Hey everyone, I've got some unfortunate news to share. The "Logomakr" app I use in this video, along with some other tutorials, is no longer free to use for a low-resolution file. I know, it's frustrating. This is usually how things go in tech: make something free and easy to use, build up a large user base, and then switch to pay-to-play. Unfortunately, this is the case here. They just changed it to pay-only recently, like this week or the last. I'm really sorry for any inconvenience this causes, especially if you were excited to create a free logo. I’m actively looking for good alternatives that are still free to use and will update you all as soon as I find something that works well. Thanks for your understanding and patience. Faiq Hassan why pay for better quality you can just double layer the image in photoshop and add gloss for free if you are will to do the work but 19 dollars not a bad deal paying that also copyright your logo with them
This tutorial was the best of the best! To the point, no annoying music background, no tongue popping and repetitive words such as 'And', 'So', 'whateva whateva'. I literally ran into all those garbage until I found this gem. Absolutely the most helpful DIY. Thank you so much!

Great explanation of the LogoMakr, I think they have changed their policies since this video was made. The free download version is so lo-res that it is unusable.
Yea, the free version has always been low res and is only suitable for usage in small places like the logo of a website. To pay for the high resolution file is only around $29 I think which isnt too bad. Free usually wont be perfect for sure.
@Create a Pro Website: may I duplicate this exact logo? Or do you have a copyright which prohibits anyone else from copying your design? (Only thing I would like to change, is the color of the word 'cut')
You actually can still download the logo for free. I just used it yesterday. Under the blue download your files button, you have to click on the grey box that says "download low resolution files" then you can enter your email and they send you the logo for free. I use it quite frequently for free logos. Hope this clears things up.

Must have commercial use permission for our business logos we plan to use, put on business cards, packaging, websites and social media etc... please advise or correct if that's untrue. Ty. I wouldn't think you'd do such a helpful video to excite people if using the designs weren't legal etc. Lol. Gonna try it out and hopefully find great icons etc that express my vision for my brand while I wait to hear back from you so I won't have to pay $5 on fivver before seeing (though others were very cute and catchy etc) or paying $1 for 7days of canva pro just to cancel lol.

As a logo designer myself, if you take your company seriously then get a serious logo designer! For one if you use this you have no real rights to the design, and anyone can take it! You also are probably not a logo designer and do not understand what a good logo looks like! So if you're having fun go ahead! But if you are serious about your logo get someone who knows what they are doing! 👍

Great content however I feel misled. The demo is on the free logo however the end result on the pads of paper must clearly be the paid version as I did not see any credit given to the logo maker as stated must be done when using the free version. Which makes me wonder if the end result would be not look as the one shown on the pads. I could be wrong but I’m a pretty good listener. I hate wasting time and I suspect this could quite possibly be one. Notice the direction to click the link in the bio. If the author could clear this matter up?
I noticed the free agreement states that if you're caught using the logo for commercial purpose or anything other than personal then they'll fine you $1700. Just be careful.

That is correct. Simply mention subtly that the logo is from them, or you can purchase the high resolution logo and not have to mention them.

@@DNWylie I didn't change the size. I just saved it and then e mailed it to the screen printing shop and they resized it for our shirts.

I noticed the free agreement states that if you're caught using the logo for commercial purpose or anything other than personal then they'll fine you $1700. Just be careful.

Not helpful at all. You need to spend $18 on high quality logo or download low-quality one after making an ACCOUNT on their website.
