Voiceplay doesn't do copyrights. They're awesome. But what a great video to start with! Welcome to the wonderful wide ecclectic world of Voiceplay. Next time you listen to this, after J sings "me" listen closely.Geoff, the bass, sings a B0 for 15 seconds.
Yeah, this group rocks out loud. Like I told another reactor, it is like they got together in the back of a bar or somewhere and said, "We can start off with a chant, move it up to a type of hard ballad, then Elli can let loose his inner rock god, and what the heck, let's throw in some rap! We have everything else in there, why not? Hey, Geoff, the people want subharmonics? Let's give it to them! BOO-YA!"
Miracle of Sound wrote this song inspired by Assassin's Creed. They rated this cover 10 raised alehorns out of 10. You did the bass singer Geoff's (pronounced Jeff) cover of Blackbird but I don't think you've done Voiceplay. J None (the one who did the rap) is a former member who was recruited to sing with the Navy. When he's on leave he often comes back and sings with Voiceplay. Voiceplay has also done the Halo theme and The Dragonborn Comes from Skyrim which you might like. I know this wasn't your usual style but I'm glad you enjoyed it. I loved your expression when J started rapping. Lol. ✌️❤️🥕
They out do themselves every time! I cannot stop watching this, it is amazing!! That first B0 Geoff hits lasts for 15 seconds!! Eli has become the Asgardian god of rock, Layne is a beatboxing god, Cesar has become a Berserker, and J None has shown us that rap indeed belongs in acapella! Great reaction!
Great reaction. These guys are amazing. They have tons of videos. They are independent and don't block their videos. They make their own decisions and everything themselves. Geoff Castelucci, the bass, has his own channel where he sings solo. He usually clones himself 3-4 times for harmonies. Each with their own name and personality. He's Non acapella on his channel. His latest video is.... Man of Constant Sorrow.
YES!! I love this song. Love the original by Miracle of Sound, and the version they did with Peyton Parish. But this is definitely my favorite and because it's acapella.. just so friggin impressive! Highly recommend VoicePlay's My Mother Told Me and The Dragonborn Comes and Hoist The Colors.. Hell any song of theirs really, but these 3 are the most similar to this one and absolutely stunning!
Welcome to Voiceplay's rabbit hole 😁. It's always entertaining to watch someone do their first reaction to either Voiceplay or Geoff (pron. "Jeff") Castellucci, the bass singer. The reactor: "Wow, THAT's LOW!" Geoff: "That is low? Hold my beer..." Now, in this specific song there's something that seems kinda weird to me. 🙂 At the very beginning, when J None is left alone saying "...meeeee", Geoff hits a freaking B0 (B zero... the second white key on a full keyboard piano!), and (almost) no-one seems to notice it. Everybody freaks out at the notes he sings with words in them, but this INCREDIBLE feat seems to go unperceived, as if they unconsciously can't process that as "human voice". And it lasts FIFTEEN SECONDS!! Unreal. 🙂 Anyway. They're just outstanding. 🙂 Just subscribed to watch your descent into their very, very deep rabbit hole 🙂. See you next time!
You should check out Nothing Else Matters, another recent drop. Also Dream On, Halo, Running Up That Hill, Just Sing (captions on is a must), My Mother Told Me (prequel to this song) and Dragonborn Comes!
Voice Play doesn't have any copy right issues. They do everything themselves & don't work on any label. The air conditioner wasn't working in the studio they were filming in. That & the clothing they were wearing made them sweat so bad. That shows how committed they are to making an awesome video for their fans.
Great reaction. Welcome to the voiceplay rabbit hole. If you love this check out their versions of my mother told me (the prequel to this one) warriors, enemy or dream on. Plus any of the boys solo stuff is great as well. Geoff Castellucci (the bass) has his own channel with lots of solo work that is incredible. Can’t wait to see more reactions to these guys
The highlight of my day is watching a tractor discovery Voiceplay for the first time. They don't always go full out with costumes and makeup. They are awesome either way. I'll recommend their cover of Nothing Else Matters by Metallica. Subscribed in anticipation of more Voiceplay and Geoff!
