James Bond 007 | THE BEST OF JAWS

- At 7'2", Richard Kiel towered over Roger Moore as the indestructible JAWS. Appearing in "The Spy Who Loved Me" (1977) and "Moonraker" (1979), he was the only henchman to survive 007 and appear in two James Bond adventures.
According to director Lewis Gilbert , Jaws was so popular that they received fan mail from small children asking "Why can't Jaws be a goodie instead of a baddie?" Jaws was subsequently turned into James Bond ally.
Here are the very best moments of Jaws.

RIP Richard Kiel
I met him in a convention and was happy because he's my favorite actor/henchman in all of the Bond films
I wish I could have met him.
He (Richard kiel) passed away in 2016, RIP to him 😢
I got to meet him at DragonCon a few years before he passed. He was a very kind and gentle man, and complimented me on my memory of some of his other parts. He went out of his way to talk to you like you were a person.

That he was going to kill roger moore on the train fiight spy who live me movie
I love when jaws smiles every single time when meets bond
He's always so nice and friendly!
@@RMJ1984 And he's happy to see his bestie!
Jaws has a Smile that is "to die for"

"Well, here`s to us!"
R.I.P. Richard Kiel & Roger Moore - we`ll never forget you!
The "end" of Jaws is so silly, yet also so sweet. Once more, love conquers the beast.
You couldn't ask for a better ending for his Willey Coyote archetype character.😅
RIP Richard "Jaws" Kiel (1939-2014) 🦈🔥💣 🇺🇸
RIP Richard "Jaws" Kiel (1939-2014) 🦈🔥💣 🇺🇸
And it was his only line too.
I'm glad he lives and turns to a better life
*Richard Kiel wasn't just big in his height, but also in acting and humble. R.I.P.*

