    Cool budget setup. I wonder about cracks potentially forming at very high boost between the cylinders due to those slits.

      Yeah its very popular in the Honda world and with some friends I have who have done it and say its a great alternative I figured Id give it a shot. And of course I really appreciate the positive support!

    I was just thinking about to make a bushing for the tap for a nice alignment maybe overkill but it's a way to not make any mistakes. But you really make a perfect job on your engine. Very interesting about the close deck with epoxy feels strange but hope it will handle the high temperatures.

      @Inhouseperformance  5 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, do what makes you feel more confident. I think it might be overkill but worth a shot. The epoxy should do just fine I know Honda guys making over 1000whp with the epoxy close deck so should help me accomplish my goals which are way below that

    Awesome build!! What size sway bars did you go with eibach?? Still need to make sure I get the correct bushings too 😂

    N54 owner here, just wanted to say just found your channel awesome shit bro. That epoxy trick isn't something I have ever heard of. I am familiar with filling blocks with concrete in the big power Cummins world. But epoxy is genius in a why tf didn't I think of that kinda way lmao. Curious to see how it holds up, would love to just do rods and pistons and call it a day with my car when she blows. Thanks for sharing I am now along for the ride, subscribed! BTW what kinda power you shooting for? 800 territory or beyond?

    any work on getting the S55 crank in the N55? really interested in that for the weight savings on the rotating assembly.

    • @Inhouseperformance
      @Inhouseperformance  4 месяца назад +1

      I actually held out cause I want to see what the limit is on the cast crank. Im taking a huge risk for the data as I have an S55 available for me to use. Hopefully if I do experience failure it wont be catastrophic and we all learn something.

      Yes thats the plan. I wanted to do a budget style build for those wanting to try and push their engines a little harder without spending a lot of money. I think this will get me where Ill finally be happy for this chassis.
