25 or 50?! Does your "age" change what you get in a StitchFix box?

After watching several Stitch Fix try-on videos, I know that I just can't trust a stranger to pick out clothes for me, and the prices just don't make it for me. I just bought a pile of cashmere sweaters for about $50 each on clearance, so those SF prices, especially for rather average clothes, isn't giving me the warm fuzzies.

The 25 year old box clothing looked more mature than the 50 year old box. The fit and flare dress looked juvenile because of the print. The workout wear was fine but it isn't what I would want in a style box unless I specifically requested exercise gear.
It seems like people who get really good boxes are the ones that fill out the feedback boxes and rate things on their site. Also, linking Pinterest boards.

The 25 box was way better in my opinion. I really liked that plaid halter, but 100+ is just overpriced.

I would never bother with a clothing subscription box, I'm 47 and can't imagine getting anything I'd care for. My style is very eclectic and I find thrifting is what works best for me wether it's in person or online and because it's so affordable I feel better about experimenting with my style, by the way you can get away with literally wearing anything including a potato sack and make it look great lol. I also agree the items look like they are randomly chosen, it seems a bit scammy.

It's a junk sale with made up prices.
None of the clothes are worth more than 10 quid each.
That service is not made to style you or "up their game" but to get rid of overpriced crap some gullible bored women with more money than sense will buy.

I actually had two favorites (one from each age range). The Marine Layer black dress looked very good on you. Could see it being used for dressing up or casual dressing. But my top favorite was Kaileigh Amandine Dress. It was a good fit on you and did not look too young for you. Just my opinion. Enjoyed the video.

I watched another StichFix video recently from another RUclipsr. Seems to me the clothes overall are kinda bland but pricey. I appreciate you doing these so I don't try something that is probably not for me. I thought the black dress looked very lovely on you. Too bad the quality was not that great and the price was high. I also liked the flower dress on you. Those were my favorites. I probably would have sent it all back as nothing was different enough to make it worth the price.
