Make an update to allow patch saving to the foot switches so this can be giggable with patches/banks and this will really be an all in one solution!

They missed big time not having channel switch feature. They should have done same as NUX Cerberus.
Amped2 Manual says:”Local Patches cannot be saved to your amp. They can only be recalled and loaded to your amp when connected to Blackstar’s Architect [software]“.

It is a good sounding unit, would be better with Downloadable pre-sets. To my ears (And I was listening with Sony studio headphones) the tone seem to lack mids and bottom end, a bit ice-picky.
Very strong in the top end attack but lacking body.
Looking at the EQ setting I think that is what your player was going for, I would have like to heard a more bluesy type EQ setting.
In all fairness, it could have sounded awesome in the room and it was just the mic and or placement, or more likely the you tube limiting and over compression.
Not trying to be unfair, it just sounded over-compressed and ice-picky.
Maybe try running it into a HT20?

It’s amazing that this is described in the blurb as gig ready but comes with no presets and no midi. You’d spend half the night twiddling knobs between songs. 🤦‍♂️

It might be perfect for some of us (me included). I've gigged with a Fender Telecaster, a Snark headstock tuner, one lead and a Blues Deluxe Reissue amp. Set the overdrive channel to break up at a decent volume, and with the guitar on "10". Back off the guitar volume to clean up, and that's me good to go for the whole gig. This Blackstar amp appeals to me because of its small size, so with just one speaker cab or even plugged into the PA, as long as that basic sound was achievable it would make for a nice lightweight package to take to a gig, smaller and lighter than my Fender amp.

No patch saving. A big omission and not very giggae. Blackstar you know this so please upgrade this model which is great in every other department.