Just so you know, Voiceplay does all of their own arranging, sound design, computer/video work, etc, and is not affiliated with any record company. So, they're far less "strict" on copyright issues.
Voice play is absolutely worth your time. They are freaking amazing. I actually really love watching the charismatic voice react to their songs because she helps me here so much more about how what they are doing is amazing more amazing than I have the knowledge to understand. you might also look into Geoff Castellucci when he does his individual pieces if you want more of the deep bass voice, it is killer. I personally really love his rendition of 16 tons.
Great reaction. Voiceplay is independent and do everything themselves. Including making their own decisions. They do not block their videos for any reason. They said they work too hard on them for people not to be able to watch them no matter how. They love reactors because you guys help get their videos out there. Geoff Castellucci, the bass, has his own channel where he sings solo non Acapella. All his videos are awesome as well. His latest is Man of Constant Sorrow.
Lane, the beatboxer, and Geoff, the bass, are the main arrangers... They're to A Cappella to what H Mack is to freestyle rapping. J None is a former member, but joined the navy... deep dive down them and Geoff's videos, they're AMAZING
Great reaction! Liked and subscribed, I'd love to see you react to more from VoicePlay and/or their bass singer, Geoff Castellucci. Some of the other great covers they've done include Nothing Else Matters, My Mother Told Me (the prequel to Valhalla Calling,) Hoist the Colours, We Don't Talk About Bruno, Dream On, Carry On Wayward Son, Queen in Five Minutes, In The Hall of the Mountain King, Enemy (Imagine Dragons) and Warriors, and also Geoff's solo covers of Ghost Riders In the Sky, Far Over The Misty Mountains Cold and The Sound of Silence, but all of their stuff is worth a watch and a listen.
This was the follow up to My Mother Told Me video by Voice Play. Same make up but Jose Rosario Jr sang in MMTM wearing the cape that Cesar is wearing this time (2nd from left).
I’m a Norse Pagan and while I know most of these songs are inspired by games I enjoy listening to anything to do with Norse heritage. Thanks for reacting man!
If you want to hear more of Geoff's amazed deep voice, I highly recommend you listen to his rendition of "Sixteen Tons". Him and his brothers sang that song so much better than any other version I've heard in my opinion. It's one thing to sing in a deep voice, it's another to sing in a deep voice as smoothly as someone like Geoff Castellucci does.
VoicePlay is freaking fantastic. Dream On is amazing, the Oogie Boogie Song is hilarious and fun... Geoff has his own channel. You should check his cover of Blackbird, it's beautiful.
This probably doesn’t belong here but… If any one else is dealing with anxiety driven by cPTSD. You aren’t alone. I’m going through It right now. If you’re the type to pray, please, do? If you’re the sort to simply send mental well wishes, those are just as appreciated. Either way. You are not alone. I am not alone. We can beat this. The Past _is_ past.
That's not even anywhere near as low as Geoff can go. Lol. Funny you mentioned Assassin's Creed, too, since the original by Miracle of Sound was inspired by AC: Valhalla.
Voiceplay probably sounds familiar because they are mentioned anytime Home Free or PTX is featured and you reacted to Geoff's (Deep Voice)- Blackbird, so I'm sure they were mentioned under his video as well. Good reaction!
I love your channel and the open conversations about mental health. Thank you. It means a lot. I would love to see you react to Disturbed's song The Vengeful One. It's a commentary on the news media's impact on propagating hate and division
Great reaction; new subscriber. By the way, Eli’s name is pronounced Ellie, for when you want to single him out. He’s got that rocking high tenor in this one.
You keep saying Geoff's voice is crazy. Brother, you ain't heard nothin' yet. Try "If I Were A Rich Man/Girl" or "Oogie Boogie Song" to hear him go high AND low in the same song.
Just a mention - talking about Orin’s missing eye in the game really probably isn’t a spoiler to worry about unless you don’t know anything about Norse mythology as that is where he puts out his own eye to gain wisdom.
I dont understand the due to copyrights across the video. others have racted to it with out having to show that. Still they are amazinf as are you my friend!
