Tendre Poison and Poison are some of my first perfume memories. I have an old Cologne bottle of Poison which I wear, and a couple bottles of Tendre from various years. Love them! Cabotine by Gres is a 90% dupe if you miss Tendre.

Great collection! Sarah! So nostalgic. My parents both enjoyed fragrance and we got a lot from the drugstore. There's nothing like a vintage perfume collection video. I remember all of those good scents. My mom was just like you she appreciated ALL kinds of perfumes. But her favorite was YSL Champagne. The trail it left behind was insane!

*Malibu Musk!* Omg I had all but forgotten that little gem! Along with *Vanilla Fields, Vanilla Musk, Fire & Ice, and Exclamation*, were *Colors and Tribe.* And then I will never forget my very first non drugstore fragrance when I was 13 in 1995 was *Calvin Klein Eternity.* I adore that fragrance to this day. Oh and let's not forgot *Luv's Baby Soft* and its infamous inappropriate advertising campaigns! I still wear it too.

I love this. I keep a bottle of Estee Lauder Green Tea because it reminds me of my first time visiting NYC in 2002. I shared a room with a French girl that sprayed it every morning. It’s really just for me to sniff. It doesn’t last long. I wish they would bring back the EDP. It lasted longer and had a better silage.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video, Sarah!! You have such a great selection of vintage fragrances. Both Dior Addict and Miss Dior Cherie are among my favorite scents. I have the original formulation of Addict, but I try not to wear it, so that I will never be without it. I have the newer formulation, which I also love. I feel that it’s a lighter version of the original. I could wear it more in the daytime. My newer bottle has a gold band just under the sprayer. The cap doesn’t come off. I have a 2011 version of Miss Dior Cherie, but I had also purchased the 2007 formulation off Ebay. They are both beautiful!! I want to try the 2005 formulation.

Hi Sarah! I love Amarage. Wore it in my early 20s and still wear it from time to time. My husband loves it. In high school I wore Navy. I went through bottle after bottle. I need to get my hands on it again. I remember my mom wearing Emeraude (by Coty I think) and haven’t smelled it in a long time but anytime I smell it I’m reminded of my mom and childhood. Now my mom wears vanilla scents. 💕

Love hearing about your early scent memories and, of course, I'm reminded of mine. When I was still single digits years old in the 1970s, my parents would on occasion go out at night, and this always involved dressing and scenting up which set my young mind to wondering about this strange adult world. Later, as a teenager, I remember disliking most of my dad's colognes, except English Leather which appealed to me because it was kind of sweet and inviting. I was a true gourmand lover long before I knew there was such a thing.

Iam about your age and my mom used to wear Christian Dior Poison, tender poison, miss Dior Cherie, YSL rive gauche and Burberry by Burberry and I have such nostalgia for those scents. Try as hard as I might, Nothing matches the potency of poison from back in the day. I can’t believe my mother had such interesting perfume choices back in the day in India when they were harder to get some of these perfumes locally and with no RUclips etc.
I still use Burberry just for that nostalgia although there are sooo many other fragrances from the brand now. Also recently got a bottle of the Charlie white which is in the frosted bottle but it smells a little sharper than what I remember.
Revlon Fire and Ice… what a blast from the past 😂

The vintage fragrances from the 90s and back were all beast mode and crazy affordable! Everything presently is either very expensive or watered down. Poison was my 1st fragrance. That grape 🍇 note was so gorgeous. I have a fond memory of my father going away on international business trips and bringing me back a fresh bottle from the duty free shop. He was so sweet💜. I recently bought Lancôme Pôeme. I feel like it’s been reformulated…I can’t really recall though. I‘ve just sprayed it on a card to see how the drydown performs. It has so many notes! Floral Amber sweet Make-up like vintage vibe. Chic and very French! Very nostalgic. Thank you for sharing your picks and stories! Beautiful! 💐🌷🌹🌻🌼🌸🌺🥀🌱

Hello beautiful Sarah, I think you’re aging backwards because you look so fresh and glowy! 🌟😍
Just had to say hi since I haven’t been commenting lately. You know I’m still watching everything though. 🥰💞 I love watching the videos when you talk about the older scents because it’s always nostalgic. Even though we didn’t wear the same scents growing up, I still like to think about those scents as you talk. Some of them I didn’t smell until I really started exploring perfume more as an adult.
I’m covered in evergreen tree and grass pollen out here too, so I feel your allergy pain! It’s finally starting to warm up though, even though Memorial Day will be a big rain fest as usual. Sending big, big, warm hugs. We could all use a collective hug this week. 💟☮️

Like you I also get angry and annoyed when perfume houses get rid of our favorites or re-formulate them into oblivion. I don't think Dior should have got rid of J'adore Absolu and I don't think that Givenchy should have made a reformulation of their L'interdit Eau de Toilette from 2019. The new versions are trash!
Like J'adore Infinissime? Pledge Cleaner. And J'adore D'eau? Doesn't last for more than 90 minutes on my skin 😡

They had a whole tray of perfume bottles like Jennifer Lopez Glow and JPG Classique. I remember Classique in particular because I would just stare at that bottle and think to myself "why do they have a bottle with b0 0bs on it" 😆 and the scent was so nuclear. classique was a big deal in the early 2000s. I also started my perfume obsession when I was a child
And why we were so obsessed with cool smelling acuatic perfumes in the 90’s? I had almost all the same perfumes but my signature when adolescent was Acqua di Gio

Hi Sarah! Cool Water was my BFF‘s signature back in 1998 (we were 17 by the time) My favorites around that time were Happy by Clinique, Eternity CK, Escada Sport Spirit, a green Bulgari (I think it‘s called Eau Fraiche) and of course CK one.
Midnight Poison is such a gem. I keep a tiny little sample I once got from a swap. I‘d also love to own Tendre Poison. There is one fragrance callod Cabotine de Gres and it’s similar to Tendre, but it was kinda too much for me (mainly bc of the Aldehydes)

I should have bought Safari when we still had it… i had a strong feeling it would be gone… but I got sidetracked with other fragrances 🤣 and just as I guessed, we no longer have it online … 🥲 i don’t even know why I felt like I wanted it, i haven’t even smelled it 😁
