That last one was, I believe, the most authentic because it was so quick and claustrophobic. The stoic look on Bond's face as he waits for his foe to die speaks volumes which no amount of dialogue could ever hope to convey.
Very nice mixture of the fights, you got all the most violent and brutal fight of all Bonds (except Dalton). Since Moore`s Bond was more focused on charm and humour, he didn`t really have impressing fights though. But I guess the Sandor and Chang ones are the most brutal he did. I also enjoy his final battle against Zorin, though it isn`t much of a fist fight.
The fight in OHMSS was an excellent fight. PERFECTLY CHOREOGRAPHED. But it was filmed horribly, the editing isn't anything to compliment either. Great fight. Great movie. Great actor!
George Lazenby: the master! The screen test for this fight is what finally got him the part (out of five finalists). Moore doesn’t even come close. Sean Connery’s train fight with Robert Shaw is another classic. It holds up incredibly well, to this day!
One of the best fights of the whole franchise is the servant guy vs Necros in The Living Daylights. Brilliantly performed by both actors and as good as any fight Bond is featured in.
It was my favorite fight scene too, but it's pretty stupid now that I rewatch it. They don't really fight, they just climb haha, and Necros grabs his shoe for no reason
I'm glad that you did not add the fight scene from Spectre.... even though I respect Dave Bautista as a wrestler and one hell of a physical presence, his fight with Daniel Craig's Bond was so rigged in Bautista's favor, it wasn't even believable or Fair!
What! you left off the stairwell scene from Casino Royale. If that wasn't brutal I don't know what was Craig was covered in blood after that fight even had to change his shirt! Guess you can't include them all.
@amarsbarr I think the fight between Bond and Chang in Moonraker was more intense and brutal because more damage was caused during that fight. I think that was the most intense fight among the Bond films with Roger Moore.
Your missing a few fights such as bond vs oddjob, bond vs the car driver from yolt, bond vs jaws, bond vs zorin, bond vs necros, bond vs stamper, bond vs mr kil,and bond vs Carlos
I’d say Necros vs green four was even more brutal, than bond vs Necros you should watch it again, this fight occurs in the safe house (green four is retired MI6 now butler/security)
I like the 2 fighting parts from "Goldeneye" and "Quantum of Solace". And I also like other fighting part from "Goldfinger", the one that 007 and Goldfinger fighting each other on the plane before 007 grabs Goldfinger's revolver and shoot the plane window and Goldfinger flies into the window, stuck half of it and he's out of the plane.
The only thing I don't like about Sean Connery's fight was how quickly he composed himself (straightening his tie) afterward. Being hurt and badly shaken would have made it stronger. But I love how claustrophobic and desperate that fight was -- the first chance Bond has to go on the offensive, he's stomping and kicking. Not a lot of fancy moves, but real stuff like front facelocks.
These really were some pretty good fight scenes from the Bond series, but I always had trouble with the one From Russia With Love. At :55, Bond would have had Grant right there, he could have broken his neck just by dropping down, end of fight. As for Quantum of Solace, that was the only good scene in the movie. And this clip should have included the stairway fight scene from Casino Royale, easily one of the best Bond movies ever made.
george lazenby with that cool hand to hand style, which has appearance just for 1 film, too bad I think he should make guest appearance later on brosnan or craig bond
Connery's fight with Shaw is one of the best fist fights in cinema, Lazenby actaully showed decent physicality in his scene but the editing is all over the place, why is it sped up so much? Dont know why everyone's praising the Quantum fight so much, love Craig but that scene was totally uneeded, just so they could rip off the hardack book moment from the bourne ultimatum. He had much better fights in Casino Royale.
While Sean Connery is my favourite bond and I love the fight between him and red grant I'd have to say that the fight between 007 and 006 from GoldenEye is my favourite and also the only fight where the bad guy wins well the fight not the ladder bit. I don't really like the rest of Bronson's movies or his bond though
@albatani27 Roger Moore and Sean Connery are my favourite Bonds because both of them were funny, entertaining and serious at the same time. I grew up with their Bonds and they have never failed to entertain me. I don't care what people think, Roger Moore and Sean Connery will always be James Bond to me.
