Fred Astaire insisted that the camera always show the full body when dancing. I really loved how fluid he moved.

I had a good laugh and enjoyed this years ago when I first saw it. Good to see it again and be reminded.

The trio on the couch is Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds, and Donald O'Conner

Some of those guys doing splits are the Nicholas Brothers. The mold was broken with those guys. Maybe check out Cab Calloway (from the film Stormy Weather) featuring the Nicholas Bros. It will blow your mind.

The 3 men doin the jump split off the balcony are the Berry Brothers. Not nearly as well known as the Nicholas Brothers but highly regarded dancers.

That scene in the living room with the sofas was Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor (not Fred Astaire) and Debbie Reynolds - "Singin' in the Rain" was the movie.

Eleanor Powell was all over this. Fred Astair said that she was the ONLY female dancer that intimidated him.

there is a brand new music video from brimheim, called into the ooze. it has to do with dancing shoes and reminds of some of those oldfashioned dance moves. you don't know the band but you know the director of the music video.
