The age tip is a great idea. I subscribe to both boxes and have been loving Wantable more. I get a little frustrated with all the polyester from Stitch Fix. I used to think they sent me those type of pieces because I'm plus size, but I see you getting the same type of pieces. If I want natural fabrics, I need to spend $150+ for a top. Wantable, however, regularly sends natural fabrics for nowhere near that price.
Hi Samantha. By far I have to vote for the Wantable edit. The styles and colors and variety of items were a good start for the spring season. I think it all suited you well. You pretty much got what you asked for. The quality seems so much better. I currently have both of these clothing boxes and find that I keep more higher end items from Wantable that I don’t mind investing in because they are made better and I don’t look like the cookie cutter stitch fix dressed woman with all the same kind of clothes box after box. I have had stitch fix since they started years ago and I can pull out tops that STILL Look like todays stuff. I hate that. So I decluttered them to goodwill. I will say stitch fix is good for shoes and other accessories if that’s what ya want but again you have to specify over and over I want leather footwear only. In style and what I request. What I don’t like with them is the very few items I requested for special occasions or just something that I fell in love with I never got to this day. Which pisses me off. I send the entire box right back and the next one is almost same thing. I even called them to ask why can’t I get what I ask for told to increase my price points. I said that’s been done for over a year. Still no pieces I requested. I was told to shop freestyle. Well I responded with isn’t the perk of buying all to get 25% off where freestyles you pay full price what’s that do for me ? I may divorce stitch fix not sure yet. Wantable on the other hand sends me many requested items and I do far better with them. I have given stitch fix more than 9 years of my money and time I want what I want. I don’t want old lady polyester tops that circle around every season of every year. Why can’t they get it right. I wear small tops and 4/27 size jeans and pants the jeans aren’t too bad with stitch fix honestly but the tops… dear god someone needs to hire a new buyer!!!! I look 25 on bottom half and 75 on top with stitch fix. Wantable I’m in style period! What do we do. Sorry so long a response no way to shorten an honest response.
We’re in rain and cloudy… it’s warmer - 50s & 60s which is great - beats the freezing to 40s we had a little bit ago. Totally weird weather for SoCal for sure! Love the idea of changing my age! That would change things up a bit which I would like!! Thanks! The Wantable - the color on the that tank is amazing. The fit / style on the puffed sleeves is great - the v is good! The color on the Dex tank is waay to bright for me, but looks great on you. LOVE the dress! Looks great on you. Adore the pockets & hem too!!! Shorts are cute - don’t look see thru - pairs well with the tanks. OMG that sundress is SOOO cute - screams your name - very happy! I don’t wear colors that bright but it is a very happy dress!! WOW on the pink jeans - love that color much better - fit looks great and I’ve seen you with tops that would match so great! StitchFix box - the blue on the tank is pretty - the back is really nice, but we’ve seen it before. I could see you taking that dress when you are going to the beach & visiting your family. You need to keep that one for sure!! Don’t like the jeans - color seems off to me and I agree on the thin leg, I don’t like them either. The mabel dress is too big - color is ok - don’t like - the other one is much better. OMG - was waiting to see the try on of the Kate Spade dress - It looks SO good on you - the sleeves are great! Don’t know what you’re going to do! Wantable was more what you were looking for in colors and spring style, but StitchFix had a couple of great pieces.
I use both companies and I love both for different reasons! I feel SF is really good if you keep the same stylist and they get to know you and I think they have new management. I like Wantable for the sleep and body edits mainly. I am a size 16 misses and I do not like size 16plus pants so therefore, I do not like Wantable for Jeans and pants since they only go up to size 14 in misses where as SF goes up to 16 in misses until they switch to plus size (if you are this size you know what I am talking about). The same with tops SF has XXL in tops which gives you more options if you are XL/XXL. Wantable only goes up XL and then sends you to plus size for a 1X/2X which is not the same as XL/XXL. I hope this helps for someone the same size category as me!
I definitely like Wantable more than stitch fix for myself. As a plus sized person, I feel like both boxes can be pretty bland and boring - I don’t think they have a large inventory in their plus size section, but every now and again wantable will throw in something a bit more fun. I think your Wantable definitely won - that pink and Orange dress looks so cute on you!
Thanks for doing this comparison! I haven't used Wantable before but have used Stitch Fix a couple of times in the past. I agree with you on Stitch Fix! Wantable seems to be a box that's more on trend than Stitch Fix. My new favorite place to shop is Judith and Joe and I found out about them through one of your videos. I love that it's ethical clothes but affordable!
I loved the wantable edit for you! I actually get both, but feel the same as you do about stitch fix. Thanks for doing the comparison. I absolutely loved the bold pink and orange dress!
Omg!!! Wantable was just made for you girlfriend!! It’s like it was designed for your personality, body type and overall energy. I love it!! I really need to try Wantsble and that pink/orange dress is everything!!!!
What a great video, Samantha! I'm with you- Clothing subscription boxes are the way to go for me. Plus, we live out of town, and I drive a big truck. What I save in gas and time is more than worth any extra I spend on clothing from these services.
Everything Wantable is sooooo you!! The colors, style, etc! 😍 Yeah, i kinda agree with you about Stitch Fix...they tend to send the same ole same Daniel Rainn style...not a big fan of that anymore...😦
Wantable was definitely more you! You looked happier in more of their items than stitch fix! So I just ordered my first wantable sleep and body edit… I’m so excited! I used to always be Victoria’s Secret but I’m finding I don’t like much of their style anymore. I’m hoping I find some things that I love!
Stitch fix. I'd keep the green dress and nothing else. I like the black dress but if you don't have a need for that item right now it's not worth it. Win to wantable
Hi Samantha. I thought all the clothes looked nice on you but I'd say Wantable came out ahead. The pink and orange dress is a fun and happy dress. The Kate Spade dress was nice on you too.