@amarsmarr Roger Moore was my favorite and he played it perfectly. He knew he couldn't do what Connery did, so he made the character more humorous which played to his own strengths. If you want to see good fight scenes of his though, check out his "Saint" series.
I think George Lazenby was the best fighter until Daniel Craig. Lazenby may have been a wooden actor but he kicked some serious ass in OHMSS. Also he was a black belt and a fight instructor for the SAS.
The From Russia With Love one was the best, although it's somewhat sanitized from the original Fleming novel in which Bond stabs Red Grant in the groin with his knife in the train fight.
@broman178 Dalton did several fight scenes but the most brutal was against a Russian prison guard while handcuffed in "The Living Daylights". It's too bad he only did 2 films as his portrayal would lend itself to more brutal fighting style.
I don't hate Roger Moore, but he is actually older than Sean Connery. I have no idea why they replaced him with someone older, and his slow movement really shows. From Russia with Love is brilliant, and that moment in Goldeneye was one of only a few bits I lived about Pierce Brosnam's bond.
haha roger moore's were the funniest because they were so over the top and pure silly, the spy who loved me one was terrible in every sense, it was good fun to watch though :) I like moore's films for that, cheesy and over the top, and silly. :D
George Lazenby was a hand to hand instructor for Australian Special Forces and he beat the shit out of one of the stuntman as a test from the Bond producers! I actually think he could have been a much greater Bond if they had let him!
One of my faves is Sean Connery and his fight in a hospital against a very threatening bearded man. Bond eventually wins with his own urine sample and the bearded mans back impaled with broken beakers and test tubes. Check it out... one of the scariest ones for Bond.
The only thing I don't like about Daniel Craig is his fighting style is too much like Bourne, and it really sows in the video, the classics bonds fights were all about good old fashioned brawling, hair pulling, face grabbing, throwing each other around the room, Daniel Craig's just seems a bit too smooth and controlled to be believable
Well mate, if you are looking for cruel, sad, and realistic situations in movies, avoid every James Bond flick by all means and buy yourself the Woody Allen's collection.
The opening Fight has got to be one of the most realistic Fight scenes ever. They really kicked the crap out of one another!!!
Nice! I might have included the fight scene in The Living Daylights with the milk man and the security guy. Great underrated fight scene.
I agree that was a brilliant my fight (one of my actual favourite fights because it was Borne-style and didn’t include Bond)
007 vs 006 was the best fight in the entire James Bond Series
It was the most intense. You could tell it was personal.
I also enjoy his final battle against Zorin, though it isn`t much of a fist fight.
man the george lazenby one was badass!
Lazenby should have been Bond longer. Her Majesty's Secret Service was great.
I think so too
Sorry, but he wasn't a patch on Connery or any of the other Bonds. But respect as I always appreciate other peoples opinions when it comes to Bond
The fight in OHMSS was an excellent fight. PERFECTLY CHOREOGRAPHED. But it was filmed horribly, the editing isn't anything to compliment either. Great fight. Great movie. Great actor!
Brilliant editing, superbly choreographed, fantastic. And the bad guys always get their comeuppance!
George Lazenby: the master! The screen test for this fight is what finally got him the part (out of five finalists). Moore doesn’t even come close.
Sean Connery’s train fight with Robert Shaw is another classic. It holds up incredibly well, to this day!
roger moore fight was hilarious! :D
Where are some of the brutal fight scenes from Licence to Kill?
Because they don't need it.
A truly good fight scene is done with the only sounds being the fighting itself. That's what makes it more intense.
The one on the rooftop in The Spy Who Loved Me (starts at 4.00) is laughable.
I think your thinking of the wrong fight scene. Not Necros vs Bond, The MI6 safe house agent vs Bond
well done...nice editing. sean connery is still the best james bond
I'm glad that you did not add the fight scene from Spectre.... even though I respect Dave Bautista as a wrestler and one hell of a physical presence, his fight with Daniel Craig's Bond was so rigged in Bautista's favor, it wasn't even believable or Fair!
