    Girl i appreciate the dedication to this vide and you did really well❤A little advice though (esthetician here) with the nonprofessional kits, I would cut the perm time in half because these chemicals are STRONG. Be very thorough with removing the perming solution, first get as much off with a dry qtip, then go back through with a wet qtip, then go over one more time with another dry qtip to remove any water before applying the neutralizer. With the neutralizer you want to apply a lot and bring it up to the tips because when you remove the perm it’s getting drug to the tips so you want that all to be neutralized. The biggest mistake with lash perms is accidentally over processing and that’s what makes the lashes go all wonky and kinked as time goes on. Make sure you brush the oil through with a spooly every night, sometimes I do Vaseline too. The grow out phase will always be a little wonky but those extra pointers should help, there’s definitely a learning curve.

      Quick question since you mentioned you're an esthetician: How long should you wait after a lash lift to do another lash lift? Also how often can you dye your lashes (and eyebrows)?

    • @reginageorge5409
      @reginageorge5409 Месяц назад +1

      @ lash lift I would definitely give it 6-8 weeks, base if off your lash growth cycle. You’ll know it’s time when there’s no curl left because all those lashes shed. Ans for the tint, i personally tint my mine every 3ish weeks. Its way more gentle than the perming chemicals so you can do it more often

      @reginageorge5409 my lashes just will not stick to the silicone! Is there an alternative glue that can be used? Am I just doing it wrong? I attempted this last night and it worked kind of on one side but not at all on the other. Should I still wait the 6-8weeks before I attempt to do it again?? Thank you!

    You should’ve get sponsored because this is the best tutorial I’ve seen. I bought the product and my first try on my left lash did not work!!, Let’s be honest, the glue is a mess it does not work.
    The second time I tried it on my right lash just because of your video + I curled my lash before starting and actually gave me a better result on my right lash. I was about to return the product and now I’ll not.
    Your review is a 100 out of 10! Excellent! 🙌🏻
    Ps. If there is some perm product left, use it on ur brows, I did it on mine and didn’t have to buy the brow lifter I just used the same as my lashes, and worked better on my brows. 😜 Hope this helps on the comments

    I've been tinting my eyelashes and eyebrows for well over 25yrs because they're so blonde. I've never tried the curling ones. One thing I think would really help is if you used very wet cotton pads instead of paper towel. I use way more tint and keep my eye closed as much as possible. The peroxide tingles, but you may have less anxiety over time. Your roots are dark enough that this stuff can work for 8 weeks. I have to do mine every 3 weeks.

    I get my short, straight lashes professionally done, coz I don't think I could handle doing it myself. Kudos to you.
    My technician slightly brushes/combs them towards the outer eye, which seems to minimise the wonky drooping. It works on my lashes, as it can look like I'm startled if they are angled straight up.
    Love your work!

I don't know how RUclips works...does it work like FB & IG, where you're content gets boosted every time you get a comment? If so, I'm curious why you don't reply to them? Maybe it doesn't work the same way, or that monetization just isn't a goal of yours. But if that's the case, why not? 😂 You're great. You're honest & thorough & easy to listen to. Something I think everybody needs to realize is your lashes are growing every week… so three weeks four weeks into this your lashes have grown and what’s growing is as straight or as curled as your lashes normally are so that’s going to affect any curl that you put on the original portion of your lashes in addition to the effects themselves wearing off. And if you use anything on your lashes to get them to grow thicker and faster…. I would think that would have affect the appearance too. Thank you for sharing!!

  • @mrs_stoutfire
    @mrs_stoutfire 3 месяца назад +7

    Cassie, how was the application process the second time considering your lashes had somewhat of a curl/slight lift to them as opposed to when they were straight during the first application? Was it any more difficult to apply the silicone pad and/or brush and "place" the lashes upwards into the glue when they had a curl to them this time around?

    Hey Cassie! I used this exact same product last fall. I used the more dramatic curl size (and afterwards wished I went a little more natural!). I very much had the same experience as you. But after about a month and a half I felt like I looked like I had dead spider legs all over my eyelids, which wasn’t my favorite part 😂. I guess it was from my lashes growing so the curl was moving (which is why I think they say don’t get the solution on the tips or roots of your lashes). I was getting nervous I screwed them up, so I didn’t want to use another application in case they’d fall out (why do our minds automatically go there?😂). …. But anyway, after a few more weeks they were back to their normal pin straight selves, so if you find you eventually get to that stage, don’t worry, it straightens itself out. Literally!!

    I love doing these. Not the process in itself, but the results are so nice. The biggest mistake I’ve made with this is choosing the wrong size pad. I wanted them really lifted, and used one that was too small and my lashes were hitting my lids for weeks. It was really annoying. Also when they grew out they had a weird kink on tips of my lashes. Also if you do put it on the edges, it fries your lashes. It also helps to really take your time and get the lashes perfectly glued in the exact position that you want them.

    I really enjoyed this review. I don't know how you were able to do this without shaking but you did. If you were nervous and shaky it didn't show but I've gotta tell you. My stomach was turning for you, lol. I'm not usually like that but I was so nervous for you. I loved the results as soon as they were done but I didn't like how the lashes started to go every which way but straight up. It reminded me of how lashes look when a certain lash serum has been used. I think this would be great to use for a special event but then I'd want to be able to take it off. Because my lashes are long, curly and dark I think those wonky lashes would be more noticeable on me but thanks for taking one for the team. Can't wait to see more of these types of videos from you Cassie... 😉

    Also, I find L’Oréal telescopic mascara works great with a lift. For me anyhow. You can use a spoolie to straighten them out. I also found some rods that give more of a cat eye look and I find those grow out more gracefully. Next time you do the lift, use a lash pad one size bigger so you don’t have to deal with them touching your eyelids.

    I bought this kit a while ago, maybe around last christmas. I definitely get the "bedhead" lashes from it and they need brushing out with the oil. I have fine straight hair, and my lashes and hair never hold a curl, and it wasn't much different here. I think mine lasts 2- 3 weeks lol. A long as I'm willing to put in the effort for an effect that won't last super long, like for a special occasion, then I'll keep using it. I've only used it 3 times so the kits lasting me a while.

    You don’t put perm lotion on the tips because the hair is very thin and fine. It will curl the tip like a frizzy perm. Think about how you use an end paper on the ends of your hair when getting a perm. It’s to keep them super straight and protected. And when you to tint, the tips will suck up the most color fast! Ha! Second edit… I’ve had this product for about a year and haven’t used it! I’m doing this tonight!! It looks great!

They looked amazing for the first week and then as soon as my lashes started growing out they looked crazy and kinky. The lash growth cycle is about 3 or 4 weeks. So what happens is that part where your lashes bend when your perming them goes from the base of your lash all the way up to the middle/end and then tbe tips of your lashes are kinked then they are going in all weird directions. I didnt love it. But it seems like you had better results than i did. I suppose it just depends where you're at in your lash cycle
