HI! I wanted to give you an update that I decided not to get the brown sweater because a lot of you seemed to agree with me on it, BUT I changed my mind on the black pants and kept them! I just need to make sure I reach for them! You're right that they did fit me nicely. Thank you everyone!

@jenluv I thought the blue plaid looked great on you. I know it's expensive, but it's very unique. It's not buying just another plaid shirt, imo. I really gravitate to tops that you don't see it every store. ❤

I agree that you need to keep the blue plaid shirt. Its unique. Red and black plaid is nice but pretty common.
Knits are all clothes made out of stretchable fabrics; a t-shirt is a knit. If it doesn’t stretch, it’s woven. The more you know 🌈 ⭐️ 😄
This is not quite true. You're correct that all knits are stretchy but not all woven fabrics are non-stretch. Some woven fabrics are stretchy because they are made from materials that are stretchy, like spandex. That's why you can have stretchy jeans, which are still made from woven cotton fabric but mixed with spandex for stretch.
Your dog is the absolute cutest - love that we all bargain with our dogs … “give me a minute and I’ll take you out” 😂
I never hand wash. I put it in the washer on the delicate/handwash cycle with cold wash and cold rinse, and then I air dry it on a rack. For the super delicate things I have the dryel kit. I’ve not ruined anything yet 😂
I put them in a bag too. I’ll dry things on a rack but no hand wash here either!
The red plaid shirt with the black jeans is the bomb on you ! So so cute 🥰 But dang, the prices are scary… And you’re right, the off shoulder sweater is a little bit weird.
The brown sweater from Wantable is a hard pass for me. If it’s supposed to be off the shoulder, it fails fantastically. The blue plaid shirt is a heartbreaker. 💔😭

The Welsh twins did Advent calendars the other week, but they were food ones. There was a popcorn one for £30!!! The amount of popcorn in it wouldn’t even amount to a small bag 😅

The brown sweter is return ,the fading plaid is expensive but fitting great and I think if you get a lot of wear from it it's really worth
If you don't love in-store shopping or online shopping, buy what you love from the boxes. Wearing it often will make it worth it. Cheers!
Reasoning with your dog is so relatable. I've been trying to reason with my 6 lb boss for thirteen years now. 😅 I also have to spell out things so I don't trigger him. He knows F-O-O-D time is at 7:30am and 5:00pm exactly.

I actually really loved the doleman sleeved sweater much better than the one shoulder. Either way you should go for something that you feel comfortable in and will wear. Love these videos !
Black jeans or pants are such a staple for me! I love to pair them with a cute shirt and my denim jacket.
As for knits as an avid knitter/crocheter/dressmaker a knit can also be a type of fabric. It usually refers to jersey. Which is a fabric that if you look up close looks like it's very finely knit and is super stretchy. Basically a fabric that is microknit and is stretchy not because of the composition but rather because of the way it's woven.
Love the red dress on you and those booties are perfect for jeans! If you don’t care that the brown sweater isn’t a true off the shoulder then it’s fine, it’s fine. I’d return it.

I adore cranberry color on you. The red plaid and the dress are keepers. The same goes for the booties since you can get a lot of wear out of them with the other items in your current wardrobe.

Absolutely love the brown sweater on you, the side shoulder looks so good on your figure- you have great shoulders and it looks flattering on you. Not everyone can pull off a side top without it looking sloppy, or disproportionate somehow.
Jen, I’m not an expert on color theory and maybe it’s the lighting, but the softer colors you tried on really seemed to wash you out. You look so much better in darker and jewel toned colors. I liked how you looked in the red dress, the red plaid shirt and the dark green top. I know you don’t like black pants, but the red plaid shirt would look great with black pants you already own. If you really want the Tahoe shirt, maybe look for another color. That color doesn’t do you justice.
Jen is 100% a Color Me Beautiful Winter with best colors of jewel tones, black and white. The green sweater, red and black plaid, the navy shirt, and the dress are in her season.
I don't think there's anything special enough about the brown sweater to keep it. And yes, it felt forced pulling it off the shoulder. I really liked the red plaid shirt from Wantable, but the Tahoe sweatshirt obviously sparked joy for you and I'm glad you are keeping it. I have a red plaid shirt I got from Gap (they don't have it anymore) and I'm pretty sure I paid about $35 for it. It's a popular color for the season. The dress would be perfect for Valentine's Day! and I love the booties. No clear winner between the two boxes IMO.
I’m cracking up because I literally said “WHY???” about that sweatshirt price one second before you did. 😂😂 My last sweater from Stitchfix pilled so badly with just one wear, I’m a bit jaded about paying these prices for their items anymore. I tossed it in the goodwill bin after one wear. I don’t want to waste my money like that at those prices. Oh, and no to the brown sweater for me. It didn’t look bad, but it didn’t look amazing either. I agree on saying it looks forced if you wear it off the shoulder.
the dress was my absolute fave...I just in general think you looks super cute in these type of dresses. I liked the pink plaid shirt, too. The brown sweater does look awkward, I think. My thoughts on it are exactly as you said in the try on - it just looks like you pulled a regular sweatshirt off. I liked the dolman sleeve one better

The brown, off the shoulder sweater was my favorite thing you tried on (not counting the booties which I loooved) so I say keep it for sure!

