    Hey, thanks for the tutorial, I used a lot of your methods but I have found a better method that zooms in all the way through the words to reveal the scene. Include all your steps apart from adding key frames and scaling of the title, once imported into your project and blended / multiply you just crop / zoom in through the words. No fade out required.

    Cool effect! Might come in handy, but it always the little things I get from these videos that impact me the most. In this, I noticed that your default Fade transition time was only 1 sec. I always felt like the PD default of 2 secs was nearly always longer than I prefer, making me manually shorten it every time I use a transition. But now I know it must be possible to set it to something other default and after a couple minutes of poking around I found out where (Edit> Preferences> Editing>Durations>Transitions). So now, BOOM...1 sec default. YAY! "It's the little things, people!" (must use MW's voice when reading that) haha

    Love you bro... kept loving PD but kept feeling limited and considered switching to Adobe Premiere, feel confident doing everything in PD but felt text effects/titles are lacking... I don't know how to do a little streamer banner with text on top and at least landing on this video (new to the channel), I feel that there's more than meets the eye. Thanks again and wishing you all the best and I've rung that bell. Keep doing your thing and have a wonderful weekend.

      Great to hear! I appreciate the subbing. If you have the subscription version there are several lower third (streamer banner with text on top) templates that you can use. Look in the title room and shape designer.

    Great tutorial as usual. Is it possible to use same intro effect on every other project I create by saving it but changing the title afterwards. Thanks in advance

    • @PDU_Tutorials
      @PDU_Tutorials  3 года назад +1

      Yes. Save the project of just the intro. When you have a new project insert the intro project as a nested project and change the text

    Very cool and quick but was wondering why we use Multiply rather than Overlay? Would Overlaying produce the same effect?

    • @PDU_Tutorials
      @PDU_Tutorials  4 года назад +1

      No, overlay would leave the text white.

    I'm just learning the very basics of 365. Every thing I know how to do at this point is from watching you. Thank you. I am wondering where to get effects to use for like, Subscribe, and share for you tube?

    Dear Maliek, Thanks for teaching us these valuable lessons... I wondered how did you create your own intro (the one that says PowerDirector University) with the cool visual and sound effects!
    Best Regards,

      I made it using a video compositor.

    This is great! I love how you teach. I noticed that in Cyberlink I do not have much in terms of Title templates (only 8) or choices (you have many). How do I get these? I also want to have my title letters fall randomly-do you have a video on this?

    • @PDU_Tutorials
      @PDU_Tutorials  4 года назад

      Thanks for watching. I have the 365 subscription, do you? This might be the reason that I have more templates as the subscription comes with packs that you download using the CyberLink Application manager. The packs have loads of templates. Have you looked at the motion options in the title designer to see what options it has for falling letters? Place your cursor over each motion to see a preview of what it does.

      @@PDU_Tutorials I did resolve my Title question exactly as you said. Even used Masking to edit a video.
      I have Power Director version 17 and it only has 8 Title Templates. My old version came with many more. Is there a safe place where I can get some free downloads?