I would say that although I wouldn't personally wear everything in the Wantable. I loved them all on you. Which helps me so much on seeing you in colors because it makes it easier for me to see what colors would look great on my niece. The Stitch Fix one, I superisingly liked the green and white dress on you; I would have never given that dress a second look in a store. I think the Kate Spade was crazy priced and that you needed a smaller size, but it was a cute dress on you. The rest of that box were all a hard no for me.
I was really happy with Wantable. I stopped only because of a family emergency and hope to be able to go back. I haven’t tried Stitch Fix but now that I know they do plus size I will check them out. I’m 66 years old, a working professional, 5’2 and 184 lbs.
Letting you know I got something saying I had won Haul Box. So excited never have😢won anything. I am 68 and not text savvy. I went back to your video and compared what you showed us what it would look like. Didn’t win, but because you showed it on the video I also did’t loose.
You loved wantable but in my comparisons, I decided to try stitch fix, got my first box and was pretty impressed. We bought stitch fixes for our kids too and they hit it out of the park.
I don’t order clothing subscription boxes because I work from home and I only go to the ballpark for my kids when I’m not home. (They do sports all year round). With that being said, I think everything looked great on you, my personal style leans more towards the stitch fix box, but I am not a fan of pinks. I think the green plaid dress was the absolute cutest out of all of the things you tried on. The mauve dress would be cute with a thick high waist belt and some cowboy boots. My least favorite out of both boxes were the Barbie pants, but that’s because I don’t like that color or that many buttons on my pants, but they look very cute on you! I love your videos!
I went to one of my local thrift stores today, and a hot pink/orange lady in the area has defenitely had a declutter recently. There was soooo much hot pink and orange!
I thought both boxes did really well for you but I would totally keep everything in the Wantable box for sure. I don't do either currently but have done both in the past. They both had their pros and cons. I liked Wantables better for the variety of styles (pro) but they could get pretty pricey (con). I liked the prices with Stitch Fix (pro) but yeah, I have enough slippery, flowy tops to fill a truck, lol (con). A lot of the same with them. But they did throw in some cute items too. I think they both do a good job adjusting the size they send based on how a piece fits. I feel they both paid pretty good attention to special requests or how you set up your profile. So I guess I'm saying I like them both. Maybe cost vs variety would be how I would look at.
I have been getting stitch fix for a year. There is def a “stitch fix top!” I have liked a lot of what I have gotten, but it’s very repetitive. I am going to try Wantable now. I am a size 12, very different body than Samantha. Trying to dress this 40 year old mom body as cute as I can:)
Love this idea of comparing the two boxes side by side. One tiny error...Wantable offers a 20 percent discount if you buy 5 or more, whereas SF is 25 percent for all 5. Both really good discounts. I think the Wantable items were a better fit and definitely brought the spring vibe! The only piece in the SF box is that cute little checked dress. I have to laugh when you say "Stitch Fix top" because that's exactly my complaint. I have told them never to send me any more Daniel Rainn, haha. I have had multiple of both boxes, but I have many more Wantable items in my closet. Occasionally, they really miss the mark and they make it up with a great box. I get particularly frustrated with SF...I leave TONS of feedback that they seem to ignore. I quit them and then give them another try...this happens every year. I just tried them again and sent back 3 back to back boxes...time for another break. I'm 62 (maybe I'll tell them I'm 42), short at 5'2, and wear an XS/S and a 2-4.
The Kate spade dress is gorgeous!!! And the wantable pink sundress should be named the Samantha dress 😂 I love the wantable pieces but I feel like their basic pieces (layering tanks etc) are way over priced. 🤷🏻♀️ but that’s me, I’m buying tank tops at target ❤❤❤
Stitch fix, has quite a few exclusive brands that you can’t find anywhere else, including Market & spruce, 41Hawthorne And I believe that 79 and Sunny is exclusive to want a bowl so they must make more money selling their own brand than other people’s and I find it frustrating because I Originally signed up with both to become more educated about brands that I could find out in stores and then they send me half of each box of brands that I can only ever get from them and I don’t want to be attached to the subscription boxes for the rest of my life
See, for me, I hate basic wardrobe staples in a style box. Tanks I can get at Loft and Target. In my last Wantable I declined every 78 and Sunny top in the stream. Yet, they sent me 2 in my box. So now we are on a break. Long time users of Sf get the style pass, so no $ out of my pocket if I don’t like my box.
It’s funny bc I never had luck with Wantable. Their customer service is amazing, but I’m on the opposite side of the sizing spectrum than you- L/ XL and the clothing selection is not great. I do, however, have amazing luck with Stitch Fix!
I quit Stitch fix because of getting the same top over and over again and the price kept going up. I'm a plus size, so it's great they gave my size but I was getting burnt out. I've actually gotten better stuff from Fashom's mystery boxes.
I do wantable - and I have to say, I cannot fathom spending over 30$ on a T-shirt or a tank. There may be something wrong with me, because Coats? Shoes? Dresses? I'll spend... Also, I just got Skies are Blue and a bunch of the same brands from both Wantable and also Daily Look. There must be a clearing house for subscription boxes. It's time for an expose!
Totally understand. We went last night and bought t-shirts for my kids at Nordstrom and Abercrombie and those were $30 each, so I think I expect to spend more on adult sized shirts. I mean, I have snagged some fabulous tees at Walmart recently for like $17 but the quality pails in comparison to these. And I'm not doing Daily Look right now, they drive me nuts LOL, so I'm not sure about overlap but we definitely are in between seasons. Lots of left over Winter in store (and subboxes) but not all the good Spring stuff has shown up.
I thought the Wantable edit was perfect. I wouldn't wear that bright pink, but it's not my edit. I think they look great on you. I'm doing Wantable. So far I grab one style per box. I'm fine with it, but I think that it frustrates them.
I think wantable would be a better match for me. They seem to have more fun and exciting styles. I want to try them so bad. I need life to be less chaotic so I can do that 😂
Awww you got the hate mail. That sucks. I’m so sorry 😢 But I have to correct that you’re not God but, girl, you are Queen! Hold that shiny pink crown high on your gorgeous head and flaunt! 🥂😇❤️
Stitch Fix is a total fail in my opinion. Wantable was awesome. I wouldn’t keep any of the Stitch Fix box. Between the sizes and the styles they just didn’t get you.

