- I'm back again with Daily Look. I try to check in with them 2 times a year to see what they are up to and it looks like much the same for this Daily Look Review. This Women's clothing subscription box isn't one of my favorites, but I do keep trying them.

I have a subscription with DailyLook, and I personally love them. I will admit, that once I went through their looks and pinned my favorites (which my stylist highly suggested I do) I finally started receiving items I love!!!! As far as your looks & reviews, I think most of everything looked great on you. My least favorite was the grey poncho & the cream flannel. My favorite was the grey cowl neck top & the oatmeal Charlotte Ribbed Hoodie.. I find it so funny when I see people complaining saying I love their ad's, but that's not what I received in my box.. when I bet you a million dollars, most of those people never pinned any of their favorite looks, or communicated in some way with their stylist, what they like and are interested in receiving. They're not mind readers people!

Ha Ha it was me, on the "tuck the button side in" it makes a huge difference! Lots of companies are now saying "hand wash / dry clean" due to the damage these new washers are causing. Most of the time you can put the washable fabrics in a laundry bag, and throw them in on the delicate cycle in cold water. You really have to go by the material over the written washing instructions, because the new washers can be clothing eaters, they get things very clean, but it's because they beat some fabrics to death. I don't wash my clothes every time I wear them, and I hand wash a lot because of being very water conscious. (I was born and raised in CA) For instance, you don't have to handwash viscose but it's a delicate fabric when wet. I throw viscose in the washer... Rayon shrinks...but you can wash it in the washer.

I think they figure in delivery and styling fee in the cost of the item but also those prices are what you would see at name brand stores we just would wait til it goes on sale and wouldn’t pay it. The biggest complaint is things look worn and they don’t smell goo.

Yep, i have to agree with you on this one...none of the clothes are worth what they say they are and they are not all that good either. Then there is the dry cleaning...i hate having clothes that have to be dry cleaned too. The only item that looks good on you, of the lot, is the heather grey top...then again, $98 is way too overpriced for that as well.
Now you have me thinking, I should probably check the cleaning instructions on my Dailylook items. I've been throwing them all in the wash (luckily its been working). They do have a lot of cute styles that I love, but you are right, the price is always high. For the styling fee, you would expect to see more outfits, usually they just give random pieces that don't usually go together.

😆 That giant hoodie was fun to see you react to it. It is UGE! The black one looked way too casual for the cost. The button shirt, I liked the color and pattern on you, but it seems like the fit was uncomfortable which isn't worth the cost. It was a bit long too. That center scrunchy shirt, I feel like it would've been cute without that scrunchy part. And in a different shade. So, basically...if it was totally different it would be awesome 😅. The grey/black one, first impression: 😍, but that isn't a 100$ shirt. That's a Target shirt you can get for like high 40's low 50's. This was fun to watch, Sam! You had me cracking up! 🤍

I won’t try Daily Look because there is no excuse for the mark up on the items. That one dolman was super cute though.

I went to their website to do the style quiz and didn't like any of the outfits they showed me so I came here to look for videos. That grey top looked great on you, but the price was steep. That poncho, looks like someone tried to style a bath towel. I think DL is a hard pass for me. Thanks for the video.
Prices are insane. I do like the greyish batwing shirt but dang! The coatigan needs to go back in the box - price is excessive - I just bought nicer ones for less than half that! Really time to find something else to look at - not a good clothing box.
i always find wantable to be so much more expensive than i think something is worth, i'm shocked they are charging even higher in this box! i want that black hoodie tho, lol. the cowlneck top is the only other thing i really liked in this box. i guessed $90 but i wouldnt pay more than $60 for that myself. i am very hit or miss on cardigans myself. i think i JUST need them to have pockets. i dont want belts, i dont want those weird "flutter" fronts that dont lay flat... just pockets. even with a hood seems weird to me. and for $120 get yourself a jacket lol

I machine wash delicate in the garment bag for almost everything that says hand wash.
Things that won't be a crazy wrinkled mess, I do this too.
I even do that for dry clean only garments and have no issues. I just don’t put them in the dryer
I love love love the gray cowl neck top. I guessed $120, no way would I have paid that much. I think the price that it was marked was too high. I also really liked the coatigan because I wear cardigans all the time at work. I do think it worked with your outfit. And I'm like you, I need color in my clothing. That blush top was in my opinion awful.

