You are seriously "da man"! I have learned so much from your videos and appreciate you putting them together for all of us to be better at what we do out here in the field. I go back all the way to Power Director 14 with you and can honestly say, you are the best at what you do. Videos are easy to follow, concise, and always spot on! Thank you Maliek.
This is great. I could have used this 2 months ago. My bad for getting behind on watching your vids. It is in my arsenal going forward! I really appreciate your tutorials and especially appreciate that you make them entertaining.
Hi Maliek. Just wanted to say thanks for your intro video. Whilst I am stuck on PD 16 ( I'm 77 years young and cannot afford the upgrade) just spent several hours generating my new start #intro Text using your video. Took a while for this old head to handle it however now very happy with the outcome. Thanks heaps from down under.
Hi Rod. I'm glad my video helped you get it done. Great thing about this program is that you can usually figure out how to do things with the previous versions using the new tutorials. Have a great day!
A workaround for earlier PD version users might be to use chroma-key if blend is unavailable. But this is something I might have a bit of an experimental fiddle with at some time, to see what I can come up with as a PD14 Ultra user.
@@PDU_Tutorials I've done some title effects using particle effects which I'll explain sometime as to explain now would be too involved and take up too much space.
Thx bro, u are a true goat now I know how to edit my vids and put them on youtube now imma grind on my channel(TCL Toxic) thanks again bro stay safe god bless
Hey, thanks for the tutorial, I used a lot of your methods but I have found a better method that zooms in all the way through the words to reveal the scene. Include all your steps apart from adding key frames and scaling of the title, once imported into your project and blended / multiply you just crop / zoom in through the words. No fade out required.
#IntroText!! I am new to PowerDirector and video editing. I bought PD 19 last weekend, I don't have PD 365. I am a little lost but trying to follow your vids. I appreciate your presence on RUclips.
Thanks for watching my content. I hope it helps you get used to the program. Start off watching videos on the following topics: basic editing, split and trim, produce, text and titles, transitions, and go from there.
I just wanted to take the time to THANK YOU so very much. While it is (when you know how) a simple effect, the end results are professional and also enables you to have a more personal touch in your intro! Also nice, simple and clear instructions. Feel your sub count should be much higher!!!! :-) Have an awesome day and thank you once again!
Cool effect! Might come in handy, but it always the little things I get from these videos that impact me the most. In this, I noticed that your default Fade transition time was only 1 sec. I always felt like the PD default of 2 secs was nearly always longer than I prefer, making me manually shorten it every time I use a transition. But now I know it must be possible to set it to something other default and after a couple minutes of poking around I found out where (Edit> Preferences> Editing>Durations>Transitions). So now, BOOM...1 sec default. YAY! "It's the little things, people!" (must use MW's voice when reading that) haha
One can adjust the default duration in settings. I have left mine at 2 seconds and manually adjust the length based on the specific need. I also edit almost everything in 30 frames rather than 24, so a half second for me is 15 frames.
It worked! Ta-Daaah!!! Your explanation made it clear how to do this. The free version that I am using to test PD while I decide on a purchase has buttons that are slightly different than the version that you used here but I got the job done. And heck yeah this kind of intro title is sweeet! Thank you, Maliek!