I just subricbe you
He was also in Happy Gilmore
@@andrewmontgomery5621he was in the Clint Eastwood western Pale Rider in 1985 as a bad guy.
I’d like to think of Jaws as the walking tank. He was a beast. And Richard Kiel was the perfect choice to play as him, may he Rest In Peace knowing that he made one of the most iconic villains ever.
Crazy how Jaws went from straight up terrifying in The Spy Who Loved Me to a bumbling fool, who winds up falling in love, and becoming a good guy in Moonraker.
Yay! Sometimes bad can turn good!
He played the same role in Silver Streak before he was in the Bond movies. He threw Gene Wilder off a train.
@@RepentingManGene Wilder is great! He's the only Wonka I acknowledge and was brilliant in Blazing Saddles
@@RepentingMan He got a sledgehammer between his legs in pale rider (Clint behind it of course :))
My favorite is moonbreaker that is the best movie I like is the best Moonraker ever
I saw Moonraker in the theater. Yes, it was cheesy but everyone in the theater cheered when Jaws turned on the villains and helped James Bond
Hi-hi! Me too, watching this video!
Watch him in Silver Streak with Gene Wilder. You seen that one.
I Love it how:
1. Jaws became good in the end.
2. Jaws got a Line.
3. Jaws Ended up with Dolly (in the Original Script For Your Eyes Only was to start with Their Wedding).
Ok, I gotta know, where did you hear about FYEO starting with Jaws and Dolly’s wedding?
@@jacobunderwood5206 Wikipedia
I remember watching these 007 movies growing up. Jaws always had nine lives, it was actually kinda a fun character.
Fun fact: I’m pretty sure Jaws is the only henchman Bond was never able to kill.
Fun fact: tRump lost the election
I believe there is one other buy i forgot her name
@@jobberghs3734was it Irma Bunt ? (OHMSS)
Dude survives EVERYTHING. Buildings falling on him, faulty parachutes, shark attack, flaming buildings, falling from space, falling off waterfalls, etc.
@@jobberghs3734there’s 2 of them. Irma Bundt and Baron Samedi. Jaws would’ve died from the shark attack but the rest audience loved him so much that they flipped the script so that he’d kill the shark.
The toughest, creepiest, not to mention tallest, and best Bond movie henchman ever
Also coming with some character development, hell even a girlfriend!
RIP Richard "Jaws" Kiel (1939-2014) 🦈🔥💣 🇺🇸
I always love how sharp Jaws tends to dress. Good to have style when performing your craft.
I wonder if Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees could be jealous because of Jaws.
RIP Richard "Jaws" Kiel (1939-2014) 🦈🔥💣 🇺🇸
Richard was such a sweetheart, we are all glad that Jaws had a happy ending.
Would be perfect that his girlfriend wear braces too 😁
Sad happy ending
Jaws is still bond’s greatest physical adversary, while blofeld and Goldfinger offered wit and intelligence to tangle with Bond, Jaws offered sheer brute strength that’s what made him such an iconic Bond henchman
How did goldfinger offered a 💩 .. 🤦🏻♂️
Jaws was indestructible. He was a cat with nine lives
Jaws was in the field doing work directly, blofed and goldfinger were masterminds from behind the scenes for the most part
This guy's like Jason Voorhees, he gets wrecked beyond repair and keeps coming back to have it happen again and again...and again.
Yeah, except Jaws came out before Jason Voorhees was even thought up.
If Jason Vorhees was a vampire
@@RoccoSocko Then everyone wouldn´t feel safe at night even in their own beds?
He (Richard Kiel) once said that he saw jaws as wily e coyote.
@@zachbishop9839 that bein said, jason, michael myers, and actually even james bond himself, are all like willy e coyote.
God I love the scene when Jaws got kicked off the train and he just dusts himself like nothing happened
The one Bond villain i’d love to see adapted again , brilliant character. Imagine this man constantly coming after you, never saying a word, just smiling in the distance 😮😂
Agreed I’d kill for a modern jaws
Mr. Hinx (Dave Bautista) from Spectre was somewhat similar imo.
Sounds like a Silent Hill monster
The Egyptian scene was so beautifully directed....Kiel was absolutely, aside from Bond, one of the biggest treasures the series ever had...His stature, strength, and size were an abomination yet he was a survivor and had incredible charisma.....Moonraker really showed that he was a complex character...more like an anti-villain....than a true villain....Just a gem he was! He personifies the Roger Moore films....goofy...cheesy...but most of all....absolutely fun to watch!!!! Moore's flicks were probably my favorites and I am a gigantic Bond guy!!!
The only movie henchman to be better than the main villain!
*that's true*
We also got Necros in The Living Daylights :)
RIP Richard "Jaws" Kiel (1939-2014) 🦈🔥💣 🇺🇸
Twice
Don't forget Baron Samedi.
Moonraker is outlandish and bombastic. I saw it in the theatre as a kid. There was a lot of hype for it. A real event movie at the time.
I always liked that he survived time and time again
Who can forget the goldeneye combat
4:50 walked out of the house like a boss, like nothing happened. 4:55 looked at the Italian gentleman "hey, how you doing?" before walking nonchantly like a boss!
3:08 Kiel’s hand compared to Moores and Moores head 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
9:45 "Come on, make it go faster"
9:49 "Like this?"
9:51 "Yeah, that's good"
