My style is very eclectic and I find thrifting is what works best for me wether it's in person or online and because it's so affordable I feel better about experimenting with my style, by the way you can get away with literally wearing anything including a potato sack and make it look great lol. I also agree the items look like they are randomly chosen, it seems a bit scammy.
@@DidiStyle well if you do I'll definitely watch your thrifting adventures, it can be a bit overwhelming but it's so much fun , like a treasure hunt, there will be good days and bad days, thredUP makes it easier as you can search by style, size, brand, etc 😊
It's a junk sale with made up prices. None of the clothes are worth more than 10 quid each. That service is not made to style you or "up their game" but to get rid of overpriced crap some gullible bored women with more money than sense will buy.
Girl math is saying something is only $22 because you already paid $20. 😝 I’m the same way! And the purple and black dresses looked great on you. I’m waiting for my first Short Story box. Never tried subscription before, so I’m excited! I liked your comparison of boxes.
I actually had two favorites (one from each age range). The Marine Layer black dress looked very good on you. Could see it being used for dressing up or casual dressing. But my top favorite was Kaileigh Amandine Dress. It was a good fit on you and did not look too young for you. Just my opinion. Enjoyed the video.
Liked this experiment. I think you looked lovely in many of the pieces. You’re smart, though, to be picky and to wait for the wow factor. Enjoyed your presentation. New subscriber here ❤
This just proves they put five random things in a box. There was no difference between the two boxes. I had the style pass and didn’t even bother. Not worth the time
Nope. Both boxes are a miss. I get Stitch fix and flower prints, stripes, and animal prints are OFF limits. I’m 45 and I’m over those. The Yoga top is the only thing but even with the credit I wouldn’t get it. Save your credit for next time. Thank you for sharing ❤😊
Im surprised, actually the 50 years old box content looks better than the 25 years old box. Lol I think the clothes are cooler and the colours are nice too , they fit you. But I don like the grey shorts . And seriously, you are 50?? I would say 38 or 42
I watched another StichFix video recently from another RUclipsr. Seems to me the clothes overall are kinda bland but pricey. I appreciate you doing these so I don't try something that is probably not for me. I thought the black dress looked very lovely on you. Too bad the quality was not that great and the price was high. I also liked the flower dress on you. Those were my favorites. I probably would have sent it all back as nothing was different enough to make it worth the price.
I agree completely. Everything is dated and worn out. Tired looking and the shoes are the worst. My goodwill is so much better. People save your money.
Hi my honest opinion that first vest top in the 50 yo box its awful for a 50 yo or a 25 yo especially a 50 that tie design at both sides of the bust whats that about and €48 no wayyyyy I'd not pay @ dollar for that sorryyyy

Yes! I completely get it! It is always better to wait for sales! Thanks for watching, E Dennis!
Also find straight sizes get getting stuff… I’m plus size and all the clothes have been horrible

I totally agree! Thank you for watching!
Both boxes seemed like 25 year old boxes to me. Everything looks good on you!!
The 25 box was way better in my opinion. I really liked that plaid halter, but 100+ is just overpriced.
Yes! It was cute, but not that impressive to be 100 or more.
Ewww Nobody likes Peach 🍑 come on Stitchfix. I really like the short Dress and the cool Nine Britton top that has different back.
I feel your pain about the peach 🍑 colored top. As an olive 🫒 girl myself orange, peach and yellow is just not my thing either. I love the back of the top you chose. My back and my rear end are my best features and it’s hard to find styles that show off those features.
I loved, loved the peach Free People top on you the best! You are absolutely stunning! :)
Awwww You are so sweet! Thank you!
The last top you picked really looks nice on you good choice....
Love the piece you chose. Definitely my favorite piece you were sent. I’ve been so disappointed with my fixes lately..probably canceling

How can I edit my age on my stitch fix account? Please help, thank you so much

Yes I am in the midst of learning how to thrift! Hopefully I will have the courage to make a video about it! Thanks for watching!

The 108 something dollars top made me scream inside
Yes I feel like some things are worth it, but sometimes I am so confused as to how the powers that be think about their pricing.
It’s time for Stitch Fix to up their game!

Agree with the piece you chose! Would never pay that much for the Plaid top

Thank you, Meema! Things look way better on camera. I think it's the lighting?

Thank you so much!
The prices are crazy.
The only thing I like is the shirt your keeping.
Same, Molly, Same. Thanks for watching!
Hi Didi! I'm trying to figure out how you managed to have two different Stitch fix boxes out at the same time. 🤣
Me too lol.
This just proves they put five random things in a box. There was no difference between the two boxes. I had the style pass and didn’t even bother. Not worth the time

I like the plaid top but it is pricey! The Nine Britton top is really cute on you.
Yes Thanks!
I like the black midi dress. (for myself) 😂
It is cute, I Just have enough black dresses lol.
@@DidiStyle One can never have enough black!
@@itziebitz Lol I like color!
Interesting experiment.
How can I edit my age on my stitch fix account? Please help , thank you so much!
I just signed up for Stitch fix and I am regretting it. Everything is dowdy and really basic, no style at all.
I will do a video on how to fix that!
Nine Bretton looks good
Maxi dress is cute
No way would I pay $109 for that plaid top. Not much of anything in either box and what you kept was the best.
Yes and I found it odd that it was in the 25 y.o. box!
idk if you're really 50 or not, but dude i really wanna look like you when i'm 50
I am 50! Healthy living, exercise, good eating, good sleep habits, sunscreen and skincare.
Im surprised, actually the 50 years old box content looks better than the 25 years old box. Lol
I think the clothes are cooler and the colours are nice too , they fit you.
But I don like the grey shorts .
And seriously, you are 50?? I would say 38 or 42
Hello Princesa! Thank you! I have always worked hard on my skincare and health:)
Everything was pretty meh for me. I liked the yoga top the best.
Thank you so much for watching, Ivy!
7:40 that dress makes you look very cute.

Yes it's kinda odd. I love the convenience of StitchFix though... Thank you for watching!
I like the short dress on you
I quit Stitch Fix I would not wear any of either box, Their prices and clothes look like they came out of a GoodWill Store Ugh
I agree completely. Everything is dated and worn out. Tired looking and the shoes are the worst. My goodwill is so much better. People save your money.
@@cheryldimanno1314 I've been circuiting the thrift stores around my community and have been so impressed with what I have found! Such bargains!
No on the plad too loose