Don't mean to be that guy but this video was way out before Spectre ^^;
George Lazenby was a beast! I really wanted to see more of his Bond.
Daniel Craig always looks the meanest Bond. Which is good.
I like the way the FRWL scene cuts into the OHMSS scene.
Lol! I love the Moore-Bonds, but meanwhile the scene in Egypt reminds me of Laurel & Hardy - compared to Craigs fighting scenes
What! you left off the stairwell scene from Casino Royale. If that wasn't brutal I don't know what was Craig was covered in blood after that fight even had to change his shirt! Guess you can't include them all.
Why did the creator of this video put the worst Moore fight in?
(opens video) Sweet! Connery vs Robert Shaw!
@amarsbarr I think the fight between Bond and Chang in Moonraker was more intense and brutal because more damage was caused during that fight. I think that was the most intense fight among the Bond films with Roger Moore.
4:00 was like watching a WWE match
Holy shit, you're right.
Personally I would've picked the Stairwell Fight from Casino Royale but all in all a great selection.
What about the Stairwell fight in Casino Royale with Obanno I think it was more brutal than Quantum of Solace with Slate.
Your missing a few fights such as bond vs oddjob, bond vs the car driver from yolt, bond vs jaws, bond vs zorin, bond vs necros, bond vs stamper, bond vs mr kil,and bond vs Carlos
I’d say Necros vs green four was even more brutal, than bond vs Necros you should watch it again, this fight occurs in the safe house (green four is retired MI6 now butler/security)
last fight is the best. Love Daniel Craig as james bond
how come the fights have no back ground music?
I like the 2 fighting parts from "Goldeneye" and "Quantum of Solace". And I also like other fighting part from "Goldfinger", the one that 007 and Goldfinger fighting each other on the plane before 007 grabs Goldfinger's revolver and shoot the plane window and Goldfinger flies into the window, stuck half of it and he's out of the plane.
Never seen any Woody Allen films but I'll take your word for it
The only thing I don't like about Sean Connery's fight was how quickly he composed himself (straightening his tie) afterward. Being hurt and badly shaken would have made it stronger. But I love how claustrophobic and desperate that fight was -- the first chance Bond has to go on the offensive, he's stomping and kicking. Damn that 2nd brawl was/is better than the IMF bathroom brawl!!
george lazenby with that cool hand to hand style, which has appearance just for 1 film, too bad
I think he should make guest appearance later on brosnan or craig bond
Which one?
Connery's fight with Shaw is one of the best fist fights in cinema, Lazenby actaully showed decent physicality in his scene but the editing is all over the place, why is it sped up so much? Dont know why everyone's praising the Quantum fight so much, love Craig but that scene was totally uneeded, just so they could rip off the hardack book moment from the bourne ultimatum. He had much better fights in Casino Royale.
what´s is the name of this actor?
Is the hotel room ok?
what film was the last fight out of ?
No Dalton?
007 vs 006 - best Bond fight - period
you know sean connery is a kyokushin karate blackbelt george lazenby being a judo blackbelt
but originally bond is a judo boxer
which movie is it when the guy holds his tie the falls off the rooftop
the spy who loved me.
The Spy who loved me
where was dalton
I agree, I didn't like the movie that much either but that particular scene was good.
Did not know that Sean Connery does karate but what style does he use.
I wonder if Bond ever says "Can I go through ONE mission where someone DOESN'T try to kick my ass? ONE mission. That's all I ask."
@amarsbarr well it wouldn't have been 'austin powers' back then, because austin powers was partly created around bond.
couldn't find one for Timothy?
@albatani27 Roger Moore and Sean Connery are my favourite Bonds because both of them were funny, entertaining and serious at the same time. I grew up with their Bonds and they have never failed to entertain me. I don't care what people think, Roger Moore and Sean Connery will always be James Bond to me.
seems like every bond has their own fight that has no music
Actually Roger Moore does have a good brutal fight scene, in The Man With The Golden Gun.
