I have been doing pretty much that effect with just keyframes (position, scale, etc) but the anchor points sure looks easier (and better looking). This came just in time! I got like 4 beach vids I am editing.

I want to copy those projects along with all the custom templates. i don't want to keep seeing dialog box that says FILE MISSING ( browse or ignore ) Thx Dude. you are the Master POWER DIRECTOR !
Great video!!! A question to anchor point and rotation. How can i achieve a rotation in all directions meaning x y and z direction? I know there is a freeform keyframe option, but cant find any tutorial. So not sure how to perform a x y and z rotation.....
I hope this isn’t a stupid question and that I didn’t just miss seeing it - Is there NO keystroke to add a keyframe easily in a music track? Specifically just for volume? It seems so convoluted.
After the latest update, when I resize the video on one side, it doesn't stay in a place like it used to. It moves on all sides, so I can't position it on the screen. For example, if I want to resize the video to fit only a quarter of the screen, I used to hold the lower right anchor point and drag it to the middle of the screen (while maintaining the aspect ratio). And then my video fitted perfectly in the left top corner covering from the top and from left to the center. Now if I drag the lower anchor point - it changes position on all 4 sides, so I can't adjust exactly to the quarter of the screen, because it doesn't stay in place. How can I fix it?
@@PDU_Tutorials Then I don't see the correct size while resizing. I don't see for example, if my resized screen covers exactly a quarter of the screen. That may be a killer for me because I use a lot of on-screen resizing with multiple tracks. I may need to go back to Premier after many years of using PWD... Cyberlink support is useless.

I'm not having any luck using anchor points in a 360 video of a building interior I shot with the Insta360 OneX. I want to set the initial view of each room as I move into it and then change the view toward specific objects as my tour guide describes those objects (TV, bed, microwave, etc.) I would like the person watching the video to be able to change the view of the room to something else if they don't care to view the object being described at the moment. Is all this even possible with the latest version of PowerDirector? If this isn't possible, is there a way to keep the tour guide centered in the video at all times as she moves from room-to-room and down hallways? Thanks for any advice you can offer!

can this work with text too? i want to animate text with a slow control type shake. I used pan and zoom and it looks terrible with the pan and zoom. that was the only menu with keyframes I can find. just asking if it works with text too.
I'm totally new to this. I was fiddling around and got the same result with only using the scale keystones. What was the benefit of using the anchor keystones?

Start off with the PD 19 Basic editing tutorial. Then you should check out my workflow series to give you an idea of the major steps of using the program. If you need to get some one on one training reach out to Steve Grisetti. I have seen him offer one on one training in the PD Forum. Check out his RUclips channel too.

Hi Maliek, if you wouldn't help me today then nobody w 😭ill. I shot video in MOV format, USING MY DSLR CAMERA AND RECORDED AUDIO IN Aac FORMAT. Then I linked the audio and video using powerdirector 365. But the audio and the video did not match the sync was missing During the preview both the audio and video matched perfectly But after I produced, the video and audio they did not match and did not sync. Please help me to understand what is the issue
What version of PowerDirector do you have 14, 15,19...? Is it a free version, did it come with your PC, is it the Steam version, or did you pay for it?
I am facing many complaints in this software. Now I shot a video using my android phone at 4K 60 FPS. Both audio and video are same file. In the effect room I chose white tones warm 1 effect. After applying this effect to my video, I got lip sinking problem on my video. I need a solution, I paid for this software. Please help
@@buvaneshcharlesdj5492 When you add effects you may experience lag and syncing issues during the video preview. Try decreasing your preview quality in preferences or enabling shadow files. You said you linked the audio (aac) and video (mov).. we’re they recorded using different devices? If you are not happy that you paid for the program I can do nothing about that. I don’t work for CyberLink. You can complain to them using the software via File > Rate Us & Feedback

You have to move it to the position you want after you adjust the anchor point.

As stated in the video they hold to a certain position which regular key frames don't do.unless you use more than one

Not sure i understand what the difference is between this and just moving it with key frames?
You can do it with keyframes but you'd need to keyframe each frame to do what the anchor points do.

No. This feature came out on PD 19. You can still do it, but it will take longer because you do not have anchor point keyframes in PD 18.
