Oh yes, this man is really big: he sold about 135 million albums, received numerous awards, sold out huge arenas and stadiums around the world, had his songs covered by the greatest (Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, etc.). You surely know Sweet Caroline, Red Red Wine, I'm a Believer... he wrote these smash hits, among many others. If you want to get to know him, just listen to his songs: Brooklyn Roads (a touching song about his youth), Solitary Man, Holly Holy, America (his grandparents were Russian-Polish immigrants), Dry Your Eyes, Beautiful Noise... He has a huge catalogue to choose from. Nice review, love it when young people like you discover and appreciate this giant of modern music, with a very distinctive voice (that growl!), deep and powerful lyrics and tons of charisma.