Quantum may have been a bad movie but that fight was awesome
FRWL has the best fight ever!
@amarsmarr Roger Moore was my favorite and he played it perfectly. He knew he couldn't do what Connery did, so he made the character more humorous which played to his own strengths. If you want to see good fight scenes of his though, check out his "Saint" series.
number 4 was my faverite
Yup he never seems convincing. Yet I liked Roger for bringing plenty of humour to the role and the sets were always good.
I think George Lazenby was the best fighter until Daniel Craig. Lazenby may have been a wooden actor but he kicked some serious ass in OHMSS. Also he was a black belt and a fight instructor for the SAS.
sean connerys and george lazenby and roger moore filmes wern a classic
The From Russia With Love one was the best, although it's somewhat sanitized from the original Fleming novel in which Bond stabs Red Grant in the groin with his knife in the train fight.
damn, Lazenby! surprised me!
@broman178 Dalton did several fight scenes but the most brutal was against a Russian prison guard while handcuffed in "The Living Daylights". It's too bad he only did 2 films as his portrayal would lend itself to more brutal fighting style.
Well, if you saw "You only live twice," Bond got some... *Extra*... moves...
Dont bee hatin on dat outstandin speed
haha roger moore's were the funniest because they were so over the top and pure silly, the spy who loved me one was terrible in every sense, it was good fun to watch though :) I like moore's films for that, cheesy and over the top, and silly. :D
George Lazenby was a hand to hand instructor for Australian Special Forces and he beat the shit out of one of the stuntman as a test from the Bond producers! I actually think he could have been a much greater Bond if they had let him!
I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking that.
yep
Lazenby was the shit ... Aussie Bond kicking ass!
velha e boa briga de rua nos filmes classicos
Blimey. Sean Bean knew how to throw himself about.
The best fight was Sean connory vs red giant
The all time action star character Mr. Bond, James Bond🔫🤵♂️ I wonder who'd be next to Daniel Craig
Daniel Graig's kill was more professional rather than a violent beat down
I hear he was Australian SAS at one time
Roger Moore is noticeably worse at the fight scenes compared to the other actors. That was just poorly done.
One of my faves is Sean Connery and his fight in a hospital against a very threatening bearded man. Bond eventually wins with his own urine sample and the bearded mans back impaled with broken beakers and test tubes. Check it out... one of the scariest ones for Bond.
From Never Say Never Again
Agreed, scary situation for 007! Far more tension and excitement than the romps with Oddjob or Jaws.
No Timothy Dalton?
The only thing I don't like about Daniel Craig is his fighting style is too much like Bourne, and it really sows in the video, the classics bonds fights were all about good old fashioned brawling, hair pulling, face grabbing, throwing each other around the room, Daniel Craig's just seems a bit too smooth and controlled to be believable
It makes Bond actually look like someone who is SBS and MI6 trained.
1:19 Middle finger?
Lmaoo
Funnily enough the blonde guy in the beginning survives and is eaten by a shark :O
Well mate, if you are looking for cruel, sad, and realistic situations in movies, avoid every James Bond flick by all means and buy yourself the Woody Allen's collection.
What a helpful chap XD
Roger Moore is the most baddass bond.
the first fight seems like play time compared to daniel craig
it was stupid that in Goldeneye after 006 fell, he still survived..he didnt even get knocked out.
you wont be needing this...old man.
well yeah....... of course but you get the gist of what I'm saying :D
To be fair, the belly dancer scene in The Man with The Golden Gun was pretty brutal for Roger Moore.
still the best scene of the vid..SPEAK TO ME XD
@computermaster i dont think he was fat - but you seem to have singled him out for some reason
the " man of color in the second fight scene is dressed as a mechanic , waiter or something?
You forgot Dalton.
Best one is Sean Connery!
Daniel Craig is a tow truck driver compared to Roger, Pierce, and Connery
Brutal Armbar at 5:56.