Both of these boxes received the same request. Late Winter, Early Spring fashion that is Texas-friendly.
I’m a size XS/Small in tops & a 25 in bottoms. I weigh 110 pounds, and I am 5’5” tall.

Wow...ever item in the Wantable box...gorgeous colors and fit. Keep all items.

The Kate spade dress is my fav of both boxes on you.

The Wantable - the color on the that tank is amazing. The fit / style on the puffed sleeves is great - the v is good! The color on the Dex tank is waay to bright for me, but looks great on you. Wantable was more what you were looking for in colors and spring style, but StitchFix had a couple of great pieces.
I'm a 1x/2x and I definitely do a thousand times better with Wantable size wize... still working on style.
OMG I got a spring preview edit from wantable and love it love it love it!!!!
Yay!!!
I use both companies and I love both for different reasons! I feel SF is really good if you keep the same stylist and they get to know you and I think they have new management. I like Wantable for the sleep and body edits mainly. The pink and orange dress just needs some fun earrings to pair with it and you are all ready for Fiesta.
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wantable is always my favorite, they seem to be more spunky with their clothing choices they send out.
im going 3 try wantable out I agree with you
I adore orange and pink together. That dress looked great on you.
Oh thank you! It is so happy!
Thanks for doing this comparison! I haven't used Wantable before but have used Stitch Fix a couple of times in the past. I agree with you on Stitch Fix! I left stitch fix for wantable....very happy I made that decision.
What a great video, Samantha! I'm with you- Clothing subscription boxes are the way to go for me. Plus, we live out of town, and I drive a big truck. What I save in gas and time is more than worth any extra I spend on clothing from these services.
Love the green and white dress from stitch fix but it is def see through in the back! 😬😆💕

Wantable I love the pink dress, two green tops, shorts and pants. So cute.
Love all items. Spot on.
Wantable hands down is the winner!!🎉❤😂 Thanks for sharing.
Stitch fix. I'd keep the green dress and nothing else. I like the black dress but if you don't have a need for that item right now it's not worth it.
Win to wantable
Those shorts from Wantable and the top you paired with it look amazing on you. The colorful dress would be beautiful for Cinco de Mayo..💗💗💗
Hi Samantha. I thought all the clothes looked nice on you but I'd say Wantable came out ahead. The pink and orange dress is a fun and happy dress. The Kate Spade dress was nice on you too.