He said so much without saying a word
Amazing yet very mega groovy teeth-like job fellows!! RIP Richard Kiel 'cause he's my favorite actor/henchman in all of the Bond films!🥰🥰🥰🧨🧨🧨🐅🐅😍🇺🇸
He was amazing.
Oh yes I would say he's the most legendary henchman of all 2nd I would say odd-job
Loved him in all his roles, brings back so many memories of growing up in the 80s, very nostalgic.
I think that his first role was a figurant in Jerry Lewis nutty professor where he plays a tall man at the gym where Jerry Lewis felt even smaller.
A very creepy villian but at the same time a great comedic relief.
*the most iconic vilain of 007 saga, his funny way to play made us laugh very much, and his redenption at the end of moonraker was the best end for the caracther*
Who would have thought that Jaws (the man) would ever be able to kill Jaws (the shark) with his bite. The best Bond villain by far
Richard was so good at being intimidating just by his facial expressions. Amazing actor, R.I.P.
Jaws meeting that woman just convinced me it was never personal it was always business in Moonraker. He could’ve just killed Bond regardless
“His name’s Jaws he kills people” says it so casually😂😂
11:03 still better than any modern day romance movie
JAWS is the most lovable villain in the history of cinema.
'You know him?'
"Not socially.. his name's Jaws.. he kills people '
It melts my heart when the freaks find love.
AHHAHAHAH LOVE that face when he knows hes gonna fall into the waterfall :D
What a giant of a man and a great villain I’m glad he found love at the end with that girl
You forgot the pre-title sequence of 'Moonraker' where Jaws kicks him out of the plane and they skydive fight before Bond has him crash into the circus big top, but every other scene was spot on--NICE WORK!
And the Brazilian carnival in the alley where he was creeping down and then the crowd came dancing and carried Jaws off with them.
@@RCLeyba88 he didn't even seem that unhappy either. He just shrugged as if to say: "oh when I guess this is my evening now"
I can watch these all day when James tryed the sucker punch funny as hell
Jaws: have to reload…
Henchman: I got you covered until
Jaws: Give me that!
Jaws was the best villain, also like how he’s the only villain that isn’t killed by bond and turns to bonds side. Wish he was used bit more, but it probably good they didn’t
Can't wait for The Book of Jaws on Disney+
His turn from henchman indicated that although He was big and strong and virtually unstoppable, He was also intelligent enough to know that what Bond alluded to is that He and His girlfriend were soon to die too after He would "expell" Bond and Dr. Goodhead. (lol) He was smart enough to know it was then He needed to turn if they were going to have a chance.
Richard Kiel was awesome. May he rest in peace.
I have always thought: "They're gonna have very weird kids"
"He can speak. He just chooses not to."
Greatest henchman of all time kids today will never know
He played the same role in Silver Streak before he was in the Bond movies.
Far too young to witness Jaws firsthand in the films, but I did get to fight him in the "Everything or Nothing" video game.
Who is here after Ye decided to removed his teeth, to look like Jaws?😂
Jaws was great, he could be very scary but he had a good comedic sense of timing, Richard played many roles that are kinda limited, but he's done them well.
Richard Keil in an interview said the metal teeth didn't fit and were very uncomfortable more or less painful to wear on takes. Best villians ever!
Jaws was one of the most comedic James Bond Henchmen ever!! Can’t think of any other henchmen that was so hilarious!! 😂😂
Missed one Jaws scene where he "manipulates" the hydraulic release for Moonraker 5 so Bond and Dr Goodhead could chase down the orbs before re-entry.
My father and I are both SUPER fans of this film, and while I can’t deny that it’s incredibly flawed, there’s just so much to like. It’s got one of the best introductions with perhaps the best ski chase scene ever, it’s got a subversive and badass Bond girl (Agent XXX), it’s the best Roger Moore bind film, it’s got iconic scenes taking place at various wonders around the world and it introduces us to Jaws for the first time. What an awesome henchman made real by a giant and very well cast Richard Kiel. What a movie!
Welcome to the yeezy jaws era everyone. You can knock my boy down but he getting back up🔥🔥
8:18 - 8:23 It was like their way of exchanging pleasantries
Jaws: Bond
Bond: Long time no see, old chap
Jaws: You're looking....alive
Bond: Yes, it seems you're not the only one whose best efforts have sadly been in vain
His final scene in The Spy Who Loved Me gives a whole new meaning to the term "shark-bite"! LOL
Richard Kiel-The coyote.Roger Moore-The road runner. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
met him at a convention, he was huge, his hands in particular were exceptionally huge, it was really cool to shake his hand
Man think he’s Ye 💀🦅🗣️
What a cool character he had, all movies.
Richard Kiel was such a great casting as Jaws, rest in peace
Who doesn't like Jaws?..he's as iconic a character as James Bond and the late, sorely missed Richard Kiel played him to Perfection.
007 movies with jaws was exciting
"Well, here's to us"
- Jaws (Richard Kiel).
You couldn't ask for a better ending for his literal Willey Coyote archetype character.