I liked second sweater better than brown, black jeans I'm glad you kept them. Great dressed up look. A quick FYI about pulling, I learned recently was anything that pills in fine mesh laundry bags, its the other fabrics you are washing them with. The really fine mesh bags with tiny holes don't allow other fabrics to touch your nicer clothes in the washer so no pilling. Try it!!!

My biggest issue (ok 2 issues) with both services is price and clothes that are very nice and decent quality, but very basic. For plaid shirts...Marshalls and TJ Maxx carry Beach Lunch Lounge for $24.99. Old Navy has great plaids too.
The plaids from Wantable are really cute. The boots and red dress from Stitchfix are wonderful.

With Wantable, I love the red and black plaid shirt (it just fit you so good... Maybe it was stitch fix), the Tahoe Sweatshirt (obviously), and the green sweater was nice and solids are great for layering. If the brown sweater is something you won't feel like you will pull at it, it looks really good on. With Stitch Fix, I love the dark palid shirt, the dress is beautiful on you and the booties are great😊

Things have just increased in price. A jacket I bought 18 months ago for $1500 is now selling for $4k! In 18 months. The green jumper is so good on you! It’s your color, it makes your skin look brighter. I think jewel tones might be your colors.
So from wantable the green sweater is such a beautiful color on you, the brown doesnt look effortless. From stitchfix- that dress is amazing on you, Im a firm advocate of more ankle booties.

I think the really big sleeves are called “batwing” sleeves. AND, I think you need to treat yourself to that blue plaid “dipped” top. It is not only plaid but it is unique, and that gets bonus points from me lol

I have a couple off the shoulder sweaters. Keep it. You can also wear it on your shoulders and the length extends on both sides.

TJMaxx and Marshall’s would be 1/3 of the price for the same quality or better. Walmart or Target would have lower prices but lower quality. The Tahoe sweatshirt would be half the price in Tahoe. Wow, I’m a true Debbie Downer on this video, but love you!

From wantable, i liked the light brown dolman sweater and green sweater. The tahoe sweater looks comfy as well. From stitch fix, i like the blue gradient plaid and the booties.

Jen, try using the lingerie bags for clothing that needs more care. I don’t hand wash either. I put those items in the lingerie bags and wash on gentle.
Get the red plaid shirt the way u lit up when you tried it on. Love the green sweater on you too and the red dress is perfect 🤩
If you don’t feel completely comfortable in the sweater and like your best self, I say send it back. It’s too expensive to keep if you don’t love it

I like the brown off the shoulder- it doesn’t look forced - I think when it is too loose at the neck it becomes annoying because it can slip way down.

The dress suits your body very well! Definitely a keeper
If you are worried about peeling, get those laundry bags, have the top inside out and wash it that way and then don't dry it. Let it air dry. I air dry half of my tops. It works. And when ur ready to wear it I steam it or throw it in the dryer so it will be softer.

Yes to the Tahoe sweatshirt, green sweater is a little plain but colour looks great on you and the fit is nice, red plaid shirt is super cute, I like the dress and the shoes. Black pants are nice as long as you will wear them! (I’m the same way, I buy them and then I don’t really wear them 😂) My no’s are the blue faded plaid , did not like the look or the pocket. I like big wide sleeves on sweaters but not the “bat wings” style like that boat neck rust sweater. The rest was okay but nothing special that’s worth keeping.

13:50 That color green is beautiful on you! The prices seem high, so I am hesitant to say keep anything, because I wouldn’t want to pay those prices! (If you think anything will not wash well, or will pill, definitely skip. I love the red plaid top on you, but you could show it to your family and tell them you want something like that for Christmas, haha. They could find a “dupe” for much less).

Jen, slowly step away from the plaid. 😅 You mention a few times that you have a bunch of plaid and you know you can find it if you were really want to buy it. You should be taking advantage of the stylists to nudge you out of your comfort zone! Like that boatneck pullover is adorable and a total keeper. 🤩
I think quality wise & style wise, wantable wins, where you keep the brown sweater or not. They styles, to me, were super versatile, but also comfortable and you. I know the price points were super high, but I think that just comes with the territory regarding these style boxes.