I agree with you both the duo and trio with Miracle of sound, Peyton & Eric. They had the grit and aggressive nature of the song felt more like a Viking song. While voiceplay felt a bit on the light side for the most part but the bass feel appropriate for the song, but that rap… (personal preference here) but it definitely yank me out of the enjoyment of the song, it felt so out of place and left me questioning that decision for this song in particular. For me rap can be enjoyed in the right context.. here not so much, sorry. I’m gonna check other song from them to see if it the norm or the exception.
i think kpop reaction would be perfect ❤like; BTS- BUTTER ATEEZ- HALAZİA STRAY KIDS- THE SOUND ENHYPEN- FEVER RED VELVET - PEEK A BOO G-(IDLE) -NXDE BLACKPINK- PINK VENOM you can have a look at these ❤❤❤❤
Nope. Channel is steered by what people subscribe and ask for. Patreon donations go on Patreon first and then are uploaded to RUclips later down the line if they choose.

You should check out Geoff Castellucci's (bass singer) "Misty Mountains Cold". It's just him harmonizing with himself. Incredible version.
Second this, Geoff Castellucci does a whole series of "deep voice songs" that are fantastic, and a lot of them are inspired by games or movies
Yes pleeeease
16 tonnes is good too
Yeah, this group rocks out loud. J. None is a former member who joined the Navy in 2021 and when he's home on leave he gets with the band and does videos.
Great reaction.

Previous song by Voice Play, My Mother Told Me is also Viking based.
You should check out Nothing Else Matters, another recent drop. Also Dream On, Halo, Running Up That Hill, Just Sing (captions on is a must), My Mother Told Me (prequel to this song) and Dragonborn Comes!

I've been waiting for this reaction. You did not disappoint.
Been listening to this for a week now. Awesome.
Assassins creeds my favorite game dude. This song was pretty cool, and I did not see those bars coming in. That really threw me off 😂😂😂
Stoked to see you review Voice Play. They kill it every single time. ❤️
Voice Play doesn't have any copy right issues. They do everything themselves & don't work on any label. The air conditioner wasn't working in the studio they were filming in. That & the clothing they were wearing made them sweat so bad. That shows how committed they are to making an awesome video for their fans.
Miracle of Sound is known for writing great songs inspired of specific games, and this was of course inspired by AC Valhalla
Great reaction. Welcome to the voiceplay rabbit hole. If you love this check out their versions of my mother told me (the prequel to this one) warriors, enemy or dream on. Immediately goes on my playlist right now ❤🐢 xx
Gotta love when the bass's notes can stay below bass clef, cause, why not.
Just so you know, Voiceplay does all of their own arranging, sound design, computer/video work, etc, and is not affiliated with any record company.
So, they're far less "strict" on copyright issues.
Miracle of sound has improved so much over the years. Love all of his stuff. The original is worth a listen to
OH! You just made my week!
Dude, you totally react to their cover of Aerosmith's Dream On
Voice play is absolutely worth your time. Please check out the version of this by Miracle of Sound featuring Peyton Parrish. Also Peytond Parrish's new song Master of war is amazing
Hey! you should react to a song called Use Me Up (VIP) By Paranoid DJ
I dont understand the due to copyrights across the video. others have racted to it with out having to show that. Still they are amazinf as are you my friend!
I like the one by Peyton Perrish better, but that bass voice, jeez, nearly broke my table with them vibrations 🤣🤣

Wonderful! Why you where forgetting about VoicePlay for such a long time? Or is your channel steered by Patreon money only....
Nope. Channel is steered by what people subscribe and ask for. Patreon donations go on Patreon first and then are uploaded to RUclips later down the line if they choose.
💝@@CliffBeatsOfficial Thx for your answer. Absolutely appreciated.
@@gundulamayer0808 any time! I love beatboxing as a whole! I’ll be doing plenty more and just uploaded one from Geoff yesterday I believe 😊
@@CliffBeatsOfficial Yes, that‘s how I found you ☺️
Not sure how I feel about this one🎵🎶🎵. But then,,I listen to a lot of Wardruna,Heilung, etc. This sounds too stylized for my liking......
So,,, is this Viking music for gay dudes????