Adorable clothes 😊
You loved wantable but in my comparisons, I decided to try stitch fix, got my first box and was pretty impressed. We bought stitch fixes for our kids too and they hit it out of the park.
I have that blue top from stitch fix in a print. I got it a couple of years ago! I am almost done with them myself. Thinking about trying wantable.

I went to one of my local thrift stores today, and a hot pink/orange lady in the area has defenitely had a declutter recently. There was soooo much hot pink and orange!
Oh man, that sounds divine
❤ all the dresses
I'm so ready for Spring dresses!
Love the Wantable box for you!
No spring in Nashville Tennessee!! Cold & rainy here😭🥰
Oh no! I hope all the rain is prepping TN for a AMAZING Spring!
That hot pink dress is too die for. I want one
I love everything from wantedable omg
Your wantable box was great. It’s sucks for plus sizes.
Also your wreath is beautiful
I feel like Stitch Fix has more patterns and I love that they have unique touches so I would pick a stitch fix, but love that pink and orange dress
Stitch Fix NO except the Kate Spade black dress..yes..perfect little black dress.
I thought both boxes did really well for you but I would totally keep everything in the Wantable box for sure. I don't do either currently but have done both in the past.
Good catch! And I totally kept the SF dress!
The Kate spade dress is gorgeous!!! And the wantable pink sundress should be named the Samantha dress 😂
I love the wantable pieces but I feel like their basic pieces (layering tanks etc) are way over priced. 🤷🏻♀️ but that’s me, I’m buying tank tops at target ❤❤❤
Yes, they have a couple brands that think very highly of their tanks LOL
That’s cool stitch fix is no longer sending you the flower covered clothes! I vote for Wantable here but stitch fix wasn’t bad at all this time! ❤
Stitch fix, has quite a few exclusive brands that you can’t find anywhere else, including Market & spruce, 41Hawthorne And I believe that 79 and Sunny is exclusive to want a bowl so they must make more money selling their own brand than other people’s and I find it frustrating because I Originally signed up with both to become more educated about brands that I could find out in stores and then they send me half of each box of brands that I can only ever get from them and I don’t want to be attached to the subscription boxes for the rest of my life
After I received this box, Stitch Fix offered me their Style Pass so I bought it!
I asked for one and got it...
I’m still a Nuuly fan, getting my bag tomorrow! I would not pay those prices to keep those items.
I'm going to order another Nuuly in April. I think they are great too!
It’s funny bc I never had luck with Wantable. Their customer service is amazing, but I’m on the opposite side of the sizing spectrum than you- L/ XL and the clothing selection is not great. I do, however, have amazing luck with Stitch Fix!
In Canada we just had a snow storm 😂
lol I’m 71 and I have my age as 40. I refuse to wear old lady clothes and love love love the funky stuff I get.
I quit Stitch fix because of getting the same top over and over again and the price kept going up. I'm a plus size, so it's great they gave my size but I was getting burnt out. I've actually gotten better stuff from Fashom's mystery boxes.
You'd get that navy top in Marshalls for $16.99.
What I get from this video is honestly nothing to do with the boxes… But that I need to be less afraid of bright colors as a redhead!
Lots of left over Winter in store (and subboxes) but not all the good Spring stuff has shown up.
so jolly. :)
I would like to see you find boxes for children’s clothing and see them on your girls
I thought the Wantable edit was perfect. I wouldn't wear that bright pink, but it's not my edit. I think they look great on you. I'm doing Wantable. So far I grab one style per box. I'm fine with it, but I think that it frustrates them.
BUY THE PINK PANTS
You know, I sent them back and now I thoroughly regret it
I think wantable would be a better match for me. They seem to have more fun and exciting styles. I want to try them so bad. I need life to be less chaotic so I can do that 😂
tfs
You are so welcome
I'm team Stitch Fix. Wantable is too expensive for me.
Stitch Fix is great too!
Wantable only offers 20% off when you buy 5 Stitch Fix offers 25% when you keep all 5
Awww you got the hate mail.
I think Wantable knocked it out of the park ... That bright colored dress - gorgeous! Stitchfix meh, not so much. 🛍️🌷🩷