Best Henchman ever.
Jaws will forever be my favorite Bond henchmen. When I was a kid I wished I could bite through anything lol

Rip such a great man and no one will ever be jaws or like him no one can ever replace him If they make a new james bond with a new jaws richard kiel best ever ❤ 🇬🇧
Rest in Peace Richard Kiel. Sorry To Hear Your Gone Sadly big lost every one loved ❤ You in The Spy Who Loved Me 1977 & Moonraker 1979 and Cannonball Run 1 you was A Very Funny Man And a Great Funny Sense of Humour. It’s a Real Shame I Never got the Chance To Get Your Autograph which I would of loved to of Done. You Were a Bigger Man with a Bigger Heart and a Best Great Friend of Sir Roger Moore.
Richard Dawson Kiel 1939 To 2015 when ever You Died.
Greatest Bond villain ever.
jaws should of gotten his own movie
Didn't he?
In 1975, Jaws was unleashed to theaters. In 1976, we have Jaws vs. Jaws. Then we get Jaws… in SPACE
The reason Jaws makes such goofy faces before disaster is because he's not worried about dying, just getting his clothes dirty.
2:42 UOAHHH then 2 after another UOAHHH again 😂😂😂😂
RIP to Roger Moore, the best Bond & to Richard Kiel who was awesome as Jaws. At around @03:30 in the train scene from The Spy Who Loved Me, look at Richard’s hand on Roger’s neck - you can see how big he is next to Roger & how massive his hand is as it is as big aa Roger’s head. Roger Moore wasn’t a small man either but is dwarfed by Kieh.
Love how jaws help save James in the space station. When pushing the shuttle out to space
12:47 He has stainless steel balls too? 😂
His teeth aren't stainless or they wouldn't be magnetic. 🤷🏻♂️
@@7Lace77
Maybe stainless steel on the outside with an iron core. His teeth are clearly stainless on the outside but he was picked up by an electromagnet by his teeth.
@@glenncordova4027 Perhap, perhap. 🤔

Still a great actor playing Jaws
Great scenes, R.I.P. Richard "Jaws" Kiel, its been 10 years...
One of the few opponents that Bond seemed to be genuinely afraid of fighting.
Honorable Mention to Jaws attempts to fly after parachute mishap.
Jaws was one of the best villians in the Bond Movies and in the end of Moknraker changed sides and helped Bond.
At least Jaws got the cute girl.
1) Jaws is provisionally defeated, whereupon he adjusts his tie, and the initial 2) Terminator smooths its hair and adjusts his sunglasses.
Jaws is my favourite James Bond-character :)
If it weren't for Dolly, Jaws wouldn't have changed. Therefore, wouldn't betray Drax.
Dolly is the real heroine.
He is a scary guy, but his actor is afraid of heights. Not so threatening if he is afraid of heights, but he is still my favorite bond villian from the Roger Moore era!
R.I.P TO MR.RICHARD KIEL
Ye
My favourite James Bond villain.
Bless you for this - an all-time great collection.
Dick Kiel's role in the Roger Moore Bond films is screen magic. I've loved this stuff going back to the CED disc machines ❤❤❤
My favourite villain in bond!!!
I love to watch this comedian villain, again and again.

The original of Nemesis and Terminator in the cinema.
Richard Kiel was great in Gilligan’s Island where he played a Russian spy disguised as a ghost.
Funny,I just watched that episode on Pluto.
He was amusing on Happy Gilmore.
Wonderfully terrifying and totally memorable. Iconic henchman from any movie.