Lol even if a shirt says dry clean or hand wash I still pop it in a lingerie net bag and machine wash it. I’ve never ever once had a problem so there is that lol.

Ugh getting my first box soon. After seeing this think I have to cancel my subscription.
Hate when shirts come unrolled even with the button tab. That hood was huge. I don't love the beige top on you. The color does wash you out. I have dark hair and very pale skin and absolutely cannot wear that color either. Love the black/white cowl neck top on you! I agree that it should be around $60.

I did like the top that was sort of a cape, but otherwise, nothing else in the box was worth the cost.
Haven’t had much luck with DAILYLOOK. Have had two boxes and I have only kept one item. The last box was full of overpriced items and they were unflattering and truly hideous. As I write this I am wondering why I am not canceling the subscription? This time I made sure to request a new stylist with any luck next box won’t be a bust.
I got preview for my first daily look box and I disliked almost everything. I specifically marked not to include tank tops, they picked 3 tank tops. I favorited several athletic looks, zero athletic clothes. I marked I wanted more jeans and pants and they picked one pair of jeans and 8 shirts
You need extra small those clothes look huge on you. Lol. What are you looking at to see where you can get it cheaper or something like it cheape, is that an app? I just got a box and everything looked used and wrinkled. It was bad but the clothes are cute
I do think daily look ups the msrp.
I wonder why? They could have such a great thing if they just were reasonable (not cheap) with their prices

The gray top is great on you. Perfect with the jeans you were wearing. I’d buy that to use the styling credit. 😂😂 I guessed $99. The cream colored hoodie - no. It’s cut like a potato sack. The plaid shirt tail is too extra. You have too much style for this stuff. Hit up Nordstrom for some soft jewel tone tops. To be honest a lot of expensive designers use a lot of rayon and poly fabrics too. Some natural fibers don’t drape the same without being too heavy. If you like the cut and construction go for it.
I think you're right, the gray is the piece to go with. I really like it!
It seems like the box over prices the items by the amount of the styling fee so you think you’re getting a deal if you buy and the styling fee is deducted from price but they’re actually selling the item at their over priced sticker amount out of pocket cost for the buyer. It’s a win win for the company because either way if you buy or don’t buy they still get to bank the styling fee. You are still paying out of pocket the full price of say $98 if you buy “the thing” At least with Wantable most of the items are the same price as I’ve found them via google searches from other stores.

Bless you for continuing to give DL a chance. Super overpriced and ill fitting in general. First top being available at Wantable (which isn't cheap) is crazy. That plaid top is just a no...why would you need that length in the back? The "adjustable" top does wash you out and why on earth would you pay money to dry clean that? I do love the cowl neck bat wing top on you...super cute and comfy. BUT holy ** definitely not worth $100. It doesn't even match up in the back! No to the cardigan, no to the poncho. When the actual Thread and Supply site has the item for way less is shocking! Not sure anything is worth saving the styling fee. I feel badly for your $40 loss...

Daily look did not do well, that one top was cute but way over priced even with your styling fee. Those long cardigan things shrink and widen you, I have that problem too. It's so weird. I would send the box back but if you kept one item I would make it that one top you liked. It looked great on you just over priced
Outfit 1. No. Didn't think it was flattering. Same with outfit 2. I liked outfit 3, just a little too long and make it washable. Lol. Outfit 3. Cute on you, personally not a fan. Maybe a different color. Outfit 4. Looks comfy and cute. Yesss. Coatigan maybe for Halloween for a wizard or Harry Potter lol. Poncho looked weird. But much better when you changed pants. The pants nope. All over priced. Just my opinion, don't hate.
I am sure there are people who would love this box, but I don't think it's for you. When you are not wearing your graphic tees, I notice your dress up wardrobe is colorful and feminine with unique details like a fun ruffles, puff sleeves or interesting print (like Nuuly Items) All this stuff is basic and overpriced.. Now sometimes, you need a good basic, but an 88 dollar black hoodie? This kind of stuff makes you look kind of frumpy and blend into the background. No one puts Samantha in a corner!
